SUMMARY:Mpls: Selby Ave Jazz Fest (Sep 12\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Selby Ave Jazz Fest (Sep 12\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 12\, 2026 SaturdaySeptember 13\, 2026 Sunday Selby Ave. Jazz Fest\nat Selby Avenue\nselbyavejazzfest.org\n\nThe annual Selby Ave. Jazz Fest is back on the weekend of September 12 and 13.\n\n\n Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles \n\n\nWe attended Selby Ave last year and wrote\, “The Selby Avenue Jazz Fest is in the heart of St. Paul\, specifically\, the Rondo neighborhood. It was founded in 2002 as a response to the one-year anniversary of 9/11. Co-founder\, Michael Wright\, felt a need to celebrate the good things going on in the world and in the heart of St. Paul\, and he felt\, “Nothing gets people together like a good old-fashioned block party.” The inaugural Jazz Fest had 600 people. There were quite a few more on Saturday. The original intent of getting people together was evident on arrival for it seemed everybody knew everybody. I have never seen more hugs shared at a music festival and I’ve been to a few EDM concerts. The colorful clothing added to the flair to the festivities. And as a side note\, I was surprised to see so many tattoos\, especially on attendees who could visit the AARP booth. My favorite sighting was a guy in his 80’s\, dressed like he was going to go work out at the local gym. On his left calf there was US. On his right calf MC. Hooah!”\n \n\nDetails:\n\n\n\nImmerse yourself in a celebrated St.Paul tradition! Now proudly presented by Walker | West Music Academy\, the Selby Ave. Jazz Fest brings nearly 10\,000 people together for an unforgettable day of world-class live jazz\, local art\, food\, and vibrant community energy. \n DAY ONE / September 12\, 2026 • Electric • Immersive • Soulful • Kinetic • Unscripted • Celebrated • Unforgettable • Unifying • Collaborative \n Experience a free\, full day of world-class music\, the Village Marketplace\, diverse food specialties\, and a dedicated Family Fun Zone. Stokley’s own musical journey included time as a student right here at Walker|West\, and we are incredibly proud to welcome him back to the halls where he once honed his craft. DESCRIPTION:Mini Trees at 7th St Entry (Sep 12\, 2026)\n\nSeptember 12\, 2026 Saturday\n Mini Trees\nwith frown line\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com\nLos Angeles’ Mini Trees is returning to Minnesota\, playing the 7th Street Entry on September 12\, 2026.\n\n \n\nWe saw Mini Trees in their first appearance in the area in April 2022 and wrote\, “On their first appearance in the area\, Los Angeles based Mini Trees thanked the audience for showing up early to hear them play. We wrote about the band in July 2021\, saying that it was Lexi Vega’s solo musical project\, and they will be releasing a debut album on Run For Cover Records. At that time\, we actually didn’t know the title of her album… well I would like to report that the album is called Always In Motion\, and the band played songs from that debut album… including “Carrying On” and “Cracks in the Pavement”. Many of Lexi’s songs are reflection of being a mix race of Cuban-born father and Japanese-American mother\, and her perspective through her identity… never quite fitting in\, growing up in suburban southern California. The group ended their set with their first single\, “Spring”\, which they jokingly hoped that Minnesota could one day enjoy (it’s been an absolutely miserably cold spring).”\nfrown line (the indie rock project of Montreal-based Annika Devlin) to open.\nTour dates\n\nSep 2\, 2026 Polaris Hall Portland\, OR\nSep 3\, 2026 Tractor Tavern Seattle\, WA\nSep 4\, 2026 WISE Hall Vancouver\, Canada\nSep 6\, 2026 Shrine Social Club Boise\, ID\nSep 7\, 2026 Kilby Court Salt Lake City\, UT\nSep 9\, 2026 Larimer Lounge Denver\, CO\nSep 10\, 2026 Rye Room @ Bourbon Theatre Lincoln\, NE\nSep 11\, 2026 Lemonade Park Kansas City\, MO\nSep 12\, 2026 7th St Entry Minneapolis\, MN\nSep 13\, 2026 Falcon Bowl Milwaukee\, WI\nSep 15\, 2026 The Pyramid Scheme Grand Rapids\, MI\nSep 16\, 2026 Lager House Detroit\, MI\nSep 17\, 2026 The Drake Underground Toronto\, ON\nSep 19\, 2026 The Drake Amherst\, MA\nSep 20\, 2026 Baby’s All Right Brooklyn\, NY\nSep 22\, 2026 SPACE Portland\, ME\nSep 23\, 2026 POP Montreal Montreal\, Canada\nDec 11\, 2026 KUTX Holiday Hootenanny Austin\, TX\nDec 18\, 2026 Pappy + Harriet’s Pioneertown\, CA\n\n \n  \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

