Along with the announcement they shared the lead track ‘Weakened’\, today they have followed up with a new track\, ‘Stella’. \nFollowing the divine heights of its predecessor\, Lambchop’s latest track settles into a state of lush minimalism; guitar and banjo intertwine beneath an omnipresent choir that drifts gracefully throughout the forthcoming album. \nSpeaking of the track Kurt says: “Had a long dream last night where I ended up deep in the woods playing guitar and singing. When I was done and walking back to my car there were a few people in the woods who voiced their approval. Felt pretty good. I have no idea what that was about. Vile’s new album Philadelphia’s been good to me is out now on Verve Records.\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show. \n\n\n \n\n              \n\nWe saw Vile in May 2022 and wrote\, “We first saw Kurt Vile at Rock the Garden in June 2014 and described the former War on Drugs guitarist: “Vile himself plays with an almost introverted style\, often staring down at his own guitar\, long hair shielding any glimpse of his face.” As with our previous assessments\, Vile would prefer not to be in the spotlight… instead letting his band and the music they play speaks for itself. Walking on the stage to supergroup The Highwaymen’s cover of “Highwayman”\, the band launched into “Palace of OKV in Reverse”\, taken from Vile & the Violator’s new album (watch my moves).
