The band broke through the mainstream in 2003 with their debut album Fallen (selling over 17 million copies worldwide)\, and recently the band’s single\, “Afterlife” from the Netflix series\, Devil May Cry\, got over 20 million streams and over 10 million views on YouTube in just the first few weeks. “Afterlife” is the fastest-moving single of the band’s career. \n  \nNext is Poppy the strange pop/metal\, weird singer. \n  \n\n \nPoppy at First Avenue (Sep 07\, 2023)\n\n\nWe saw her in Sep 2023 and said\, “What is there to say about Poppy? Well\, she is no shrinking violet. In the “BLOODMONEY” video she slams and throws quite a few extras/dancers with a series of dance/martial art moves. She is also an evolving performance act born out of the fertile mind of Moriah Rose Pereia who first made a name for herself by creating a popular YouTube channel that PoppyTV\, which the producer\, Corey Michael Mixter\, aka Titanic Sinclar\, described as “… a combination of Andy Warhol’s pop accessibility\, David Lynch’s creepiness and Tim Burton’s zany comedic tone.”” \n  \n\n \nDorothy at Varsity Theater (May 2\, 2022)\n\n\nDorothy Martin\, aka Dorothy\, is on the bill. We saw her in May 2022 and said\, “American rock band Dorothy closed out the show. The band features vocalist Dorothy Martin\, drummer Jason Ganberg\, guitarists Devon Pangle and Eli Wulfmeier\, and bassist Eliot Lorango. They became famous when Rolling Stone said this is a band “you need to know”\, ranking them #14 on their 50 Best New Artists of 2014.” \n  \nFinally we have Black Map\, featuring Ben Flanagan\, Mark Engles\, and Chris Robyn. The trio fuses post-hardcore\, alt-rock\, and hard rock … which is the perfect sound for this 93x show. \n  \n\nPOPPY Tour Dates: \n\n  \n\n\nSEP 14 — Grand Rapids\, MI @ GLC Live at 20 Monroe\nSEP 15 — Indianapolis\, IN @ Egyptian Room at Old National Centre\nSEP 18 — Milwaukee\, WI @ Fiserv Forum | 102.9 Hog Havoc\nSEP 19 — St. Paul\, MN @ Xcel Energy Center | 93X Family Reunion\nSEP 21 — West Des Moines @ Val Air Ballroom\nSEP 22 — Tulsa\, OK @ Cains Ballroom\nSEP 23 — Kansas City\, MO @ Uptown Theater\nSEP 25 — Albuquerque\, MN @ Revel\nSEP 27 — Anaheim\, CA @ House of Blues Anaheim\nSEP 28 — Ventura\, CA @ Majestic Ventura Theatre\nSEP 30 — San Diego\, CA @ The Observatory North Park\nOCT 2 — Las Vegas\, NV @ House of Blues Las Vegas\nOCT 4 — El Paso\, TX @ Southwest University Park | KLAQ Rocks The Park\nOCT 6 — Dallas\, TX @ House of Blues – Dallas\nOCT 11 — Mexico City @ Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú^\nOCT 12 — Mexico City @ Auditorio Blackberry\n*Supporting Evanescence\n^Supporting Avenged Sevenfold\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

He urged fans to live and experience the moment through their own eyes\, not through a tiny cell phone screen\, and unite to have one last song’s length collective party\, before the band would say ‘good night’ and most did oblige- pogo-ing in place\, hands in the air\, and singing along.” \nMark Daly to open. \nDREAMS ON TOAST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES: \n\n\n8/29 Pryor\, OK Rocklahoma*\n8/30 Saint Louis\, MO The Pageant\n8/31 Nashville\, TN Brooklyn Bowl\n9/2 Atlanta\, GA Masquerade – Heaven Stage\n9/3 Huntsville\, AL Von Braun Center – Mars Music Hall\n9/5 Norfolk\, VA The NorVa\n9/6 Richmond\, VA The National\n9/7 Washington\, DC Lincoln Theatre\n9/9 Allentown\, PA Archer Music Hall\n9/10 New York\, NY Irving Plaza\n9/12 Toronto\, ON Phoenix Concert Theatre\n9/13 Kitchener\, ON Elements\n9/14 Montréal\, QC Club Soda\n9/16 Indianapolis\, IN Egyptian Room at Old National Centre\n9/17 Detroit\, MI Saint Andrew’s Hall\n9/19 Minneapolis\, MN Varsity Theater\n9/20 Milwaukee\, WI The Rave/Eagles