From there she has released four albums\, two of them winning the Canadian Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year\, they being Stay Tuned from 2019 and Our Roots Run Deep in 2023. She also released her first live album this year\, Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. As she took the stage with her band\, she did something unusual but made perfect sense. She introduced her band\, saying\, “You wouldn’t go to a party and introduce people at the end of the evening.” She also asked the audience to refrain from clapping after every song. The reason was to create a flow and to help her and the band keep in the musical moment. Finally\, she said that she would mostly perform with her eyes closed\, which I imagined helped her stay in the moment.”\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The duo\, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney are out in support of 2021’s Good Things (on Warner Bros Nashville) and even had Mooney’s grandfather in the audience\, dedicating 2016’s From the Ground Up” to him. Love ballad “You” is the latest single from the new album and that was followed by a Bill Withers verse that would preface 2021’s” Lying”. Before “Give in to You”\, Smyers mentioned his wife Abby is from the Kansas City area and a huge Chiefs fan\, which instantly got the crowd on their side\, and the band ended with the chart-topping hit (that Abby even sings background on)\, “Tequila”.”\n\nThe tour will feature support from Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross.\n\n\nTour Dates:\n\n\n\nFri Sep 11 – Noblesville\, IN – Ruoff Music Center^*Sat Sep 12 – Tinley Park\, IL – Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre^*\nSun Sep 13 – Shakopee\, MN – Mystic Lake Amphitheater^*Thu Sep 17 – Wantagh\, NY – Northwell at Jones Beach Theater^*\nFri Sep 18 – Gilford\, NH – BankNH Pavilion^*\nSat Sep 19 – Mansfield\, MA – Xfinity Center^*Thu Sep 24 – Holmdel\, NJ – PNC Bank Arts Center^*\nFri Sep 25 – Syracuse\, NY – Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview^*\nSat Sep 26 – Uncasville\, CT – Mohegan Sun Arena*Thu Oct 01 – Toronto\, ON – RBC Amphitheatre^\nFri Oct 02 – Grand Rapids\, MI – Acrisure Amphitheater^*\nSat Oct 03 – Clarkston\, MI – Pine Knob Music Theatre^*Thu Oct 08 – Columbus\, OH – Schottenstein Center^*\nFri Oct 09 – Pittsburgh\, PA – PPG Paints Arena^*\nSat Oct 10 – Philadelphia\, PA – TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann^*Thu Oct 15 – Alpharetta\, GA – Ameris Bank Amphitheatre^*\nFri Oct 16 – Tampa\, FL – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre^*\nSat Oct 17 – West Palm Beach\, FL – iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre^*Thu Oct 22 – Dallas\, TX – Dos Equis Pavilion^*\nFri Oct 23 – Rogers\, AR – Walmart AMP^*\nSat Oct 24 – St. Louis\, MO – Hollywood Casino Amphitheater^*Thu Oct 29 – Denver\, CO – Ball Arena^*\nFri Oct 30 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Delta Center^*Thu Nov 05 – Phoenix\, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre^*\nFri Nov 06 – Anaheim\, CA – Honda Center^*\nSat Nov 07 – Mountain View\, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre^* \n^with Tyler Hubbard\n*with Josh Ross\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

Sometime singers release solo albums because of ego or control … but based on hearing Flowers’ brand of music (accompanied by a full backing back\, a horns section\, and two dedicated backup soul singer)\, I can tell you that he needed to release his music under his own name\, because these uplifting songs did not seem to belong on a typical Killers album… Although the second half of his set consisted of plenty of The Killers songs\, which kept the fans very happy\, clapping\, and singing along. My favorite moment of his set was for the brand new intro song\, “Come Out With Me”\, which Flowers personalized to Minneapolis by adding “Stone Arch Bridge”\, “Saint Paul” and “Mill City Nights” to the song.”\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Frankie Rose at Cloudland Theater (Sep 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Frankie Rose announces a full North American tour\, with most dates supporting The Charlatans UK\, as well as two headline shows in Los Angeles and Minneapolis. The tour kicks off Sept. 5 in San Diego at the House of Blues. Frankie’s new album Hila is due Sept. 18. \n***\nHila. A record about loss. What persists beyond the range of ordinary perception? The place mourning keeps returning to — not quite transcendence\, not quite doubt. The edge of what we can see.”