SUMMARY:John Maus at Green Room
DESCRIPTION:September 28\, 2025 Sunday \nJohn Maus\nat Green Room\ngreenroommn.com \n\nMinnesota’s John Maus is bringing his unique performance on tour in support of Later Than You Think. The singer will stop by the Green Room\, in Minneapolis\, on September 28\, 2025. \n\n\n \n\nWe saw Maus in Feb 2019 and said\, “In stark contrast to the eight-piece band that started the show\, John Maus is a one man performer (with a laptop). Compared to Maus’ previous show at the sold-out Cedar Cultural Club in April 2018\, seeing Maus alone on such a large stage wasn’t as compelling (despite his funky\, pogo-jumping\, intense dance movies and air punches). With a band\, they had some improvising elements… but with a laptop\, it just felt like a weird Karaoke show. Also\, since each background music is perfectly timed\, maybe the show actually ended earlier than you would normally expect from a regular rock/pop show.” \nTour Dates:  \n\n\nSeptember 26 – Warsaw – Brooklyn\, NY\nSeptember 28 – Green Room – Minneapolis\, MN\nSeptember 29 – Outset – Chicago\, IL\nSeptember 30 – The Loving Touch – Ferndale\, MI\nOctober 1 – Danforth Music Hall – Toronto\, ON\nOctober 3 – Theatre of Living Arts – Philadelphia\, PA\nOctober 6 – Ottobar – Baltimore\, MD\nOctober 7 – The Broadberry – Richmond\, VA\nOctober 8 – The Underground – Charlotte\, NC\nOctober 9 – Variety Playhouse – Atlanta\, GA\nOctober 11 – Conduit – Winter Park\, FL\nOctober 12 – Gramps – Miami\, FL\nOctober 14 – White Oak Music Hall – Houston\, TX\nOctober 15 – Empire Control Room & Garage – Austin\, TX\nOctober 16 – The Echo Lounge & Music Hall – Dallas\, TX\nOctober 18 – Insideout – Albuquerque\, NM\nOctober 19 – Walter Studios – Phoenix\, AZ\nOctober 20 – The Observatory – Santa Ana\, CA\nOctober 22 – The Belasco – Los Angeles\, CA\nOctober 23 – The Fillmore – San Francisco\, CA\nOctober 25 – The Wall at AREA15 – Las Vegas\, NV\n\n\n  \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

DESCRIPTION:Sep 30\, 2025 Tuesday \nBlack Rebel Motorcycle Club\nwith Humanist\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com \n\nShoegazing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC for short) is headlining First Avenue on September 30\, 2025.\n\nWe saw BRMC on July 2022 and said\, “We have a real history with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (abbreviated to BRMC)\, having seen them twice in 2001 (at 7th Street Entry in May 2001 and First Avenue in August 2001)\, when they were first out on tour for their debut album B.R.M.C.. I described the tour as\, “… the band had a smoke machine\, but it was fairly dark throughout the show.” Let me tell you\, not much has changed\, they still have a fog machine\, playing in complete darkness and a backlight/light show. It’s all by design\, to hide the band in darkness\, but still creating an atmosphere to fit their music.” \nHumanist (Rob Marshall) to open. \nTour dates: \n\n\n09/20 Observatory Santa Ana\, CA\n09/21 Ace of Spades Sacramento\, CA\n09/23 Commodore Ballroom Vancouver\, BC\n09/24 Showbox Sodo Seattle\, WA\n09/25 Crystal Ballroom Portland\, OR\n09/27 The Depot Salt Lake City\, UT\n09/28 Summit Denver Denver\, CO\n09/30  First Ave Minneapolis\, MN\n10/01 Turner Hall Milwaukee\, WI\n10/03 Thalia Hall Chicago\, IL\n10/04 Thalia Hall Chicago\, IL\n10/05 History Toronto\, ON\n10/07 Beanfield Theatre Montreal\, QC\n10/08 House of Blues Boston\, MA\n10/10 Terminal 5 New York\, NY\n10/11 Union Transfer Philadelphia\, PA\n10/12 9:30 Club Washington\, DC\n10/14 Orange Peel Asheville\, NC\n10/15 Buckhead Theatre Atlanta\, GA\n10/17 White Oak Music Hall Houston\, TX\n10/18 Mohawk Austin\, TX\n10/19 Granada Theatre Dallas\, TX\n10/21 Van Buren Phoenix\, AZ\n10/22 Observatory San Diego\, CA\n10/23 Wiltern Los Angeles\, CA\n10/25 The Warfield San Francisco\, CA\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Water From Your Eyes at 7th St Entry
