Their fanbase here is incredible\, and they just love the audience (which were mostly young college-bound or college students). There is something hopelessly romantic about the Paper Kites’ songs that speaks to their fans. In fact\, singer Sam Bentley said that they filmed two music videos in Minneapolis\, which would make them “practically Minnesotans”. They had enough songs to make for a full set from their two albums States and twelvefour\, and that meant no cover songs. They took out the banjo to play two songs\, starting with ‘Bloom’\, followed by ‘St Clarity’\, both songs were incredibly well-received. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n\n Ray Bull \n\n\nWe saw Ray Bull in March 2025 and said\, “Ray Bull have quite a huge following\, with only a handful of music releases\, including their latest\, Little Acts of Violence. It’s funny\, but their marketing is a little ironic\, with their merchandise saying they “suck” or are “terrible.” Even their concert lighting was dimly lit\, except for the three bright scrolling text that they setup. All this tells me that they are somewhat shy and reluctant to embrace their stardom\, even though their fans are very passionate about their music. With such a good turnout\, the band joked that they must follow the Ray Bull rule – that attendance is arranged by height. “If you’re tall and came here with someone\, too bad\, you need to go back… tall can’t go forward!” It got a bit of a laugh\, but I believe it does come from a personal feeling from Tucker (the shorter of the two).