\nFrankie Rose has spent fifteen years building one of the most quietly distinctive bodies of work in American independent music. Bursting out of the shackles of her legacy on 2023’s Love As Projection\, 2026’s Hila builds on the muscular\, dance-ready songwriting and transcendent melodies to result on Rose’s most exploratory and affecting record of her career. Imbued with yearning melodies and brooding post-punk dynamics\, Hila is Frankie Rose at her most impressionistic and expansive. \nSelf-produced at her home studio featuring collaborations with drummer Justin Welch (Elastica/Lush)\, Hila was recorded following extensive touring with The Jesus & Mary Chain and Swervedriver. The result is the most confident\, searching music Rose has produced; muscular in its production yet emotionally vulnerable in its diffracted neon glow. A record informed by loss and the way grief mutates our senses\, it’s fitting that Rose channels the nuanced darkness of later Coil\, at times the pounding EBM-production of Skinny Puppy and the near-spiritual alien-ness of Cocteau Twins. On Hila\, the doors of perception are constantly melting\, revealing the porous nature of the seen and unseen. The result is a synesthesia that flips the senses. \nIf Love As Projection was an outward-looking record looking to embrace the world\, Hila brings the dark cosmos into inner space. Rose’s love for 80s production and soaring melodies remain\, they’re cornerstones to her craft after all\, but there’s something more assured and gothic underneath the massive waves of sound. Opener “Olo” shimmers into a pulsating\, cinematic brooder\, Rose’s vocal transcending and swan diving between registers in the chorus breakdowns. First single “Cant Be Wrong” serves as a transition from the optimistic pop of Rose’s previous album\, introducing a thumping 80s funk rhythm track under the soaring vocal performance. The ebullient “Shadow Twin” is that song’s sibling\, recalling major label-era Strawberry Switchblade melancholy mixed with Robin Guthrie’s twinkling guitar work.\nHila blossoms darkly from here on in\, blowing out into a glacial wide-screen sonic dynamic. On “Rainman” and the title track\, the listener is transported to a rain-soaked\, nocturnal cityscape ridden with desire\, moonlight cutting through blinds\, intoxicating chasms without bounds. Rose’s use of saxophone and digital synthesis recalls the nightmusic of Hats-era Blue Nile or the more ambient end of Emeralds’ catalog. Indeed\, in the towering synthetic cello sounds that climb into the mind on Hila\, there’s a distinct flavour of the instrumentals on Bowie’s Low. This is musick to play in the dark\, to light the way a little\, just enough to trick the senses.\nLeading into the strobe-filled haze\, single “Manifest” pounds forward with a massive Industrial 4/4 beat and post-punk/goth musicality\, an exercise in unlit ecstasy. For “Best Of Times\,” the liberal saxophone passages feel like a suppressed\, 80s Michael Mann soundtrack with Frankie Rose’s effortless\, melodic vocal performance probing\, searching for connection. Navigating through the dry\, iced landscape into a rising sun\, closer “Velvet Refrain” flips the melancholy of the preceding passages. With a massive sound dripping with harmony\, the clanging guitar and vocal duet feels they’re sound-tracking an unexpected happy ending after bouts of darkness.” \nTOUR DATES \nSep-5 San Diego CA House of Blues *\nSep-6 Los Angeles CA Zebulon\nSep-7 San Francisco CA Castro Theater *\nSep-10 Portland OR Wonder Ballroom *\nSep-11 Vancouver BC Commodore Ballroom *\nSep-12 Seattle WA The Showbox *\nSep-15 Minneapolis MN Cloudland Theater\nSep-17 Chicago IL Park West *\nSep-19 Detroit MI El Club *\nSep-20 Toronto ON Danforth Music Hall *\nSep-21 Montreal QC Fairmont Theatre *\nSep-22 Boston MA The Paradise Rock Club *\nSep-23 Philadelphia PA Union Transfer *\nSep-25 Silver Spring MD The Fillmore Silver Spring *\nSep-26 Brooklyn NY Brooklyn Steel * \n*=w/ The Charlatans UK \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: BAILEN at Turf Club (Sep 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:BAILEN at Turf Club (Sep 15\, 2026)\n\nSeptember 15\, 2026 Tuesday\n BAILEN\nat Turf Club\nfirst-avenue.com\nSibling band Bailen (Julia\, Daniel\, and David) returns to Minnesota\, playing the Turf Club\, in St Paul\, on September 15\, 2026.\n\n \n\nWe saw Bailen in June 2019 and wrote\, “Opening up the show was sibling band Bailen\, featuring Julia\, Daniel\, and David Bailen. There’s a certain homemade charm about them\, as we discovered the first time we encountered the trio with Joseph in Sep 2017. The NYC group recently released their debut album Thrilled To Be Here (Fantasy Records)\, and they were literally thrilled to be playing some choice cuts from the record like “Something Tells Me”\, “I Was Wrong”\, and the rousing foot-stomper “Not Gonna Take Me”. Before “Stray Dog”\, Daniel said that it was nice to be back in the city (headlining the 7th Street Entry on 25 February 2019)\, but admitted that they didn’t miss the “negative 28 degrees”. For their self-admitted most pop song\, “Going On A Feeling”\, the group joked that they needed to turn on the auto-tune machine in the back. They closed out their 35-min set with the harmonizing “25 For The Last Time”.”