Club – The Rave Hall\n9/21 Cleveland\, OH Agora Theatre and Ballroom\n11/7 Houston\, TX Warehouse Live Midtown\n11/8 Austin\, TX Emo’s\n11/9 Dallas\, TX The Echo Lounge & Music Hall\n11/12 Los Angeles\, CA The Wiltern\n11/13 San Francisco\, CA The Fillmore\n11/15 Boise\, ID Knitting Factory Concert House\n11/17 Portland\, OR Revolution Hall\n11/18 Vancouver\, BC Commodore Ballroom\n11/19 Seattle\, WA The Showbox\n11/21 Salt Lake City\, UT The Depot\n11/22 Denver\, CO Summit Music Hall\n*festival show\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Hannah Cohen at 7th St Entry
DESCRIPTION:September 17\, 2025 Wednesday\nHannah Cohen\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com\n \nCatskills-based singer/songerwriter Hannah Cohen is returning to the 7th Street Entry\, on September 17\, 2025. It appears that this was her day off with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats\, so she decided to book and headline the 7th Street Entry.  Cohen’s critically acclaimed album Earthstar Mountain is out now on Bella Union / Congrats Records.\n \nWe saw Hannah Cohen in July 2019 and wrote\, “New York singer-songwriter Hannah Cohen opened the show. Cohen said this wasn’t her first time in the Minneapolis area\, however this was the first time that she got to play her own music. This suggest that she was part of another band or touring session musician. She didn’t volunteer what band or who she played for\, but she did mention that she ate a lot of tacos prior to going on stage.\nAs you can see from her setlist\, all the songs were taken from her Welcome Home album\, which came out April 26\, via Bella Union. Due to some error\, she actually didn’t have the new album with her on tour.”\nTour Dates: \n\n\n9/12/25 – Chicago\, IL – Sound & Gravity Festival\n9/13/25 – Columbus\, OH – Columbus Commons Bicentennial Stage *\n9/16/25 – Des Moines\, IA – Val Air Ballroom *\n9/17/25 – Minneapolis\, MN – 7th Street Entry\n9/18/25 – Madison\, WI – Breese Stephens Field *\n9/19/25 – Moline\, IL – Vibrant Arena *\n9/20/25 – Urbana\, IL – Pygmalion\n9/23/25 – Omaha\, NE – Council Bluffs *\n9/24/25 – Kansas City\, MO – Starlight Amphitheater *\n9/25/25 – Oklahoma City\, OK – Zoo Amphitheater *\n9/26/25 – Taos\, NM – Kit Carson Park *\n9/29/25 – Phoenix\, AZ – Arizona Financial Theatre *\n9/30/25 – San Diego\, CA – Gallagher Square *\n10/2/25 – Santa Barbara\, CA – Santa Barbara Bowl*\n* w/ Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:The Plot In You at FIVE
DESCRIPTION:Sep 17\, 2025 Wednesday\nThe Plot In You\nwith Windwaker\, Northlane\, and Invent Animate\nat FIVE\nfivejax.com\n\n\nThe Plot In You will be headlining at FIVE\, in Jacksonville\, Florida\, on September 17\, 2025. \nWe saw The Plot in You in July 2016 and wrote\, “The Plot In You was the headliner of the show last night. I was more than let down when I saw them open up for Miss May I and Blessthefall back in March. I was disappointed but promised myself that I would give them another chance. Last night was their second chance and they killed it. They came out and owned that stage. Even though the crowd had been active for hours at this point\, they didn’t slow down. The crowd got even more intense as The Plot In You hammered through their brutal set. The music\, although brutal\, was beyond clean and exactly what I needed it to be in order for this band to get back into my good graces. The band members seemed more than appreciate of the crowd and the fact that\, even though they were the last band to play on a six band line-up\, people were still having fun and moving around.” \nWindwaker\, Northlane\, and Invent Animate to open. \nWe saw Northlane headlined the Granada Theater in July 2024 and mentioned\, “Sydney