As usual\, with a month out\, we don’t know what the programming will be like for the April show.  Plus\, considering weather into account\, that could squash any programming.  Still\, if it’s sunny and warm\, people will show up and hang out.\n\n\n          Asian Night Market       \n\n\nWe attended the last event in March 2026 and noted\, “These recent Asian Night Market events (March 13 and March 14) drew in a massive crowd at the RD International Market on Beach Blvd\, in Jacksonville. It was so crowded that there were no spaces to park\, forcing us to temporary park in an area not intended for parking. A couple of updates on the Asian Night Market for 2026\, they’ve reduced their schedule to a two-day event\, taking place the second weekend of every month… It does make it easier to just keep it to one location (RD International) and it’ll be easier to manage. This year the organizers booked Matisyahu.\n\n\n              \n\n\nWe saw Matisyahu in  Oct 2025 and said\, “It took a little longer\, but as promised\, the band came back\, taking their position. This time\, the empty center stage is now filled by Matisyahu\, who takes the full spotlight. And when I say spotlight\, at times\, whoever was working the lights had turned it on so bright that Matisyahu kept asking them to turn it down. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall venue has all-new sound equipment and light system\, that perhaps they were still working out what works best. The lights and sounds were incredible\, but in this situation\, it seemed like it could have benefited with a low-key or dimmed lights. In typical Matisyahu shows\, there were people who came to his show with the flag of Israel. This is like if you go to a band from Wales and you will always see the Welsh flag.