\n \n  \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Sondre Lerche at The Cedar (Sep 16\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Sondre Lerche released “Follow The River\,” the second single to be released from his forthcoming album Acrobats that arrives on August 21 via PLZ/Virgin. The song is a flamboyant dance pop-odyssey that clocks in at more than 9 minutes on the sprawling album version\, with a compact 4-minute version also released today. \nEach of the song’s six verses zoom in on the profound and mundane details of two lost dreamers meeting and falling in love through music. In contrast to the remainder of Lerche’s forthcoming album\, “Follow The River” is unashamedly upbeat and optimistic\, as illustrated by singer Suzanne Sumbundu’s rousing gospel style choir and adlibs. The recording contains many musical easter eggs and nods to everyone from Pet Shop Boys and Mahler to Janet Jackson and Steve Reich\, and features what is perhaps Lerche’s most natural and simplistic chorus so far in his ever-expanding catalogue. \nAbout the song\, Lerche explains\, “‘Follow The River’ started life as a small\, simple song when I wrote it at home on my acoustic guitar. But with each verse the story grew into a flamboyant dance pop-odyssey\, 9 minutes long in its sprawling album version. By the end of it I had to call in my friend singer Suzanne Sumbundu to provide a rousing gospel style choir and adlibs.” \nThe new single follows the release of “Little Kids\,” which features vivid string arrangements by Sean O’Hagan (High Llamas) and performed by the Stockholm Studio Orchestra\, who recently played on Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl. Stereogum praised the “lush and memory-drunk song about young love\,” that arrived alongside an “evocative” official video directed by rising Norwegian filmmaker Lea Meyer. \nHis first full-length album of new material in over four years\, Acrobats is a bold\, bombastic and emotionally expansive collection that wrestles with finding love while in times of soulless global unrest and unfathomable human atrocities. Across the eight-song suite\, Lerche moves between joy and introspection\, exploring love not as an escape from reality\, but as a way of confronting it. \n“There’s a dissonance between the increasingly dystopian world we live in and finding beauty and peace in your private life\,” Lerche explains. “It feels almost like a paradox that I’m blessed to have landed in a life and a love that is very meaningful and true. And\, at the same time\, it feels impossible to write a love song without taking into account the unspeakable things that are happening in the world. Falling in love feels more and more like an act of defiance.” \nLerche will celebrate the release of Acrobats with a US tour that will kick off on September 10 in Boston MA\, followed by performances in Washington\, D.C.\, New York\, Chicago\, San Francisco\, Los Angeles\, Seattle and more. SUMMARY:Mpls: The Charlatans at Fine Line (Sep 16\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Charlatans at Fine Line (Sep 16\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 16\, 2026 Wednesday\n The Charlatans UK\nwith Frankie Roseat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nFormer Manchester’s The Charlatans (billed as The Charlatans UK for the USA market) have announced the North American leg of their tour\, which includes a stop at the Fine Line\, in Minneapolis\, on September 16\, 2026.\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n \n\n The Charlatans at First Avenue\, Minneapolis (09 Feb 2023) \n\n\nWe saw The Charlatans in Feb 2023 and noted\, “When The Charlatans took First Avenue’s stage\, you can clearly tell that singer Tim Burgess was having a blast! He’s video-taping the audience with his phone\, he constantly had a massive smile on his face (see special vuart)\, he’s overly animated\, he’s doing his funky hand-wheeling dance\, he’s inciting the audience to clap… it’s like Tim just stepped out a beach college and he’s going to teach us how to have fun. Looking at the setlist\, you can see that the band left the song Subtitle off their setlist. I’m not entirely sure why they decided to do this\, perhaps it was done for creative reasons… much like how the song The End of Everything was moved to the end of the song order.”