progressive aggressors Northlane would close the evening\, the band as mentioned out in support of their new Mirror’s Edge EP and latest melodic single\, “Afterimage” (featuring Irish singer Ian Kenny) which was performed late in their set\, with guest live vocals complimentary of Thornhill’s Charlton. Previous single\, “Miasma” with guest assist from Parkway Drive’s Winston McCall also made into the setlist\, played early on.” \nTour dates \n\n\nSEP 5 The Strand Ballroom & Theatre Providence\, RI\nSEP 6 Toyota Oakdale Theatre Wallingford\, CT\nSEP 7 Starland Ballroom Sayreville\, NJ\nSEP 9 Piere’s Fort Wayne\, IN\nSEP 10 The Rave / Eagles Club Milwaukee\, WI\nSEP 11 The Midland Theatre Kansas City\, MO\nSEP 13 Diamond Ballroom Oklahoma City\, OK\nSEP 14 Ozark Music Hall Fayetteville\, AR\nSEP 16 Jannus Live St Petersburg\, FL\nSEP 17 FIVE Jacksonville\, FL\nSEP 18 Mars Music Hall Huntsville\, AL\nSEP 18 Louder Than Life 2025 Louisville\, KY\nSEP 23 Lenovo Center Raleigh\, NC\nSEP 24 State Farm Arena Atlanta\, GA\nSEP 26 Toyota Center Houston\, TX\nSEP 27 American Airlines Center Dallas\, TX\nSEP 29 Ball Arena Denver\, CO\nSEP 30 Maverik Center West Valley City\, UT\nOCT 2 PHX Arena Phoenix\, AZ\nOCT 2 Aftershock 2025 Sacramento\, CA\nOCT 3 Intuit Dome Inglewood\, CA\nOCT 5 Aftershock 2025 West Sacramento Trailer Park\, CA\nOCT 17 Pearl Concert Theater Las Vegas\, NV\nOCT 18 When We Were Young 2025 Las Vegas\, NV\n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

DESCRIPTION: \nSeptember 17\, 2025 Wednesday\nThe Baseball Project\n ft. members of R.E.M. and The Dream Syndicate\nwith The Minus 5\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n \nIf you love REM\, The Dream Syndicate\, the Minus 5\, and baseball… then you need to see The Baseball Project at the Fine Line\, on September 17\, 2025.\n\nThe band sold out their show the last time they were here in July 2024\, so it’s highly recommended that you buy your tickets early: “The last time the band went on tour\, post-pandemic in 2023\, they didn’t stop in the area\, band leader Steve Wynn explained at the Saturday night show\, “We did a run of dates\, but couldn’t fit in the Twin Cities…” but they made sure Minneapolis/St Paul was one of their 2024 stops. The band played two sets\, the first was their standard Grand Salami Time set\, and the second was looser with some old favorites and oddities. What made the Turf Club show on Saturday night so special was that Zuzu’s Petals was re-united to pay tribute and honor Laurie Lindeen\, who passed away on July 1\, 2024.” \nTour dates: \n\n\n9/10 @ Intuition Ale Works\, Jacksonville\, FL\n9/11 @ Saturn\, Birmingham\, AL\n9/12 @ 40 Watt Club\, Athens\, GA\n9/14 @ Bourbon & Beyond Festival\, Louisville\, KY\n9/16 @ Codfish Hollow Barnstormers\, Maquoketa\, IA\n9/17 @ Fine Line\, Minneapolis\, MN\n9/18 @ Thalia Hall\, Chicago\, IL\n9/19 @ Bell’s Eccentric Café\, Kalamazoo\, MI\n9/20 @ Mr. Small’s Theatre\, Millvale\, PA\n9/21 @ White Eagle Hall\, Jersey City\, NJ\n9/23 @ Crystal Ballroom\, Somerville\, MA\n9/24 @ MilkBoy\, Philadelphia\, PA\n9/25 @ The Hamilton\, Washington\, DC\n9/26 @ The Broadberry\, Richmond\, VA\n9/27 @ Cat’s Cradle\, Carrboro\, NC\n9/28 @ Mountain Stage\, WV\n9/30 @ Terminal West\, Atlanta\, GA\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The duo’s latest\, The Rubber Teeth Talk\, came out last month on S-Curve Records. \nWe caught Daisy the Great in Apr 2023 and said\, “Despite the snow\, Daisy the Great drew in quite the crowd. Everyone on the dancefloor were already super dedicated fans\, knowing all the songs and have kept up with the duo’s misadventures on their tour. SUMMARY:Steven Wilson at Orpheum Theatre