DESCRIPTION:Sep 30\, 2025 Tuesday \nWater From Your Eyes\nwith Her New Knife\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com \n\nIndie pop darlings Water From Your Eyes is headlining the 7th Street Entry on September 30\, 2025. \n\nWe saw Water From Your Eyes on Feb 2024 and said\, “Water from Your Eyes opened the evening. The Brooklyn band consists of Rachel Brown on vocals and Nate Amos on electric guitar. They were joined on stage by a drummer and bassist\, but I didn’t catch their names for Brown’s mic seemed to be mixed with the volume down low. After a while it became apparent that the choice was an aesthetic one instead of a mishap by the sound engineer. Still\, it didn’t prevent a guy behind me from shouting\, “Turn up the vocals!” which brought a slight smile and little jig from Brown.” \n\n\nPhiladelphia band Her New Knife to open. They were the very first band to open for julie\, playing with another ‘water’ band called They Are Gutting A Body of Water\, in Oct 2024 and we noted\, “Her New Knife\, who opened the show was more in the shoegazing line. They had a forthcoming EP called chrome is lullaby which will come out in a few weeks.” \nTour Dates \n\n\n09/22 – Johnny Brenda’s – Philadelphia\, PA #\n09/23 – The Atlantis – Washington\, DC #\n09/24 – Cat’s Cradle – Carrboro\, NC #\n09/26 – The Earl – Atlanta\, GA #\n09/27 – The Blue Room – Nashville\, TN #\n09/28 – Old Rock House – St. Louis\, MO #\n09/30 – 7th St Entry – Minneapolis\, MN #\n10/01 – High Noon Saloon – Madison\, WI #\n10/02 – Sleeping Village – Chicago\, IL #\n10/03 – El Club – Detroit\, MI #\n10/06 – Bar Le Ritz PDB – Montreal\, QC #\n10/07 – The Drake – Amherst\, MA #\n10/08 – The Sinclair – Cambridge\, MA #\n10/10 – Bowery Ballroom – New York\, NY #\n\n# – w/ Her New Knife\n\n\n  \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Tune-Yards at Fine Line
DESCRIPTION:October 1\, 2025 Wednesday \nTune-Yards\nwith Kassa Overall\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com \n\n\nKicking off Rocktober properly is Oakland’s Tune-Yards headlining the Fine Line\, in Minneapolis\, on October 1\, 2025. We haven’t heard from Tune-Yards in quite a while\, but it looks like the duo (Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner) have a new album called Better Dreaming (available now). \n\n\nWe saw tUnE-yArDs in Mar 2018 and wrote\, “The stage was set with dramatic lighting framing the back end of the stage and a curved center frame with gauzed curtains that would accentuate the shadows of tUnE-yArDs as the three-piece took to the stage for their seventy-seven minute headlining set beginning with ‘Home’. “I always feel on holy ground” Garbus posted on social media just prior to playing the historic venue. The new album\, more electronic than previous\, but still dealing with issues including self-identity and appropriation amongst very danceable beats\, was the clear focus of the evening\, with the group playing just over half of the new tracks\, but still saving room for some old favorites as well.” \nKassa Overall to open. \nTour Dates \n\n\nSeptember 6 – Evanston\, IL\, Evanston Folk Festival\nSeptember 9 – Fort Collins\, CO\, New Belgium Brewery *\nSeptember 10 – Boulder\, CO\, Chautauqua Auditorium *\nSeptember 11 – Boulder\, CO\, Chautauqua Auditorium *\nSeptember 14 – San Diego\, CA\, Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay *\nSeptember 20 – Camden\, NJ (XPN) – XPoNential Music Festival\nSeptember 22 – Washington\, DC – Howard Theatre\nSeptember 24 – Carrboro\, NC – Cat’s Cradle\nSeptember 25 – Atlanta\, GA – Terminal West\nSeptember 26 – Nashville\, TN – Exit/In\nSeptember 27 – St. Louis\, MO – Off Broadway\nSeptember 29 – Indianapolis\, IN – HI-FI\nSeptember 30 – Milwaukee\, WI – Vivarium\nOctober 1 – Minneapolis\, MN – Fine Line\nOctober 2 – Madison\, WI – The Majestic\nOctober 4 – Kalamazoo\, MI – Bell’s Back Room\nOctober 5 – Detroit\, MI – El Club\nOctober 6 – Columbus\, OH – Skullys\nOctober 8 – Pittsburgh\, PA – Mr. Smalls Theatre\nOctober 9 – New York\, NY – Bowery Ballroom\nNovember 15 – Berlin\, Germany\, Festsaal Kreuzberg\nNovember 17 – Amsterdam\, Netherlands\, Tolhuistuin\nNovember 18 – Gent\, Belgium\, Wintercircus\nNovember 19 – Paris\, France\, La Bellevilloise\nNovember 21 – Brighton\, UK\, Attenborough Centre\nNovember 22 – London\, UK\, Royal Festival Hall\nNovember 23 – Manchester\, UK\, Aviva Studios\nNovember 25 – Leeds\, UK\, Irish Centre\nNovember 26 – Glasgow\, UK\, St Luke’s\nNovember 27 – Sunderland\, UK\, The Fire Station\nNovember 29 – Dublin\, Ireland\, Whelan’s\n* Supporting Ani DiFranco\n\n  \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Low Cut Connie at First Avenue
DESCRIPTION:Oct 2\, 2025 Thursday\nLow Cut Connie \nwith Monica LaPlante and Judy Blank\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com \nSouth Philadelphia’s Low Cut Connie returns to First Avenue\, this October 2\, 2025. The piano-driven Adam Weiner puts on an amazing show – don’t miss this one. If the date doesn’t work out for you\, their first-ever Connie Live is available now on Contender Records. \n\n\nThe band is known for their high-energy live shows\, as seen in Oct 2015\, when we said said\, “South Philadelphia-based Low Cut Connie (aka Adam Weiner) closed out the night. Weiner told us on stage that he was a school teacher until the age of 31\, when he started his band. He never thought that one day he would be playing his songs around the world. Most of Low Cut Connie’s fanbase was because they’ve seen the band play live\, as we mentioned when we first saw him play at Rock the Garden in 16 Jun 2018: “Low Cut Connie blew us away.” \nMaybe with this upcoming Rocktober date\, it’ll be a different story\, playing inside an air conditioned room of First Avenue. We’ll see! \nDutch indie darling Judy Blank to open. Blank’s album Big Mood is out August 22 on Rounder Records. \nAlso\, local musician Monica LaPlante is on the bill. We last saw LaPlante in Jan 2025\, and said\, “Laplante mentioned there will be a new album coming out\, but that they are currently in the trenches with it. You could see the excitement on her face as she talked about the creative process\, discussing that the overarching theme of the album is still working its way to the top. There’s an energy that Laplante has as she talked about the band and the music\, and it carries through in the on stage performance as well.” \nTour Dates \n\n\n8/31 – Asbury Park\, NJ – Stone Pony Summer Stage\n9/4 – Brooklyn\, NY – Industry City Bandshell\n9/13 – Freehold\, NJ – Concerts In The Studio (Solo Show)\n9/26 – Louisville\, KY – The Whirling Tiger\n9/30 – Kansas City\, MO – Warehouse On Broadway\n10/2 – Minneapolis\, MN – First Avenue\n10/3 – Maquoketa\, IA – Codfish Hollow Barnstormers\n10/4 – Evanston\, IL – Space\n\n\n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Ruston Kelly at Fine Line
DESCRIPTION:Ruston Kelly at Fine Line (Oct 2\, 2025)\n\n\nOctober 2\, 2025 Thursday \nRuston Kelly\nwith Sam MacPherson\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com \n\n\nRuston Kelly will be headlining Fine Line\, in Minneapolis\, on October 2\, 2025\, in support of Pale\, Through the Window (coming out Sept 12 via Rounder Records). In the meantime\, you can listen to his single “Waiting to Love You.” \n\n \nRuston Kelly at First Ave (April 30\, 2023)\n\n\nWe saw Ruston Kelly in April 2023 and noted\, “Ruston Kelly first made waves when his song\, “Nashville Without You”\, appeared on Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes of Freedom. He signed with BMG Nashville\, then Razor & Tie’s Washington Square\, and currently he’s on Rounder Records. As you can see from the setlist\, a lot of songs from The Weakness were played\, including the title track\, which ended his set. SUMMARY:Garbage at First Avenue
