SUMMARY:Jax: Gottlieb and Sophie’s Body at Jax Punx Fest\, Jacksonville (October 24\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Explore More\n■ Jax PunxJax Punx organizes the Under the Bridge concerts in Jacksonville\, Florida. Not to be confused with the Punk in Jacksonville document and archive\, also named Jax Punx\n\n\n\n Jax Punx \n\nHere’s Something for the Weekend: Jax Punx is hosting another Bridge show. It’s taking place October 24\, 2026\, headlined by Los Angeles’ Gottlieb and Boston-based quartet Sophie’s Body.\n\n\nGottlieb is touring in support of their debut album The Far Fallen Fruit (Quiet Panic). The band is known for being hardcore with post-punk and is very outspoken against police violence\, ICE\, and the billionaires.\n\n\nSophie’s Body is described as “not an emo band”. They’re led by Sophie McMinn and featuring Dylan Hughes (drums)\, Harry Van Der Meer (bass)\, and Adam Hurt (guitar)… also on tour in support of their debut album Zero (coming out October 30). Knowing very little of the band\, I get the impression that they took the band’s name from the movie Jennifer’s Body\, starring Megan Fox.\n\n\nOther acts on the bill includes False Cape and Miracle Pill.\n\n\nSophie’s Body tour dates:\n\n10/03 – Dorchester Brewing Company – Dorchester\, MA10/05 – WTBU Live Radio Session – Boston\, MA10/08 – Mr. Roboto – Pittsburgh\, PA $10/09 – Ghost Light Bar – Detroit\, MI10/10 – Cactus Club – Milwaukee\, WI10/11 – Subterranean Downstairs – Chicago\, IL10/13 – Northside Tavern – Cincinnati\, OH $10/15 – The Nick – Birmingham\, AL10/16 – The Basement – Nashville\, TN10/17 – Camp Spaceman – Louisville\, KY $10/18 – Smith’s Olde Bar (Atlanta Room) – Atlanta\, GA10/20 – Radio Room – Greenville\, SC10/22 – Pilot Light – Knoxville\, TN $10/23 – Coastal Empire Beer – Savannah\, GA $10/24 – Jax Punx Fest – Jacksonville\, FL & \n$ = Door Sales Only& = Free Event\n\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: DICE at 7th St Entry (Oct 24\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:DICE at 7th St Entry (Oct 24\, 2026)\n\n\nOctober 24\, 2026 Saturday\n DICE\nwith The Back Alleyat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nPerth’s DICE is currently on tour in support of their new album\, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View\, the tour will stop by \n\n DICE \n\n\n We saw Dice in Oct 2025 and wrote\, “DICE had a heavier rock feel as they progressed through their set\, with some really pulsating guitar work. Like the opener\, Hodge said this was their first time in Minnesota\, and really\, their first extended tour in the United States. The band clearly recognized how great this was as they have hit the mid-point of the tour. Hourglass had King letting loose on his guitar throughout the latter half. This Is Not a Love Song\, off the debut album\, had a great bass lick from Beazley and Barrett-Lennard was flying on drums again. A loud round applause for the intro to Double Espresso also had multiple people with cameras out to record the moment. As the stage went dark\, the band had a moment to reset\, then came back to it with The Search\, with a long guitar and drum intro that picked up speed as it went. Stop Sign was the last song for the night and had the band ending on a high note and inviting the audience to join them at the merch table. A quick word with the band had them talking about how exciting and crazy it was to be on this headlining US tour. The note\, “I think we’re on state 11 of 26 that we’ll get to” showed their joy at being on the road and the members of DICE were off to talk with other audience members in the happy post-concert glow.”\n\n\nThe Back Alley to open.