DESCRIPTION:September 16 Tuesday \nSteven Wilson\nat Orpheum Theatre\nhennepinarts.org \n\nMusician\, producer\, spatial audio innovator and frontman of Porcupine Tree\, Steven Wilson has pushed the boundaries between expansive rock music and visionary electronic sound. \nWilson’s recent eighth solo album ‘The Overview’ and accompanying tour promises to transport you to space with live audio visual escapism. The six-time-Grammy Award-nominated musician\, songwriter and producer make his first full-band solo headline run in North America for the first time in over seven years. You’ll also get the chance to hear tracks from previous album ‘The Harmony Codex’ played live for the first time. \nThe 42-minute new album is comprised of just two epic tracks\, “Objects Outlive Us” and “The Overview”\, each made up of distinctive musical sections that flow from one to the next\, playing out as unique and continuous pieces. Once again\, Wilson’s resolutely expansive music incorporates everything from glistening electronics to post-rock and beyond\, pushing forward the singular sound and vision that has long defined his ambitious body of work for more than three decades. \nTour Dates \n\n\nSep 17 Auditorium Theatre Chicago\, IL\nSep 19 The Fillmore Detroit\, MI\nSep 20 MGM Northfield Park Northfield\, OH\nSep 22 The Danforth Music Hall Toronto\, ON\nSep 23 The Danforth Music Hall Toronto\, ON\nSep 25 MTELUS Montreal\, QC\nSep 26 MTELUS Montreal\, QC\nSep 27 Theatre Capitole Québec City\, Canada\nSep 29 The Shubert Theatre Boston\, MA\nSep 30 The Capitol Theatre Port Chester\, NY\nOct 2 Brooklyn Paramount Theater New York\, NY\nOct 4 The Fillmore Philadelphia\, PA\nOct 5 The Fillmore Philadelphia\, PA\nOct 7 Warner Theatre Washington\, DC\nOct 8 The Carolina Theatre Durham\, NC\nOct 9 Tabernacle Atlanta\, GA\nOct 11 Majestic Theatre Dallas\, TX\nOct 13 Auditorio Telmex Guadalajara\, Mexico\nOct 14 Pepsi Center WTC Mexico City\, CDMX\nOct 17 Tokio Marine Hall São Paulo\, Brazil\nOct 19 Movistar Arena Santiago\, Chile\nNov 2 Venue TBA Mumbai\, India\nNov 5 Venue TBA Delhi\, India\nNov 7 Venue TBA Kolkata\, India\nNov 9 Venue TBA Bengaluru\, India\nNov 12 Astor Theatre Perth\, Australia\nNov 13 Her Majesty’s Theatre Adelaide\, Australia\nNov 15 Forum Theatre Melbourne\, Australia\nNov 16 ICC Darling Harbour Sydney\, Australia\nNov 17 QPAC Concert Hall Brisbane\, Australia\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Get Back: Rooftop Rewind at Graze Food Hall by Travail
DESCRIPTION:Sep 14\, 2025 Sunday \nGet Back: Rooftop Rewind\nat Graze Food Hall by Travail\ngrazenorthloop.com \n\n\nBefore The Beatles remastered all their albums and re-released them in 09/09/2009\, and then digital (on iTunes) in 2010… I got my hands on The Beatles’ infamous rooftop concert bootleg. That was an unofficial recording of the band’s final public concert performance on January 30th\, 1969. \n\nFor the Get Back: Rooftop Rewind event on September 14\, 2025\, at Graze Food Hall by Travail\, they hope to recreate and reimagine the Beatles’ final concert with the Beatles cover band Dig a Pony Club (led by Al Church). Let’s hope they don’t recreate everything\, as the original concert was ended early when police arrived and shut down the whole thing due to noise complaints! \n\nAlthough the show is free to the public\, you can pay for VIP Backstage Pass of $100\, which includes various perks like valet parking and drink tokens\, etc. \n\nAlso\, there’ll be a record swap: \nBring your favorite records\, discover new gems\, and trade with fellow music lovers. Whether you’re looking to complete your Beatles collection\, swap that duplicate you’ve been holding onto\, or just browse the crates\, our rooftop vinyl swap is all about sharing music\, stories\, and good vibes.