\n\n\nFrankie Rose to open. We previously mentioned the former Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls member earlier this month talking about her new album Hila (available September 18\, 2026\, via Born Losers / Night School). \n\n Frankie Rose \n\nWe saw Frankie Rose\, with JAMC\, in Oct 2024 and wrote\, “We’ve seen Rose many times\, with the first at 7th Street Entry in April 2012\, then as Franz Ferdinand guest at the Skyway Theatre in Oct 2013\, and\, most recently at the Turf Club in May 2023: “And it has been over six years since she last released an album. She actually completed one close to three years ago\, but due to the pandemic and being a victim to vinyl production backlogs\, she is finally on the road promoting Love as Projection\, which The Big Takeover Magazine thought could be part of the Stranger Things soundtrack. It is a retro love letter to the type of electronic pop that would find a home in any John Hughes movie.” Rose is joined by a guitarist and bassist\, the latter is Matthew Hord of Running\, Fine Place\, and Gift Horse. Since Frankie Rose’s latest is called Love As Projection\, the band did play in near-darkness in front of a projection (a similar setup from her previous appearance). In addition to playing some tracks from the new album (“DOA” and “Sixteen Ways”)\, the band also played a few from their debut album\, Interstellar\, which got an extended reissue in September 2024.”\n\n\n\nTHE CHARLATANS UK – 2026 TOUR\n\n\n\nAUGUST\n29 – Wellingborough\, UK – Roseshire Festival † \nSEPTEMBER\n3 – Santa Ana\, CA – The Observatory ^\n4 – Los Angeles\, CA – Hollywood Palladium ^\n5 – San Diego\, CA – House of Blues\n7 – San Francisco\, CA – The Castro Theatre\n10 – Portland\, OR – Wonder Ballroom\n11 – Vancouver\, BC – Commodore Ballroom\n12 – Seattle\, WA – The Showbox\n16 – Minneapolis\, MN – Fine Line\n17 – Chicago\, IL – Park West\n19 – Detroit\, MI – El Club\n20 – Toronto\, ON – Danforth Music Hall\n21 – Montreal\, QC – Fairmount Theatre\n22 – Boston\, MA – Paradise Rock Club\n23 – Philadelphia\, PA – Union Transfer\n25 – Silver Spring\, MD – The Fillmore Silver Spring\n26 – Brooklyn\, NY – Brooklyn Steel \n† Festival Appearance\n^ w/ The Dandy Warhols and Special Guests TBA \n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Yard Act at Fine Line (Sep 17\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Yard Act at Fine Line (Sep 17\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 17\, 2026 Thursday Yard Act\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nYard Act is returning to Minneapolis\, play the Fine Line on September 17\, 2026. We’ve seen them twice\, and they say that they lose a lot of money when they play the USA\, but it’s worth it to them: they love America.\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n \n \n\n\nWe last saw the band in Oct 2024 and wrote\, “Stemming all the way from Leeds\, England\, the wild bunch Yard Act have had quite the success in recent years… touring all over Europe with Jack White\, playing one of their biggest singles with Sir Elton John from their 2022 debut album The Overload\, and playing all the biggest music festivals all over the world. I saw these guys two years ago at SXSW and really enjoyed their sets from the 2022 release. A little rawer Blur/Pulp/The Streets mix. They were one of the biggest buzz bands that year\, thanks to their hit album. They were arena ready for all the big football diehards. The music video for that hit is quite epic. Getting in just a couple hours before the show started\, they cut right to the chase from their long US tour. They had two female dancer/singers and have added a saxophonist to their new core and touring act. Throughout the first half of the set\, they played mostly tracks from the new 2024 release Where’s my Utopia?. The lead singer is always entertaining with the crowd\, and was all over the stage as always.”\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Iron Maiden at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Sep 19\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Iron Maiden at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Sep 19\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 19\, 2026 Saturday\n Iron Maiden\nwith Megadethat Mystic Lake Amphitheater\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nIron Maiden’s “Run For Your Lives” World Tour at Mystic Lake Amphitheater\, in Shakopee\, this Saturday\, September 19\, 2026.\n \n\n Iron Maiden \n\n\nWe saw Iron Maiden in June 2017 and wrote\, “After setting up the stage\, Iron Maiden (bassist Steve Harris\, guitarist Dave Murray\, guitarist Adrian Smith\, singer Bruce Dickinson\, drummer Nicko McBrain\, and guitarist Janick Gers) took the stage to 14\,000 fans screamed and stomped loudly at their idols on stage. Singer Bruce Dickinson had to addressed the crowd\, “You know\, the media still wondered how Iron Maiden can still sell out arenas… I’ll give you a reason\, 14\,000 reasons!” as he pointed to the audience. He went on to talk about the younger fans born after 1982\, “Your mother was probably getting it on to this next song.” With that said\, the band launched into their big hit song ‘Children of the Damned’. The theme of this “The Book of Souls Tour” was inspired by Maya culture\, as seen by a war painted Eddie and the Mayan temple stage design. Of course\, being an arena tour\, there were occasional fireballs… whenever they went off\, it was very impressive.” \n\nMegadeth to open.