\n\n\nTour Dates\n\n\n10/14/26 Washington\, D.C. – Union Stage10/15/26 New York\, NY – Bowery Ballroom10/16/26 Boston\, MA – Sonia Live10/17/26 Fairfield\, CT – StageOne10/18/26 Philadelphia\, PA – Johnny Brenda’s10/21/26 Columbus\, OH – Rumba Café10/22/26 Chicago\, IL – Schubas Tavern10/23/26 Madison\, WI – High Noon Saloon10/24/26 Minneapolis\, MN – 7th St Entry10/27/26 Denver\, CO – Globe Hall10/30/26 Portland\, OR – Show Bar11/1/26 Seattle\, WA – Barboza11/3/26 Sacramento\, CA – The Starlet Room @ Harlows11/4/26 San Francisco\, CA – Cafe du Nord11/5/26 Los Angeles\, CA – Venice West11/6/26 San Diego\, CA – Casbah11/7/26 Phoenix\, AZ – Last Exit Live\n\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Fruit Bats at Fine Line (Oct 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Fruit Bats at Fine Line (Oct 22\, 2026)\n\nOctober 22\, 2026 Thursday\n Fruit Bats\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\nFruit Bats (Eric D. Johnson) returns to Minnesota\, playing the Fine Line\, on October 22\, 2026.\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n \n\n Fruit Bats \n\nWe saw Fruit Bats at the Icehouse last year and said\, “It wasn’t Fruit Bats\, plural\, but just Eric D. Johnson — a man\, his guitars\, a harmonica\, and a small keyboard setup. (He mentioned that “Nathan\, in the back\, running sound” also was contributing keys and vocals — clever\, if true.) Even so\, the stripped-down format suited him. “This is going to be a little different — just one guy\, singing sad songs\, very loudly\,” he warned early on. Minneapolis’s Icehouse — perfectly sized for his bright\, tender voice — responded with near-cathedral respect and quiet. Signs around the bar politely asked for silence. “Thanks for the quiet\,” Johnson said\, “glad there’s no frozen drinks being made over at the bar.” A small mercy\, and one that kept the focus where it belonged: on his songs’ twangy melancholy and unassuming wit. (He overheard a halted “woo” during a vocal part\, and underlined that “woos” were cool and encouraged.)”\nTour Dates\n\nSep 30 – Los Angeles\, CA – Bellwether\nOct 1 – Berkeley\, CA – UC Theatre\nOct 2 – Santa Cruz\, CA – Rio Theatre\nOct 3 – Grass Valley\, CA – Center For The Arts\nOct 7 – Portland\, OR – Crystal Ballroom\nOct 9 – Seattle\, WA – Showbox SoDo\nOct 10 – Victoria\, BC – Capitol Ballroom\nOct 11 – Vancouver\, BC – Commodore\nOct 13 – Moscow\, ID – International Ballroom at University of Idaho\nOct 14 – Boise\, ID – Treefort Music Hall\nOct 15 – Missoula\, MT – The Wilma\nOct 16 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Commonwealth\nOct 17 – Denver\, CO – Mission Ballroom\nOct 20 – Lawrence\, KS – Liberty Hall\nOct 21 – Iowa City\, IA – Englert Theatre\nOct 22 – Minneapolis\, MN – Fine Line\nOct 23 – Madison\, WI – Majestic Theater\nOct 24 – Chicago\, IL – The Salt Shed\nNov 5 – Philadelphia\, PA – Union Transfer\nNov 6 – Burlington\, VT – Higher Ground Ballroom\nNov 7 – Boston\, MA – Royale\nNov 8 – Portland\, ME – State Theatre\nNov 11 – New York\, NY – Webster Hall\nNov 12 – Pittsburgh\, PA – Thunderbird\nNov 14 – Washington\, DC – 9:30 Club\nNov 15 – Carrboro\, NC – Cat’s Cradle\nNov 17 – Atlanta\, GA – Variety Playhouse\nNov 18 – Nashville\, TN – Basement East\nNov 19 – Birmingham\, AL – The Saturn\nNov 20 – New Orleans\, LA – Tipitina’s\nNov 21 – Austin\, TX – Mohawk\n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Seth Walker at Hook and Ladder (Oct 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Seth Walker\nwith Samantha Grimes \nDate Thursday\, October 22\, 2026\nDoors 7:00 PM\nRoom Theater\nAges 21+ \nSeth Walker is a revered modern Americana artist; a three dimensional talent combining a gift for melody and lyric alongside a rich\, Gospel-drenched\, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue knack for getting around on the guitar. Currently residing in Asheville after stints living in Nashville\, New Orleans and Austin\, he’s used those experiences wisely\, soaking up the sounds and absorbing the musical lineage of these varied places. \nWith a bluesman’s respect