SUMMARY:Mpls: Dethklok & Amon Amarth at Armory (April 24\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Dethklok & Amon Amarth at Armory (April 24\, 2026)\n\n\nApril 24\, 2026 Friday\n Dethklok & Amon Amarth\nwith Castle Ratat Armory\narmorymn.com\n\nDethklok and Amon Amarth are co-headlining the massive Armory\, in Minneapolis\, this April 24\, 2026.\n\n\n Dethklok \n\n\nWe caught Dethklok in Sep 2023 and wrote\, “Next up was co-headliner Dethklok. Like Gorillaz\, Dethklok is a fictional animated band. Originally appearing on the Metalocalypse cartoon show (on Adult Swim). All the music created for Metalocalypse was created by Brendon Small\, and they released his music in the debut album The Dethalbum (as Dethklok) in 2007. Now in 2023\, they have a fourth album\, Dethalbum IV. If you’re wondering why it took so long for the new album (an 11 year absent since Dethalbum III in 2012)\, it’s because it has partially due to the copyright ownership of the Dethklok name by Adult Swim. They must have come to a mutual agreement\, because Dethklok is back\, and stronger than ever\, based on seeing the response from the audience.”\n\n\n \n\n Also worth noting is that Castle Rat will open. We’re very in love with the band\, having seen them in and said\, “Headlining was Castle Rat\, delivering a powerful blend of Doom Metal\, fantasy storytelling\, and… sword fighting! Did I mention they’re theatrical? On lead vocals and rhythm guitar is the Rat Queen and all-around renaissance woman herself\, Riley Pinkerton\, backed by a band of fantasy characters: The Count (Franco Vittore\, lead guitar/backing vocals)\, The Plague Doctor (Charley Ruddel\, bass)\, The Druid (Josh Strmic\, drums)\, and the Rat Reapress—not a musician\, but a performer and antagonist to our heroic musicians (Rebecca Corrigan). Nostalgic clean vocals\, Sabbath worthy bass lines\, all the riffs you could want\, gripping guitar solos\, and a maniac of a drummer that I still won’t stop talking about… that’s a recipe for success on its own. Now add in a story line woven through the albums and into the stage show and a call to action for the crowd to assist the band in saving The Realm… the crowd went insane for this band.” \nTHE AMONKLOK CONQUEST TOUR\n\nApr 15: Phoenix\, AZ – Arizona Financial Theatre ~\nApr 17: San Antonio\, TX – Boeing Center at Tech Port ~\nApr 18: Houston\, TX – 713 Music Hall ~\nApr 20: Oklahoma City\, OK – The Criterion ~\nApr 21: Kansas City\, MO – The Midland Theatre ~^\nApr 22: Chesterfield\, MO – The Factory ~\nApr 24: Minneapolis\, MN – The Armory ~\nApr 25: Waukee\, IA – Vibrant Music Hall ~\nApr 28: Brooklyn\, NY – Brooklyn Paramount ~\nApr 29: Boston\, MA – MGM Music Hall At Fenway ~\nMay 01: Toronto\, ON – Great Canadian Casino Resort ~\nMay 02: Montreal\, QC – Bell Centre ~\nMay 05: National Harbor\, MD – The Theater at MGM National Harbor ~\nMay 07: Daytona Beach\, FL – Welcome To Rockville\nMay 09: Atlanta\, GA – Coca-Cola Roxy ~\nMay 10: Nashville\, TN – The Pinnacle ~^\nMay 12: Johnstown\, PA – 1st Summit Arena ~\nMay 13: Detroit\, MI – Fox Theatre ~\nMay 14: Bethlehem\, PA – Wind Creek Event Center ~\nMay 16: Milwaukee\, WI – Landmark Credit Union Live ~\nMay 17: Columbus\, OH – Sonic Temple\nMay 19: Denver\, CO – JUNKYARD ~\nMay 20: Salt Lake City\, UT – The Union Event Center ~\nMay 21: Las Vegas\, NV – PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino ~\n~ THE AMONKLOK CONQUEST TOUR\n \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:Jax: Everclear at FIVE (April 25\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Everclear at FIVE (April 25\, 2026)\n \n\nExplore More\n\n■ Everclear\nEverclear is an American rock band formed in Portland\, Oregon\, in 1992. The band was formed by Art Alexakis\, the band’s lead songwriter\, vocalist\, and guitarist. The band found success with Sparkle and Fade (1995)\, So Much for the Afterglow (1997)\, and Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile (2000)\, which were all certified platinum in sales in the United States. \n\n\n\nApril 25\, 2026 SaturdayEverclear\nat FIVEfivejax.com\n\nBeloved alternative 90s band Everclear is returning to Jacksonville\, headlining the FIVE on April 25\, 2026.