\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Chanel Beads at Turf Club (Sept 19\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Chanel Beads at Turf Club (Sept 19\, 2026)\n\nSeptember 19\, 2026 Saturday\n Chanel Beads\nwith Horse Vision and Anastasia Coope\nat Turf Club\nfirst-avenue.com\nChanel Beads is back in Minnesota\, playing the Turf Club\, in St Paul\, on September 19\, 2026.\n\n Chanel Beads \n\nWe previously saw Chanel Beads in September 2025 and wrote\, “Chanel Beads came on as the headliner. Chanel Beads is the band name for Shane Lavers\, who released the album Your Day Will Come in 2024. Coming on as a quartet (vocals\, guitar/backing vocals\, violin\, percussion/electronic music)\, Chanel Beads also went with a low lighting aesthetic\, this time with construction set light in the far back corner. The band had a long warm up number that got the crowd going. By the time Lavers started singing (with a lot of jumping and moving around the stage)\, the dynamic of the band was clear. Lavers was the high energy front man\, with Maya McGory\, the guitarist and back up vocalist\, really holding down the fort. Sonically\, this was indie rock with some electronica and shoegaze tendencies and the mix of electronic instrumentation with “normal” ones was pretty interesting. That percussion work from Tchad C actually drove a lot of the numbers\, but more as leading edge than backing support. It was a fascinating on stage dynamic and it built in some unexpected ways. With Zachary Paul introduced on violin for “a hometown show”\, Lavers took guitar duties but also handed off lead vocals to Maya McGory\, which provided a distinctly different sound.”\nHorse Vision and Anastasia Coope to open.\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Social Distortion at The Armory (September 20\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Social Distortion at The Armory (Sep 20\, 2026)\n \n\nSeptember 20\, 2026 Sunday Social Distortionwith Descendents & The Chatsat Armory armorymn.com\n\nSocial Distortion is headlining the Armory\, in Minneapolis\, on September 20\, 2026.\n\n\n Social Distortion at First Avenue\, Minneapolis (07 Aug 2015) \n\nWe saw Social D in Aug 2015 and wrote\, “Mike Ness\, the singer of Social Distortion\, looked and sounded exactly how I wanted him to. The only hint to Mike’s age (other than him announcing that he is 53) was the fact that he had his guitar tech laying out the lyric sheets to every song on the floor in front of him. He sounded like he was still a twenty something in a good old fashioned punk rock band. He looked the same as all the live footage of him I used to watch growing up. He still has his signature snarl and stance\, and a body full of tattoos. Obviously\, he looked older but he seems to be holding up like a fine wine… getting better with time. The music hasn’t changed at all. It’s still great rock n roll music with a bit of country and a bit of punk mixed in. It was about time for me to see some real guitar solos. I’ve been to so many “main stream” shows lately I had almost forgot how talented musicians can be. They didn’t let me down. It was an hour and a half long set full of energy and great music.”\n\nDescendents and The Chats to open.\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Bowling For Soup at First Avenue (Sep 21\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Bowling For Soup at First Avenue (Sep 21\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 21\, 2026 Monday\n Bowling For Soup\nwith Ballyhoo! and rosecoloredworldat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nTexas’ Bowling For Soup returns to Minnesota\, headlining First Avenue\, on September 21\, 2026.\n \n\n The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n \n \n\n Bowling for Soup \n\n\nWe saw Bowling for Soup in November 2025 and wrote\, “Walking on to their own theme song\, Bowling for Soup\, you know that’s going to be “a great day”. As previously mentioned when we saw the band in August 2025\, that Bowling for Soup’s set of songs may not be that long\, as half of it is basically Jaret Reddick doing “stand-up” comedy. Surprisingly a lot of parents and their young children was at the show\, possibly because they were fans of the Disney Channel’s animated series Phineas and Ferb (Bowling for Soup’s “Today Is Gonna Be a Great Day” is the theme song). It is weird\, but Bowling for Soup’s jokes had numerous F-bombs and very adult… not kids friendly\, like say\, Koo Koo Kanga Roo or They Might Be Giants… so I’m not sure if they were the right band for these children\, but I could be wrong. Early in the set\, Jaret made the mistake of referring to the audience as “Duval”. Like Jaret\, I don’t know what the big deal was… but all was forgiven as they launched into crowd favorites like “High School Never Ends”\, with mini-various cover songs like Toni Basil’s “Mickey”\, Slade’s “Cum on Feel the Noize” (made famous by Quiet Riot)\, and Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)” If you like goofy punk-rock\, bands who don’t take themselves too seriously\, you’ll have a fun time at a Bowling for Soup show.”