SUMMARY:Wet Leg at First Avenue
DESCRIPTION:September 9\, 2025 Tuesday \nWet Leg\n with mary in the junkyard\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com \nThe hottest band of 2022 (and now 2025!)\, Wet Leg will be headlining First Avenue\, in Minneapolis\, on September 9\, 2025. The tour is in support of their album moisturizer.\n \nWe caught the band in Mar 2022\, and wrote\, “Speaking of going well\, this was only Wet Leg’s second American date\, and judging by the reception\, they are going to have an absolutely great time. The band was started by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers\, meeting at Wight College at the Isle of Wight. After ten years of friendship\, they decided to produce music under Wet Leg and released their debut single\, “Chaise Longue”\, which became a massive viral hit. We’re talking over 3 million streams on the music video alone (millions on Spotify as well). It’s easy to see why\, the song is fun and it’s catchy… and it’s like nothing you’ve ever heard of\, especially when you hear Rhian saying\, “I got the big D.” as the song has a sexual connotation.” \n\nmary in the junkyard to open. \n\nWet Leg north american moistourizer 2025 Tour Routing \n\n\nSeptember 1: Paramount Theatre – Seattle\, WA\nSeptember 3: Malkin Bowl – Vancouver\, BC\nSeptember 5: Revolution Hall – Portland\, OR\nSeptember 9: First Avenue – Minneapolis\, MN\nSeptember 10: Salt Shed – Chicago\, IL\nSeptember 12: HISTORY – Toronto\, ON\nSeptember 13: MTELUS – Montreal\, QC\nSeptember 14: Roadrunner – Boston\, MA\nSeptember 15: Franklin Music Hall – Philadelphia\, PA\nSeptember 17: Summerstage in Central Park – New York\, NY\nSeptember 19: 9:30 Club – Washington\, DC\nSeptember 21: Shaky Knees – Atlanta\, GA\nSeptember 30: Fox Theater – Oakland\, CA\nOctober 3: Arizona Financial Theatre – Phoenix\, AZ\nOctober 7: The Criterion – Oklahoma City\, OK\nOctober 14: Lowbrow Palace – El Paso\, TX\nOctober 17: The Greek Theatre – Los Angeles\, CA\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Japanese Breakfast at Palace Theatre
DESCRIPTION: \nSeptember 9\, 2025 Tuesday \nJapanese Breakfast\nwith Ginger Root\nat Palace Theatre\nfirst-avenue.com \nIndie pop band Japanese Breakfast (aka Michelle Zauner) is back in the Twin Cities\, playing the Palace Theatre\, in St Paul\, on September 9\, 2025. Their latest album For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women) is available now on Dead Oceans. Last year we saw Japanese Breakfast play their biggest venue yet: the Armory!\n \nWe saw Japanese Breakfast in July 2022 and wrote\, “If you caught the Japanese Breakfast show at First Avenue in September\, it’s almost the same show\, down to the Little Big League song\, “Boyish”\, and same encore songs (“Posing for Cars” and “Diving Woman”). Most of the changes in the new song were to drop songs like “In Heaven” and “The Woman That Loves You”\, and adding new songs – mostly on the second half of the set: “The Body Is a Blade” to “Slide Tackle”. Still\, for the audience\, they were still very excited to see Japanese Breakfast again\, and always big cheers whenever the gong is used (“Paprika”).” \n\nGinger Root to open. \nTour Dates \n\n\n\nAug 20 – San Diego\, CA @ Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre *\nAug 21 – Pioneertown\, CA @ Pappy + Harriet’s #\nAug 22 – Los Angeles\, CA @ Greek Theatre *\nAug 23 – Santa Barbara\, CA @ Santa Barbara Bowl *\nAug 27 – San Francisco\, CA @ The Masonic *\nAug 28 – San Francisco\, CA @ The Masonic *\nAug 29 – Sacramento\, CA @ Channel 24 *\nAug 30 – Bend\, OR @ Hayden Homes Amphitheater *\nSep 01 – Vancouver\, BC @ The Orpheum *\nSep 02 – Seattle\, WA @ Woodland Park Amphitheater *\nSep 03 – Seattle\, WA @ Woodland Park Amphitheater *\nSep 05 – Salt Lake City\, UT @ Twilight Concert Series @ Pioneer Park * ^\nSep 06 – Denver\, CO @ The Mission Ballroom *\nSep 08 – Lawrence\, KS @ Liberty Hall *\nSep 09 – St Paul\, MN @ The Palace Theater *\nSep 10 – Madison\, WI @ The Sylvee *\nSep 27 – Bridgeport\, CT @ Soundside Music Festival\nOct 04 – Austin\, TX @ Austin City Limits Music Festival\nOct 05 – Bentonville\, AR @ The Momentary\nOct 06 – St Louis\, MO @ The Pageant\nOct 08 – Oklahoma City\, OK @ The Criterion\nOct 09 – Houston\, TX @ White Oak Music Hall\nOct 10 – New Orleans\, LA @ The Joy Theatre\nOct 11 – Austin\, TX @ Austin City Limits Music Festival\nNov 01 – Mexico City\, MX @ Festival Hypnosis\n\n* w/ Ginger Root\n# w/ Hand Habits\n^ w/ Tomper\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