for roots and tradition\, coupled with an appreciation for contemporary songwriting\, Seth sublimely weaves a range of styles with warmth and grace. All Music declares\, “Walker is deft and elegant\, weaving together sounds and stories in a way that has a quiet\, lasting impact\,” but perhaps Country Standard Time said it best: “If you subscribe to the Big Tent theory of Americana\, then Seth Walker –with his blend of blues\, gospel\, pop\, R&B\, rock\, and a dash country—just might be your poster boy.” His latest album\, Why The Worry\, is out now. \nhttps://thehookmpls.com/shows/seth-walker-october-22-2026-731560/ \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: The Wrecks at Varsity Theater (October 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n \nThe Wrecks at Varsity Theater (October 22\, 2026)\n\nOctober 22\, 2026 Thursday\n The Wrecks\nwith Worry Club and Kid Sistr\nat Varsity Theater\nlivenation.com\nThe Wrecks is currently on their “Finally Outside” Tour\, hitting Varsity Theater\, in Minneapolis\, on October 22\, 2026.\n\n \n\nWe last saw The Wrecks a decade ago\, in October 2016 and mentioned\, “The all-ages show started earlier than the usual show time\, but that did not stop the fans from showing up early and on time for the first opener\, The Wrecks (Nick Anderson\, Aaron Kelley\, Nick Schmidt\, Harrison Nussbaum\, and Billy Nally). The 11-month band was really pleased at the early terrific turnout. They didn’t think anyone in the audience had heard of them (although we did write about them in May 2016)\, and jokingly announced “Here’s 8 songs you’ve never heard of!” Nick Anderson announced that ‘Favorite Liar’ (which closed out their 30-min set) was the first song they’ve ever written… and that they were happy to be back in Minneapolis. Apparently\, their bassist\, Aaron Kelley\, had families in the Twin Cities.”\nWorry Club and Kid Sistr to open. Kid Sistr was last seen in Minneapolis\, in June 2023.\n\n Worry Club at Turf Club (June 14\, 2025) \n\nWe saw Worry Club in June 2025 and wrote\, “Chicago-based indie punk pop band Worry Club was up next. Chase Walsh\, the creative center of the band\, has mostly focused on releasing singles\, and several EPs\, including 2023’s All Frogs Go to Heaven. That punk label was obvious from the jump\, with the opener Nothin being an absolute beast. The quartet (guitar/vocals\, guitar\, bass/backup vocals\, and drums) came out hot and it looked like they were determined to keep the energy bar at maximum (evidenced by the lead singer losing his hat in the second song and never looking back). Dedbody had a great guitar riff underneath and it felt like the vocals were driving things forward. The lead singer was all over the stage any time he wasn’t singing at the microphone\, and was the ringleader to the high energy antics. A bit of banter for a certain President’s birthday was pretty hysterical. Those fantastic guitar licks kept things moving at an almost unbearable pace\, but the band was able to maintain it (this was not a case of youth being wasted on the youth). In My Ear was more upbeat (not sure how that was possible)\, with a brighter tone and an audience-taught choral section to end the number. An as yet unreleased song followed and was perhaps their slowest of the evening. It helped Worry Club that they had the vocals turned all the way up and were clear as a bell. Another new song\, Anything Else\, started with a solo guitar before the rest of the band rejoined and included a change of guitar mid-song (not sure I’ve seen that before). Finishing with Same Name\, Worry Club had made a big impact on the crowd and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them playing bigger venues or headlining their own tour in the near future.”