DESCRIPTION:Oct 4\, 2025 Saturday\nGarbage \nwith Starcrawler\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com \nAmerican rock band Garbage (led by Scottish singer/actress Shirley Manson) will be headlining First Avenue on October 4\, 2025\, in support of their new album Let All That We Imagine Be the Light. \n  \nTo be perfectly honest\, we were looking forward to seeing the group at Minnesota Yacht Club Music Festival in July 2025\, but was somewhat disappointed in the show. Possibly because Shirley Manson was dressed in a plastic dress and it was so hot\, she admitted she was not in tip-top shape: “Manson shared how she suddenly was way too hot\, being in the plastic outfit she had (“I don’t know what I was f’ing thinking”)\, but thankfully Garbage only had a little time left. The weather was also starting to cool down\, so hopefully Manson was starting to feel a little less overheated. In any case\, Garbage finished their set strong and left the stage to thankful fans.” \nStarcrawler to open. \n\nI don’t think we’ll ever forget how amazing this band is when we saw them in Oct 2019: “\nVisually and performance-wise\, this is probably our favorite show of Rocktober. Everything from de Wilde strangling herself with the mic cords\, to Cash’s guitar playing on the Turf Club’s bar (see photo!)\, to that faithful cover of the Ramones’ “Pet Semetary” song was done amazingly well.” \nThe Los Angeles previously toured with Boris\, and now with Garbage. I hate to say it\, but I feel like Starcrawler’s performance may actually outshine Garbage\, just based on seeing the two bands played before. \nTour Dates \n\n\nSep 3\, 2025 Hard Rock Live Orlando\, FL\nSep 5\, 2025 Pompano Beach Amphitheatre Pompano Beach\, FL\nSep 6\, 2025 Jannus Live St. Petersburg\, FL\nSep 8\, 2025 The Eastern Atlanta\, GA\nSep 10\, 2025 The Pinnacle Nashville\, TN\nSep 12\, 2025 Agora Theatre and Ballroom Cleveland\, OH\nSep 13\, 2025 Masonic Temple – Cathedral Theatre Detroit\, MI\nSep 16\, 2025 Franklin Music Hall Philadelphia\, PA\nSep 17\, 2025 The Anthem Washington\, DC\nSep 18\, 2025 Roadrunner Boston\, MA\nSep 20\, 2025 Brooklyn Paramount New York\, NY\nSep 21\, 2025 College Street Music Hall New Haven\, CT\nSep 23\, 2025 Stage AE Pittsburgh\, PA\nSep 24\, 2025 HISTORY Toronto\, ON\nSep 26\, 2025 Ohana Festival – Doheny State Beach Dana Point\, CA\nSep 29\, 2025 The Salt Shed – The Shed Chicago\, IL\nSep 30\, 2025 MegaCorp Pavilion Newport\, KY\nOct 1\, 2025 KEMBA Live! SUMMARY:Swervedriver at Turf Club (Oct 4\, 2025)
DESCRIPTION:Swervedriver at Turf Club (Oct 4\, 2025)\n\n\nOctober 4\, 2025 Saturday \nSwervedriver\nwith Porcupine\nat Turf Club\nfirst-avenue.com \n\n  \nOxford’s Swervedriver is headlining the Turf Club\, in St Paul\, on October 4\, 2025. \n\n  \n \nSwervedriver at the Turf Club (Mar 12\, 2015)\n\n\nWe saw the band in March 2015 and mentioned: “Swervedriver is also heading down to SXSW\, this year (they’ve already announced a free show). Expect to see the band continue their tour to the East Coast after SXSW. As you can see from their autographed setlist\, the band played almost all of their new album I Wasn’t Born to Lose You\, with the exception of “English Subtitles” and “Red Queen Arms Race”. The other half of their set was older material\, including the classic 1993 album Mezcal Head (the album with the bull on the cover)\, including these two songs that ended their set\, “Girl On A Motorbike” and “Duel”.” \n\n  \n \nPorcupine at 7th St Entry (Feb 26\, 2023)\n\nPorcupine to open. We saw the band a few times\, the last being with Loki’s Folly in Feb 2023: “We previously caught Porcupine opening for The Posies in June 2018 and The Flesh Eaters in March 2019\, so they are playing in good company…. Evolving forward