They also previously released “Where the Goth Girls At?”\, described by CLASH as “a bruising bass-led feast of rock debauchery”\, “Insignificant Other”\, tipped as\, “Queens channel the Stones as Josh Homme reaches for his most sinister falsetto croon on this deliciously callous kiss-off” by Uncut Magazine\, and “Easy Street\,” praised as “psychedelic” by the NME and “decidedly surreal” by DIY Magazine\, ahead of the album’s Oct. 30 release via Matador Records. \nProduced by Homme and band member Michael Shuman\, the record was made in the spirit of Kintsugi – the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling its cracks with gold\, which holds that what has been shattered is made more beautiful\, not less\, by the act of repair.
