DESCRIPTION:Die Spitz\n\nAll-girls Die Spitz semi-recently shared their single and video for “American Porn”\, taken from their debut album Something to Consume (Third Man Records).\n\n          Die Spitz       \n\n\nThe band is currently on tour\, and will headline First Avenue\, in Minneapolis\, on November 6.  We caught the band in July 2026 and wrote: “Prompt and ready\, the members of Die Spitz were ready to go. But at 3:00 PM they sauntered off stage. Luckily\, at 3:01 they came back on with only a minute delay.  Halter even did an impressive handstand before picking up her bass. But it was apparent through the first few songs that the band was having technically difficulties.  Schrobilgen and Livingston forged ahead even though Schrobilgen’s mic wasn’t turned on and Livingston’s ear piece was malfunctioning.  For fun\, Livingston went into the pit with the photographers and caused a frenzy as they scattered around her to get an Instagramable shot.  But the frenzy wasn’t only in the camera pit as a giant wave of bodies began to form a mosh pit as the band charged through songs like American Porn\, Grip and My Hot Piss.  Then a sea of body surfers rose from the crowd and were pushed to the front of the stage like sacrificial offerings. DESCRIPTION:She’s Green at Varsity Theater (Nov 6\, 2026)\n\n\nNovember 6\, 2026 Friday\n she’s green\nwith Witches Exist\, Starling\, and Berzicaat Varsity Theater\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nOur favorite Minneapolis shoegazing band she’s green  is closing out their headlining swallowtail tour at the Varsity Theater\, in Dinky Town\, on Friday\, November 6\, 2026.\n\n\n              \n\nWe saw She’s Green  in July 2026 and wrote: “We are big fans of she’s green\, catching them on more than a few occasions\, last seeing them at the Fine Line in August\, 2025\, remarking that they are dreamy shoegaze at its very best. I totally agree.  At its worst\, shoegaze can become a self-indulgent exercise. But this band seems to be completely attuned to each other and especially to Zofia Smith’s ethereal voice.  There is a natural\, organic beauty created by Liam Armstrong and Rains Lucas on guitar\, Teddy Nordvold on bass and Kevin Seebeck on drums.  she’s green has  just released a new album\, swallowtail\,  and Smith said they were going to try to perform “keeper” which she said they only played one other time in public.  At this admission Seebeck did the sign of the cross with drumsticks in hand.  But there was no reason to worry.  This is a band that continues to create music that continues to generate praise.