\n\n\n Everclear at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall (Oct 12\, 2025) \n\n\nWe saw Everclear in Oct 2025 and noted what a great\, dedicated fanbase the band has: “Very much like last year’s appearance\, Everclear is serving their fanbase\, who loves them. Looking at the audience\, there were some 12-year-olds (some with mohawks)\, so their parents were passing their love of Everclear to their children. This is a generational thing\, but it might also be family thing\, as they might relate to Art Alexakis’ very personal song\, “Father of Mine”. However they found themselves\, they were certainly waiting to hear those songs from The Sparkle and Fade (and So Much for the Afterglow). Alexakis knows this\, and would occasionally tease us with snippets of those songs\, like “Santa Monica”. “We’ll get to that!” Speaking of fans\, Alexakis came on wearing an Everclear cap\, and it’s probably a gimmick now\, but he said he’s a loser for wearing his own band merch. Let’s fix that\, he then offers it to his loyal fanbase. After which\, his familiar black fedora-style hat was brought on stage for him to wear. There were a lot of fans wearing Everclear T-Shirts and buying the new re-issued album\, carrying it around with their Everclear canvas bags. Seeing how packed the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall got\, it’s clear to me that the tour is going quite well\, and hopefully\, Thaddeus can let you know how the tour is going once they hit Minneapolis on November 1st.”\n\n\nTour Dates\n\nMar 27 Solvang Festival Theater Solvang\, CA\nApr 4 Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Cabazon\, CA\nApr 11 Leelanau Sands Casino Showroom Peshawbestown\, MI\nApr 16 Haute Spot Cedar Park\, TX\nApr 17 Billy Bob’s Texas Fort Worth\, TX\nApr 18 Stage 271 Grant\, OK\nApr 19 The Sovereign St. Louis\, MO\nApr 22 Brewsky’s Hattiesburg\, MS\nApr 23 CLUB LA Destin\, FL\nApr 24 FIVE Jacksonville\, FL\nApr 25 Leesburg Bike Fest 2026 Leesburg\, FL\nApr 26 The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon Fort Myers\, FL\nApr 30 The Foundry at Judson Mill Greenville\, SC\nMay 1 Bowstring Pizza and Brewyard Raleigh\, NC\nMay 2 Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard Wilmington\, NC\nMay 8 Lynchburg Amphitheater at Riverfront Park Lynchburg\, VA\nMay 9 SatMMR*B*Q 2026 Camden\, NJ\nMay 15 Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival 2026 Columbus\, OH\nJun 13 Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater Peachtree City\, GA\nJun 17 Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Richmond\, VA\nJun 18 Musikfest Café Bethlehem\, PA\nJun 20 Starland Ballroom Sayreville\, NJ\nJun 21 The Muse Nantucket\, MA\nJun 26 Greeley Stampede 2026 Greeley\, CO\nJun 27 Boise Music Festival Boise\, ID\nJul 11 Blessing in Disguise Music Festival Spokane\, WA\nJul 18 Rock The Boat Everett\, WA\nJul 25 Clearfield County Fair Clearfield\, PA\nAug 1 Jergel’s Rhythm Grille Warrendale\, PA\nAug 7 Danenberger Family Vineyards New Berlin\, IL\nAug 13 LIVE at Legacy Square Dickinson\, ND\nAug 28 Pigeon Lake Concert Series Mulhurst\, AB\nSep 11 The Shed Smokehouse & Juke Joint Maryville\, TN\nSep 17 New Mexico State Fair Albuquerque\, NM\nSep 25 Appell Center for the Performing Arts York\, PA\nSep 26 Oceans Calling 2026 Ocean City\, MD \n\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:Jax: Alabama Shakes at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre (Apr 26\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Alabama Shakes (Apr 26\, 2026)\n \n\nExplore More\n■ Alabama ShakesAlabama Shakes is an American rock band formed in Athens\, Alabama\, in 2009. The band currently consists of lead singer and guitarist Brittany Howard\, guitarist Heath Fogg\, and bassist Zac Cockrell. \n\n\n\n\nApril 26\, 2026 Sunday\nAlabama Shakes\nat St. Augustine Amphitheatretheamp.com\n\nAthens’ Alabama Shakes is headlining The St. Augustine Amphitheatre\, in St Augustine\, on April 26\, 2026.