\n\n\nBallyhoo! and rosecoloredworld to open.\n\nTour dates\n\n\nSeptember 12\, 2026 Vans Warped Tour Mexico City Mexico City\, MXSeptember 13\, 2026 Vans Warped Tour Mexico City Mexico City\, MXSeptember 17\, 2026 Louder Than Life Festival Louisville\, KYSeptember 18\, 2026 Elevation Grand Rapids\, MISeptember 19\, 2026 Saint Andrew’s Hall Detroit\, MISeptember 20\, 2026 Riot Fest Chicago\, ILSeptember 21\, 2026 First Avenue Minneapolis\, MNSeptember 22\, 2026 Val Air Ballroom Des Moines\, IASeptember 24\, 2026 Summit Music Hall Denver\, COSeptember 25\, 2026 The Union Salt Lake City\, UTSeptember 26\, 2026 Mesa Theater Grand Junction\, COSeptember 27\, 2026 Washington’s Fort Collins\, COSeptember 29\, 2026 State Fair of Texas Dallas\, TXOctober 28\, 2026 Eat To The Beat at EPCOT Lake Buena Vista\, FLOctober 29\, 2026 Eat To The Beat at EPCOTNovember 5\, 2026 House of Blues Houston Houston\, TXNovember 6\, 2026 Tipitina’s New Orleans\, LANovember 7\, 2026 Workplay Theatre Birmingham\, ALNovember 9\, 2026 Satellite Music Hall Memphis\, TNNovember 10\, 2026 The Signal Chattanooga\, TNNovember 12\, 2026 The Ritz Ybor Tampa\, FLNovember 14\, 2026 Vans Warped Tour Orlando Orlando\, FLNovember 15\, 2026 Revolution Live Fort Lauderdale\, FLNovember 18\, 2026 Ozark Music Hall Fayetteville\, ARNovember 19\, 2026 The Backyard Waco\, TXNovember 20\, 2026 The Aztec Theatre San Antonio\, TX \n \n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Ryan Beatty at Varsity Theater (Sep 21\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Ryan Beatty at Varsity Theater (Sep 21\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 17\, 2026 Thursday Ryan Beatty\nat Varsity Theater \nlivenation.com\n\nGRAMMY® award-winning singer/songwriter Ryan Beatty is returning to Minneapolis\, as part of his Arms Over Armor tour. He will be headlining the Varsity Theater on September 17\, 2026.\n\n Ryan Beatty at Fine Line\, Minneapolis (05 Mar 2024) \nWe last saw Beatty in Mar 2024 and wrote\, “The first time singer/songwriter Ryan Beatty was in Minneapolis\, it was at the Fine Line Music Café\, on May 5\, 2013\, when he was just 17 years old. Things were much different then\, the show started at 11am\, and he had two support acts\, Color Tab and Lizzy Herder. Now\, over a decade later\, Beatty is back at the Fine Line\, and older and wiser. Things looks different now\, he confessed. Beatty’s current 2024 tour in support of Calico didn’t have an opening band\, and the show felt more like a listening party. He sits in the middle\, with his headphone monitor and surrounded by five other musicians.”\n\nArms Over Armor North American Tour\n\n\n9th Sep — Vancouver\, BC — Vogue Theatre\n10th Sep — Seattle\, WA — Neptune Theatre\n12th Sep — San Francisco\, CA — The Masonic\n13th Sep — Los Angeles\, CA — Greek Theatre\n15th Sep — San Diego\, CA — The Observatory\n16th Sep — Phoenix\, AZ — Crescent Ballroom\n18th Sep — Salt Lake City\, UT — Depot\n19th Sep — Denver\, CO — Summit\n21st Sep — Minneapolis\, MN — Varsity Theater\n22nd Sep — Chicago\, IL — House of Blues\n25th Sep — Toronto\, ON — HISTORY\n27th Sep — Columbia\, MD — All Things Go Festival\n30th Sep — Charlotte\, NC — The Underground\n1st Oct — Nashville\, TN — Ryman Auditorium\n3rd Oct — Austin\, TX — Austin City Limits — Weekend 1\n7th Oct — Houston\, TX — White Oak Music Hall\n8th Oct — Dallas\, TX — Majestic Theatre\n10th Oct — Austin\, TX — Austin City Limits — Weekend 2\n12nd Oct — Atlanta\, GA — Buckhead Theatre\n14th Oct — Philadelphia\, PA — Theatre of Living Arts\n16th Oct — Boston\, MA — House of Blues\n17th Oct — Brooklyn\, NY — Brooklyn Paramount \nArms Over Armor UK & Europe Tour \n25th Oct — Dublin\, IE — Academy Green Room\n28th Oct — Amsterdam\, NL — Paradiso\n29th Oct — Berlin\, DE — Lido\n30th Oct — Copenhagen\, DK — Koncerthuset\, Studie 2\n1st Nov — Antwerp\, BE — Trix Club\n2nd Nov — Cologne\, DE — CBE\n3rd Nov — Paris\, FR — La Maroquinerie\n5th Nov — Glasgow\, UK — St Luke’s\n6th Nov — Manchester\, UK — Academy 2\n7th Nov — London\, UK — O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire\n \n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Brian Fallon at Varsity Theater (Sep 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Brian Fallon at Varsity Theater (Sep 22\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 22\, 2026 Tuesday\n Brian Fallon\nat Varsity Theater \nlivenation.com\n\nThe Gaslight Anthem’s frontman Brian Fallon\, billed as Brian Fallon and The Painkillers\, will be headlining the Varsity Theater\, in Minneapolis\, on September 22\, 2026. It’s funny\, but we previously saw him as: Brian Fallon & the Crowes (2016)\, Brian Fallon and The Howling Weather (2018) and now Brian Fallon and the Painkillers.