from a late ‘80s/‘90s indie-rock sound of Swervedriver meets QOTSA\, the trio is out in support of latest six-song record\, What You’ve Heard Isn’t Real (on Dead Broke Rekerds/DC-Jam) and recent lead single\, ‘Lifetime’. The teenage alienation of their version of Hüsker Dü’s ‘Standing by the Sea’ from the new record was originally penned by Norton’s ex-band mate\, the late Grant Hart\, and is a fitting tribute to his musical legacy. Even songs like 2011’s ‘Rooftops’ resonate further\, with Norton providing an extra bump from his restless stage presence and formidable bass skills.” \n  \nTour Dates: \n\n  \n\n\nSEP 29 Great American Music Hall San Francisco\, CA\nOCT 1 Mississippi Studios Portland\, OR\nOCT 2 Neumos Seattle\, WA\nOCT 4 Turf Club St Paul\, MN\nOCT 5 Thalia Hall Chicago\, IL\n\n\n  \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Destroyer at Fine Line (Oct 4\, 2025)
DESCRIPTION:Destroyer at Fine Line (Oct 4\, 2025)\n\n\nOctober 4\, 2025 Saturday \nDestroyer\nwith Jennifer Castle\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com \n\n  \nDestroyer is headlining the Fine Line\, in Minneapolis\, on October 4\, 2025\, in support of their 14th album Dan’s Boogie (Merge Records). This upcoming tour will feature a full seven-piece band\, for a complete Destroyer experience. \n\n  \n \nDestroyer at Fine Line (January 18\, 2018)\n\n\nWe saw Destroyer in Jan 2018 and mentioned: “Destroyer came on stage slightly later than advertised. The Vancouver band is fronted by singer-songwriter Dan Bejar\, and features Nicholas Bragg on guitar\, Tim Loewen on bass\, Ted Bois on keys\, Scott Morgan on drums\, and secret weapon Fisher Rose on trumpet. The thing to note about Destroyer is that they sound very different from album to album. In Bejar’s words\, “That’s kind of my goal: to start from scratch every time.”” \n\n  \n \nJennifer Castle at Dakota Jazz Club (Oct 30\, 2014)\n\nJennifer Castle to open. We saw Castle over ten years ago\, at the Dakota Jazz Club in October 2014 (but she’s previously toured with Destroyer last year): “Toronto’s Jennifer Castle decorated the stage with flowers that she found along the long road to Minneapolis. She joking offered to sell the flowers too\, along with her entire discography for sale at the merch table. She started and ended her set with covers\, starting with Bob Dylan’s “Walkin’ Down the Line” and ending with a traditional song “Sailor’s Blessing”\, which she sang a cappella. Sandwiched between were mostly selections from her latest album Pink City\, which came out last month on Idée Fixe Records.” \n  \nDestroyer On Tour \n\n  \n\n\nSep 23 Eugene\, OR – WOW Hall ^\nSep 24 San Francisco\, CA – August Hall ^\nSep 25 Los Angeles\, CA – The Bellwether ^\nSep 26 Phoenix\, AZ – The Rebel Lounge ^\nSep 29 Dallas\, TX – Trees ^\nOct 01 Louisville\, KY – Whirling Tiger ^\nOct 02 Chicago\, IL – Thalia Hall ^\nOct 03 Milwaukee\, WI – Vivarium ^\nOct 04 Minneapolis\, MN – Fine Line ^\nOct 06 Cleveland\, OH – Beachland Ballroom ^\nOct 07 Pittsburgh\, PA – Mr. Smalls Theatre ^\nOct 08 Toronto\, ON – The Opera House ^\nOct 09 Montréal\, QC – Les Foufounes Électriques ^\nOct 10 Boston\, MA – Paradise Rock Club ^\nOct 11 Brooklyn\, NY – Knockdown Center ^*\nOct 12 Philadelphia\, PA – Underground Arts\nOct 14 Washington\, DC – Black Cat ^\nOct 15 Carrboro\, NC – Cat’s Cradle ^\nOct 16 Atlanta\, GA – Hell at The Masquerade ^\nOct 17 Nashville\, TN – Basement East ^\nOct 18 St. Louis\, MO – Off Broadway ^\nOct 19 Kansas City\, MO – Warehouse on Broadway ^\nOct 21 Denver\, CO – Bluebird Theater ^\nOct 22 Salt Lake City\, UT – Urban Lounge ^\nOct 23 Boise\, ID – Shrine Social Club ^\nOct 24 Portland\, OR – Aladdin Theater ^\nOct 25 Seattle\, WA – Crocodile ^\nOct 26 Vancouver\, BC – Vogue Theatre ^\nwith Jennifer Castle ^ \nwith Cass McCombs *\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