\n\n\n Alabama Shakes \n\n\nWe caught Alabama Shakes in July 2025 and said\, “It’s great to have Alabama Shakes back in action and the band came out with a lot of performers\, but all supporting Howard’s tremendous vocals. Her banter was as powerful as her singing and after switching guitars\, she started a great riff for the next song. Her high range singing was shockingly good as she then dropped back into her normal range. Cockrell’s closing bass work was also excellent. The interplay between Howard and Fogg’s guitar and Cockrell’s bass was the key interest in a funky number\, even as all of the additional performers (and there were a lot\, as I think I counted nine total on stage) added a lot on vocals\, keys\, and drums. Some bands thrive in a live setting\, and Alabama Shakes was showing they are definitely one. Howard switched guitars again and they launched into Hold On and the entire band was into it\, with Howard’s big smile closing it out. (“I love it when y’all sing along\, y’all are so beautiful.”) A quieter song followed before moving back to the faster tempo songs. The fastest song yet in The Greatest\, which had everyone tromping along until a purposeful slowed tempo in the middle\, that then gave way to the original speed and a frenzied ending. At some point\, Fogg had also changed guitars; I think to one of the ones Howard had been playing. A very appreciative Howard introduced the band before going into a very R&B intro guitar lick. One last guitar switch and the band was nearly done\, with a powerful closer\, Gimme All Your Love.”\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:Jax: The Chameleons at Jack Rabbits (April 26\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:The Chameleons (April 26\, 2026)\n \n\nExplore More\n■ The ChameleonsThe Chameleons are an English rock band formed in Middleton\, Greater Manchester\, in 1981. The band’s classic line-up consisted of bassist and vocalist Mark Burgess\, guitarists Reginald Smithies and Dave Fielding and drummer John Lever. \n\n\n\n\nApril 26\, 2026 SundayThe Chameleons\nwith The Veldtat Jack Rabbitsjaxlive.com\n\nManchester’s Chameleons is headlining Jack Rabbits\, in Jacksonville\, in support of their latest album Arctic Moon (Metropolis Records). You can read our review of the record here.\n\n Chameleons at recordBar\, Kansas City MO (04 November 2024) \n\nWe saw the band in November 2024 and wrote\, “Despite the absence of Dave Fielding and missing drummer John Lever (who died in 2017)\, the band faithfully reprised their seminal album\, with many in the crowd still remembering the old lyrics enough to sing along\, especially on singles “Mad Jack” (which opens the record)\, first single\, “Tears” and second side opener\, “Swamp Thing”. Although the band was well-known in Europe and the UK\, they missed many radars in the US compared to their Manchester cohorts of the day- i.e. The Smiths\, Joy Division/New Order\, The Stone Roses- perhaps due to Strange Times not being available on CD until seven years later\, in 1993. The post-punk punch that begins the album does wane towards its end\, towards the gentler and retrospective\, as on “Childhood” and “I’ll Remember”\, but energy again increased as the band played its brand-new song\, “Where are You?”\, released in May as a three-song EP via Metropolis Records. It’s also the first single from a planned new forthcoming full album\, “Arctic Moon” and brought momentum up one last time before the encore.”\n\n The Veldt \n\nThe Veldt was previously announced will be the support for this North American tour. We haven’t seen the band since March 2017 when they opened for Phantogram: “The evening began with a welcome return of experimental shoegazing soul band The Veldt and a too brief thirty-five minute set that truly showed their music was ahead of its time. Formed in the mid-80’s in Raleigh\, NC\, the group led by the Chavis brothers (Daniel and Danny) have influences that lean from Prince to Echo and the Bunnymen\, Otis Redding to My Bloody Valentine\, and were on labels like Capitol\, Mammoth\, and Mercury during the ‘90s. Layered experimental sounds coming from artists like The Weeknd\, Anderson .Paak and Miguel\, are just catching up to what The Veldt was exploring twenty years prior.”