\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Jax: Doom Scroll at The Walrus (October 21\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Doom Scroll \nI was supposed to see another show at The Walrus\, in Jacksonville\, but that venue’s website is simply just terrible. I didn’t even know what time the show started or price of admission or what their camera policies were… so I took it off my calendar. SUMMARY:Mpls: We Are Scientists at Turf Club (Oct 20\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:We Are Scientists at Turf Club (Oct 20\, 2026)\n\n\nOctober 20\, 2026 Tuesday\n We Are Scientists\nat Turf Club\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nWe Are Scientists is playing all the hits with the 20th Anniversary of With Love and Squalor\, at the Turf Club\, in St Paul\, on October 20\, 2026.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe last saw We Are Scientists in May 2019 and wrote\, “Next up was New York\, by the way of Berkeley\, We Are Scientists. The duo features Keith Murray on lead vocals and guitars and Chris Cain on bass and backing vocals\, but for the live shows\, they’ve added Keith Carne on drums. I’ve told this story before\, but I first discovered the band in 2006\, when the band had a massive breakthrough success with their debut With Love and Squalor. Just simply listening to the album for the first time\, we were all singing along – that’s to show you how catchy their songs are. Their set seemed shorter than usual\, but that’s probably done on purpose. Since it’s their last night of the tour\, they spent a few minutes thanking Snow Patrol for bringing them on tour. Often their banters were incoherent (something about “baby be damned”??)\, but the gist of it is\, if the band asks you to support them on tour\, “take that opportunity!”. They sure seem to have had a lot of fun on this tour. The band dedicated “Tonight” to Ryan McMullan\, stating\, “Since he dedicated a breakup ballad to us\, we wanted to return the favor with ‘Tonight’.” (which\, in turn\, was another sad\, breakup ballad).”\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The full production hometown show promises to be a special night for the band and the fans who have been there since Tropidelic’s earliest days\, when the group was building its following one backyard party at a time. Surfer Girl and The Quasi Kings will open all dates. \nReleased June 26\, First Light marked another evolution for Tropidelic\, expanding the band’s signature blend of reggae\, rock\, hip-hop\, and punk while preserving the infectious energy and positivity that have made them one of the most dedicated fanbases in the scene. The album features collaborations with The Movement\, Collie Buddz\, Eli-Mac\, Fortunate Youth\, Little Stranger\, and The Quasi Kings\, showcasing the band’s most expansive songwriting and production to date.\nWATCH “NO FEAR” HERE \nFor more than 15 years\, Tropidelic has built its career the old-fashioned way: on the road\, in front of fans\, and through a fiercely independent grassroots approach. What started with backyard parties in Cleveland has grown into the band’s own destination event\, Everwild Music Festival\, while their reputation as one of the genre’s most dynamic live acts has taken them to major festivals including Okeechobee\, BeachLife\, and Tortuga\, as well as tours with Dirty Heads\, Lupe Fiasco\, and 311 and multiple appearances at Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. \nTropidelic have also announced the dates for 2027’s Everwild Music Festival which will take place from August 5-7 at Legend Valley in Thornville\, Ohio. The festival\, which kicked off in 2021 sold out for the first time this year and dates for the 2027 weekend will go on sale in the coming weeks. \nThe band’s connection to their city and state runs deep. Tropidelic has thrown out the ceremonial first pitch at a Cleveland Guardians game before performing live for a packed stadium\, adopted a stretch of Cleveland-area