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe saw Fallon in April 2018 and wrote\, “Fallon’s music has always been rooted in punk-tinged folk rock with a Jersey shore demeanor and when he first spoke after playing the first three songs\, he spoke at length- about the weather\, (the lack of) climate change\, Boston beer\, reaching middle age\, and the Gallagher brothers (among other subjects). “Did they give you a microphone up there?” he shouted back at a yelling fan in the balcony\, making it also clear that any heckling battle would be theirs to lose. After the swing of ‘Little Monsters’ (inspired by We Were Promised Jetpacks’ ‘Quiet Little Voices’) Fallon moved to the piano\, cocked his hat to the side\, and riffed on the title track from his latest\, Sleepwalkers (Island Records) before another mini-conversation with the audience\, and getting his voice more growly and gravely for a stirring Tom Waits cover. ”\n\n\nTour Dates\n\n\n\nSEPTEMBER10 — Brooklyn\, NY — Music Hall of Williamsburg11 — Woodstock\, NY — Levon Helm Studios12 — Somerville\, MA — Arts at the Armory14 — Toronto\, ON — The Opera House15 — Buffalo\, NY — Town Ballroom16 — Pittsburgh\, PA — Mr. Smalls Theatre18 — Detroit\, MI — El Club19 – Chicago\, IL – Riot Fest 2026 †20 — Milwaukee\, WI — The Rave Hall22 — Minneapolis\, MN — Varsity Theater24 — Denver\, CO — The Oriental Theater26 — Portland\, OR — The Get Down27 — Seattle\, WA — Neumos29 – San Francisco\, CA – Rickshaw Stop30 – Roseville\, CA – Goldfield Trading Post – Roseville \nOCTOBER1 — Santa Ana\, CA — Observatory Orange County3 — San Diego\, CA — Casbah4 — Phoenix\, AZ — Crescent Ballroom6 — Austin\, TX — Mohawk (Outdoor Stage)7 — Dallas\, TX — Trees9 — Atlanta\, GA — Center Stage (The Loft)10 — Carrboro\, NC — Cat’s Cradle11 — Washington\, DC — Black Cat13 — Philadelphia\, PA — World Cafe Live (Music Hall) \nNOVEMBER2 — Cologne\, DE — Live Music Hall3 — Munich\, DE — Kesselhaus4 — Berlin\, DE — Astra Kulturhaus6 — Hamburg\, DE — Fabrik7 — Antwerp\, BE — Trix Club8 — Amsterdam\, NL — Paradiso10 — London\, UK — O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire11 — Manchester\, UK — Albert Hall13 — Dublin\, IE — Olympia Theatre\n15 — Glasgow\, UK — University of Glasgow (Queen Margaret Union) \n* w/ Special Guest Emily Wolfe\n† Festival Appearance \n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Breaking Benjamin at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (September 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Breaking Benjamin at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (September 22\, 2026)\n\n\nSeptember 22\, 2026 Tuesday\n Breaking Benjamin\nwith Chevelle\, STARSET\, and Kami Kehoe\nat Mystic Lake Amphitheater \nlivenation.com\n\nHard rock giants Breaking Benjamin will headline Mystic Lake Amphitheater\, in Shakopee\, on September 22\, 2026. \n\n BREAKING BENJAMIN \n\n\nWe saw Breaking Benjamin in June 2025 and noted\, “For Pennsylvania rockers Breaking Benjamin\, they have also found themselves with BMG Records as well\, having signed a deal last October\, and releasing single\, “Awaken” (which also helped name the tour)\, their first new song in five years. A new album is expected soon and the band’s most recent full-length is 2018’s Ember\, though they did release a compilation of re-recorded songs\, Aurora\, in 2020… which comes into play later. Lights dimmed in the arena and the taped intro of 2015’s “Dark” prepared the crowd for what was to come. The curtain fell with the beginning riffs of 2015’s “Failure”- a song about the themes of resiliency\, struggle and overcoming adversity. Themes that are not only relatable to most but also sum up the band’s continued fight for sustained success over the last couple decades. On the left of singer/guitarist Ben Burnley was his younger reflection\, his mini-me\, and perhaps the version 2.0 of the band’s future – his ten-year-old son Ben IV\, aka “Cheech”\, who sang and played guitar at his dad’s side for the duration of the show (so\, that’s one extra person ID’d\, but there was still another….?).”\n\n\nChevelle\, STARSET\, and Kami Kehoe to open.\n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
