DESCRIPTION:Red Rum Club at 7th St Entry (May 11\, 2026)\n\n\nMay 11\, 2026 Monday\nRed Rum Club\nwith Joan of Profile\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nLiverpool’s Red Rum Club returns to the Twin Cities\, playing the 7th Street Entry\, on May 11\, 2026.\n\n\n          Red Rum Club       \n\n\nWe previously saw Red Rum Club in May 2024 and said\, “The first thing that hits you is that Red Rum Club is a very large band\, featuring lead vocalist Francis Doran\, guitarist Tom Williams\, second guitarist Michael McDermott\, bassist Simon Hepworth\, drummer Neil Lawson\, and trumpeter Joe Corby. They struggled to fit everyone on the small Turf Club stage\, and might occasionally bump into each other while dancing. I think they just need to be on a bigger stage. Based on antics and observation\, you can tell that these guys have grown up together or spent a lot of time together. According to their biography\, they most of them met from school and then when they were 14 years old and inspired to start a band after a Battle of the Bands competition. If you didn’t know the band’s name Red Rum Club\, came from Stephen King’s The Shining (popularized by the Stanley Kubrick film adaption).”\n\n\nJoan of Profile to open.