highway with a goal of keeping it so clean “you could eat off our stretch\,” according to vocalist Roads\, and regularly volunteers at a local men’s shelter while encouraging fans to join them in giving back. The November 21 show at The Agora brings that journey full circle\, giving the band a chance to celebrate First Light on the same ground where their Cleveland roots helped shape the band they are today. \n* * * TROPIDELIC 2026 TOUR * * * \nOctober 10 Las Vegas\, NV Vegas Vibez\nOctober 17 Jacksonville\, FL Tropic Invasion\nNovember 11 Hampton\, NH Wally’s *\nNovember 12 South Burlington\, VT Higher Ground *\nNovember 13 Syracuse\, NY Middle Ages Brewing *\nNovember 14 Harrisburg\, PA XL Live *\nNovember 15 Millvale\, PA Mr. Smalls Theatre *\nNovember 18 Des Moines\, IA Wooly’s *\nNovember 19 Madison\, WI Atwood Music Hall *\nNovember 20 Grand Rapids\, MI The Intersection *\nNovember 21 Cleveland\, OH The Agora * \n* = headline dates with Surfer Girl & The Quasi Kings \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Jax: Smashing Pumpkins at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (Oct 17\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:The iconic\, GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band The Smashing Pumpkins have announced The Rats In A Cage Tour\, one of their most ambitious live shows yet. Kicking off in September and running through November 2026\, The Rats In A Cage Tour will feature the band playing two distinct sets: one celebrating the seminal 1995 RIAA Diamond certified Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’ recent 30th anniversary\, and one a career-spanning journey through nearly four decades’ worth of beloved hits\, deep cuts\, and fan-favorites alike. \nTickets will be available starting with Citi and Verizon presales beginning on Tuesday\, May 19 at 10 am local. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Thursday\, May 21 at 10 am local on smashingpumpkins.com. Learn more about Verizon Access here. \n“Staging a Mellon Collie-themed show is something we’ve discussed for over a decade\, and finally the stars have aligned and exactly on the terms I’d set: which was to build a special night around its most enduring aspirations and ideas\,” Billy Corgan said. “With set 1 of the Rats In A Cage tour exclusively featuring Mellon Collie songs in a highly theatrical setting\, and set 2 drawing from the rest of our canon so that there’s a decent amount of variance as to what songs we’ll play from night to night: from our first in ‘Gish’ to our last in ‘Aghori Mhori Mei’.” \nLast night\, after dropping hints for several days\, the band hosted a Requiem For ZERO at the Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles. The intimate hall allowed 300 guests to witness the funeral for ZERO\, the avatar Billy Corgan first inhabited 30 years ago on Mellon Collie. \nBefore the tour kicks off\, The Smashing Pumpkins will headline their hometown’s famed Lollapalooza on July 31st for the first time in over 30 years\, marking their long-awaited return to the festival since its touring iteration in 1994. Then\, in September\, the Rats In A Cage tour opens in Columbus. OH\, before visiting multiple major markets throughout America and Canada. With the Pumpkins’ shows forever known for delivering raw performances on an epic emotional scale\, theRats In A Cage tour and its journey through the decades promises to showcase the kaleidoscopic range the band has wielded from Gish all the way to their most recent album release\, Aghori Mhori Mei. \nThe Rats In A Cage Tour follows a multi-faceted 2025 anniversary blowout for Mellon Collie\, including a deluxe vinyl reissue featuring previously unheard live recordings from the world tour supporting the album\, a special reimagining of Mellon Collie’s iconic hits and beloved fan-favorites onstage with the Lyric Opera Of Chicago\, and