\nTour Dates\n\nApr 7 Minneapolis\, MN Varsity Theater\nApr 8 Madison\, WI Majestic Theatre\nApr 10 Chicago\, IL Lincoln Hall\nApr 11 Detroit\, MI The Magic Stick\nApr 12 Toronto\, ON Mod Club\nApr 13 Montreal\, QC Théâtre Fairmount\nApr 14 Somerville\, MA Crystal Ballroom\nApr 16 Brooklyn\, NY Warsaw\nApr 17 Washington\, DC Black Cat\nApr 18 Philadelphia\, PA Underground Arts\nApr 19 Asbury Park\, NJ The Stone Pony\nApr 20 Richmond\, VA Richmond Music Hall\nApr 21 Durham\, NC Motorco Music Hall\nApr 23 Tampa\, FL New World Music Hall\nApr 24 Orlando\, FL The Social\nApr 25 West Palm Beach\, FL Respectable Street\nApr 26 Jacksonville\, FL Jack Rabbits\nApr 27 Atlanta\, GA Center Stage – The Loft\nApr 28 Nashville\, TN The Basement East\nApr 30 Fort Worth\, TX Tulips\nMay 1 Austin\, TX Mohawk (outside)\nMay 2 Houston\, TX Numbers\n \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

Courtney and band worked hard to get the still-filling room into his corner and pulled it off with songs like his initial single\, ‘Glitter & Gold’ and even pulled a move out of the Tantrums playbook during hit\, ‘Fire’ (heard in the Bradley Cooper chef movie\, Burnt as well) by having everyone huddle low on the ground\, before exploding up for the song’s chorus. SUMMARY:Mpls: Colin James at The Parkway Theater (Apr 26\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Colin James at The Parkway Theater (Apr 26\, 2026)\n\n\nApril 26\, 2026 Sunday\nColin James\nwith Matt Andersen and Terra Lightfootat The Parkway Theater\ntheparkwaytheater.com\n\nCanadian blues/rock guitarist Colin James will be headlining the Parkway Theater\, in Minneapolis\, on April 26\, 2026\, as part of a make-up date for his unexpected cancellation of his 2024 tour due to a car accident.\n\n\nDetails from venue:\n\n\n\nMulti-award-winning blues/rock guitarist Colin James’ last US tour in 2024 was cut short due to an automobile accident. Now fully recovered he’s bringing his exciting blend of blues and rock music to fans in the States with the upcoming “Coast to Coast Tour” in April and May. Joining him on the tour are Matt Andersen and Terra Lightfoot to celebrate the rich legacy of electrifying Canadian blues and roots music. \nThe “Coast to Coast Tour” starring Colin James\, Matt Andersen and Terra Lightfoot brings these friends and fellow musicians together for an 18-city US Spring 2026 cross-country tour celebrating blues and folk to rock and soul. Audiences can expect powerful individual sets and inspired collaborative performances from three of Canada’s most acclaimed and distinctive roots artists. The “Coast to Coast Tour” honors the enduring power of music to cross borders\, generations\, and traditions – live on stage!\n \n\n\n\n Terra Lightfoot \n\n\nWe saw Terra Lightfoot in June 2018 and wrote\, “Hamilton\, ONT singer-songwriter Terra Lightfoot was first up\, with band and well-traveled SG guitar named “Veronica” in tow\, in support of last fall’s New Mistakes (Sonic Unyon / Sony Music). Lightfoot (no relation to fellow Canuck Gordon) has a rootsy blues sound\, and guitar work that is confident and often roaring with swagger. With stomping songs like ‘Paradise’\, this is a storm from the great white north worth catching the next time through. ”\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

SUMMARY:Mpls: James McMurtry at Fine Line (Apr 28\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:James McMurtry at Fine Line (Apr 28\, 2026)\n\n\nApril 28\, 2026 Tuesday\n James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review\nwith BettySooat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n\n James McMurtry is back\, and billed as James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review\, will be headlining the Fine Line\, in Minneapolis\, on April 28\, 2026.\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n\n James McMurtry \n\n\nWe caught James McMurtry in April 2025 and wrote\, “After singing “Memento” from an upcoming new album\, Soo was joined on stage by James McMurtry to sing one of his songs “Gulf Road.” It was apparent why McMurtry chose to bring Soo on the road with him. Even though their physical presence couldn’t be anymore different\, their voices blend so nicely you can feel the musical kinship. McMurtry is one of those musicians that can entertain a crowd with just an acoustic guitar\, but he was joined on stage with a few of his friends: Cornbread on bass\, Daren Hess on drums and Tim Holt on guitar and accordion. And right out of the gate they charged ahead with “Fuller Brush Man”\, a big rock and roll song sounding like an eight-cylinder Cadillac barreling through the Texas plains. Unlike Soo\, McMurtry was more laconic when it came to audience interaction. He introduced “Black Dog and Wandering Boy” from his latest same-named album as a song about modern medicine.”