This is the kind of band where a mosh pit or fight might break out at a smaller venue\, and the quartet (vocals/guitar\, guitar\, bass\, and drums) might be happy about it. Singer Coco Kinnon was aggressively all over\, and the stage set up on day 3 included a new walkway jutting out of the front center\, which she took full advantage of. A screamed “Minnesooooota!” was the front end of the band’s intro\, where Kinnon mentioned this was the last stop on a tour that started in February. (Given how dull the audience already was\, this must have been a great feeling to end the tour on.) That harder punk sound in both music and singing continued shine through. I loved a moment when she pulled enough cord length out for the guitarist to come out on the stage extension and get that adulatory moment with his solo. The band has toured relentlessly on the album over the past year-and-a-half\, even releasing a live record from one of the tours\, and more. \nHello Hell\, and the newly released track “Wasteland\,” were produced with Alex Allinson at The Bridge Sound & Stage (BEDTIMEMAGIC\, The Freqs\, Lesotho)\, mastered by Brad Boatright (The Armed\, Sleep\, Nails)\, and completed with artwork and videos by guitarist/vocalist Andrew Wong. Wong reveals\, “We made the video on the road. We’ve been touring in the past year and a half since Hello Hell came out\, it’s hard to find time to make a video. The band\, with Nickole Regala (vocals\, bass)\, Frankie Sripada (guitar)\, and Sophia Williams (guitar\, backing vocals)\, was touring in support of their debut full length album\, All in a Name\, released in June 2025. With a drummer in tow\, the quartet went to work with their psych rock sound. Motel was a strong opener\, with Regala’s vocals a silky smooth intro for the band. But we also quickly got dual vocals with Williams regularly joining in on fantastic harmonies or dual leads. G String had excellent harmonies both vocally and musically on guitar. I also really dug the band’s stage presence\, with a slightly more hard core take. With Williams taking lead vocals\, it was a slight change\, but also allowed Regala to own the lower end on bass and Sripada to shred on a mid-song solo. Faouzia looked pleased at the sold out show\, and said that it’s an honor to have Minneapolis as her first American show. You see\, Minneapolis was her very first road trip with her family. She visited the Mall of America\, so she has a soft spot for the state. Most of Faouzia’s set featured songs from Citizens\, which fans helping to sing along to the singles\, like “RIP\, Love” and “Thick and Thin.” Faouzia first became famous at the age of 15\, winning various awards. Her first single\, “Knock on My Door” came out in 2015\, and recently\, she released her deeply personal single\, “Habibi (My Love)”. It’s simply a love song\, as Faouzia said\, “to remind those closest to me how priceless and valuable their love is. I used the word ‘Habibi’ (which means ‘my love’) since it’s an Arabic term I use (as well as anyone who speaks the language) and it is very authentic and real to me.””\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict.