culinary collaborations with Vosges Haut-Chocolat and Erewhon. Released the same year as Machina/The Machines Of God’s 25th anniversary reissue\, the Mellon Collie celebration continued what has been a furiously productive decade for The Smashing Pumpkins\, with a flood of inspiration producing 2020’s Cyr\, 2022/2023’s triple-album Atum: A Rock Opera In Three Parts\, and 2024’s Aghori Mhori Mei. \nAlongside all of his Pumpkins activity\, the ever-prolific Corgan has remained busy in other ventures as well. Entering its second year\, his widely praised podcast The Magnificent Others has recently featured candid conversations about creativity and legacy with Courtney Love\, Billy Idol\, Nancy Wilson\, and Yungblud. Corgan also made his Coachella debut\, joining Sombr onstage for a surprise performance. Most recently\, in his capacity as president of the National Wrestling Alliance\, Corgan led the hallowed athletic institution to a landmark deal with Comet TV\, bringing NWA back to free broadcast TV nationwide for the first time since the early ‘90s. The new chapter of NWA dawned on May 1st\, marking the latest moment in a standout year for Corgan and the Pumpkins. \nFULL TOUR ROUTING \nWed\, Sep 30 — Columbus\, OH — Schottenstein Center \nFri\, Oct 2 — Boston\, MA — TD Garden \nSat\, Oct 3 — Baltimore\, MD — CFG Bank Arena \nSun\, Oct 4 — Brooklyn\, NY — Barclays Center \nTue\, Oct 6 — Pittsburgh\, PA — PPG Paints Arena \nWed\, Oct 7 — Hamilton\, ON — TD Coliseum \nFri\, Oct 9 — Montreal\, QC — Bell Centre \nSun\, Oct 11 — Madison\, WI — Kohl Center \nTue\, Oct 13 — St. Paul\, MN — Grand Casino Arena \nWed\, Oct 14 — Chicago\, IL — United Center \nFri\, Oct 16 — Charlotte\, NC — Spectrum Center \nSat\, Oct 17 — Jacksonville\, FL — VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena \nSun\, Oct 18 — Tampa\, FL — Benchmark International Arena \nTue\, Oct 20 — Indianapolis\, IN — Gainbridge Fieldhouse \nWed\, Oct 22 — Nashville\, TN — The Truth \nSat\, Oct 24 — Oklahoma City\, OK — Paycom Center \nSun\, Oct 25 — Austin\, TX — Moody Center \nTue\, Oct 27 — Denver\, CO — Ball Arena \nThu\, Oct 29 — Salt Lake City\, UT — Delta Center \nFri\, Oct 30 — Las Vegas\, NV — MGM Grand Garden Arena \nSun\, Nov 1 — Portland\, OR — Moda Center \nTue\, Nov 3 — Calgary\, AB — Scotiabank Saddledome \nThu\, Nov 5 — Vancouver\, BC — Rogers Arena \nFri\, Nov 6 — Seattle\, WA — Climate Pledge Arena \nSun\, Nov 8 — San Jose\, CA — SAP Center \nWed\, Nov 11 — Phoenix\, AZ — Mortgage Matchup Center \nThu\, Nov 12 — Los Angeles\, CA — Kia Forum \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The group is touring in support of their eleventh studio album\, Little Rope (Loma Vista). The band hardly spoke\, except singer/bassist Carrie Brownstein mention that the Chicago audience was “the best audience so far.” I am assuming by best\, they meant turn out and very interactive. I’m sure it could also mean well behaved. Each stop on the tour\, SK had a different concert poster for the show. Unfortunately\, the Chicago posters did not arrive to the venue on time\, so fans were offered a signed poster if they ordered that poster on their website\, as a concession.”\n\n\nTuffie and Scrunchies to open.\n\n\nTour Dates:\n\n\n 10/16: Minneapolis\, MN @ Fine Line 10/17: San Francisco\, CA @ Bottom Of The Hill 10/18: San Francisco\, CA @ Bottom Of The Hill10/24: Olympia\, WA @ Capitol Theater *Girl Night Part 2* 10/28: Portland\, OR @ Revolution Hall 10/30: Washington\, DC @ Black Cat* 10/31: New York\, NY @ Bowery Ballroom* 11/1: Philadelphia\, PA @ First Unitarian Church* 11/5: Seattle\, WA @ Nuemos11/8: Pasadena\, CA @ Sid the Cat Auditorium11/14: Chicago\, IL @ The Empty Bottle11/15: Chicago\, IL @ The Empty Bottle11/21: Athens\, GA @ 40 Watt 11/22: Durham\, NC @ Motorco Music Hall \n* with Calamity Jane\n \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