\n\nTour Dates\n\n3/25 – Easton\, MD – Avalon Theatre\n3/26 – Ardmore\, PA – Ardmore Music Hall\n3/27 – Fairfield\, CT – StageOne\n3/28 – Fall River\, MA – Narrows Center for the Arts\n3/31 – Portland\, ME – One Longfellow Square\n4/1 – So. This obviously wasn’t their first rodeo\, playing plenty of tracks from across their 11 albums\, including a few from their latest Rev album (available on Victory Records). For those not familiar with the Heat\, the trio is built around Jim “Horton” Heath. His music is reflected in his love for good old fashion Country & Western and Honky Tonk music. He crafted a sound that pioneered what we know as modern-day rockabilly and psychobilly. It was pretty amazing to watch the way Health played his guitar. It was effortless\, he can be looking at the upright bassist Jimbo Wallace\, pose for a photo\, winked at a girl\, and all the time playing complicated notes with his fingers were running up and down the neck of the guitar like it was nothing.”\n\n\nBlack Joe Lewis and Piñata Protest to open. \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

Then he played the Minneapolis flavored “Slide” the song from his latest album that earned him his 21st #1 single on the Billboard Smooth Jazz chart. Boney James may have started out playing the keyboard with Morris Day\, but he has made his living playing his tenor and soprano saxophones. And throughout the evening he moved about the stage to the edges to make sure that those who were far in the back had a chance to see him as he played the title to his new album as well as “After the Rain.” And since it was almost Thanksgiving\, he threw in a Christmas song\, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.””\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

DESCRIPTION:The Lemon Twigs at Fine Line (May 1\, 2026)\n\n\nMay 1\, 2026 Friday\n The Lemon Twigs\nwith Josephine Networkat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n\n The Lemon Twigs returns to Minneapolis\, playing the Fine Line\, on May 1\, 2026.\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n The Lemon Twigs \n\n\nWe first saw the Lemon Twigs in Oct 2016 and wrote\, “I’m not going to lie\, but the biggest buzz band I’ve seen in a long time\, has got to be The Lemon Twigs. Almost immediately\, the dancefloor was filled to the walls of curious onlookers and fans who thought the Lemon Twigs was the best thing since sliced bread. They were pretty good\, actually\, sounding a bit like the Beatles and a bit like Belle & Sebastian (the orchestra-ness) if they came from the 70’s. It’s such a great sound. The New York band consists of two brothers Brian D’Addario (guitar\, keyboards\, vocals\, drums\, horns\, strings) and Michael D’Addario (guitar\, keyboards\, vocals\, drums)\, with help from Danny Ayala (keyboards)\, and Megan Zeankowski (bass).”\n\n\nJosephine Network to open.\nTour Dates\n\n04/24 – Montreal\, QC @ Théâtre Beanfield\n04/25 – Toronto\, ON @ The Concert Hall\n04/27 – Ann Arbor\, MI @ The Blind Pig\n04/29 – Indianapolis\, IN @ Turntable\n04/30 – Milwaukee\, WI @ Turner Hall Ballroom\n05/01 – Minneapolis\, MN @ Fine Line\n05/02 – Chicago\, IL @ Metro Chicago\n05/04 – Newport\, KY @ The Southgate House Revival\n05/05 – Columbus\, OH @ A&R Music Bar\n05/07 – Philadelphia\, PA @ Union Transfer\n05/09 – Washington\, DC @ 9:30 Club (Early Show)\n05/18 – Nottingham\, UK @ Rescue Rooms\n05/19 – Norwich\, UK @ The Waterfront\n05/20 – London\, UK @ O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire\n05/22 – Leeds\, UK @ Brudenell Social Club\n05/23 – Leeds\, UK @ Brudenell Social Club\n05/24 – Newcastle\, UK @ Boiler Shop\n05/26 – Dublin\, IE @ Vicar Street\n05/27 – Belfast\, UK @ Belfast Empire Music Hall\n05/29 – Glasgow\, UK @ Queen Margaret Union\n05/30 – Manchester\, UK @ Academy 2\n06/11 – Seattle\, WA @ Neptune Theatre\n06/12 – Vancouver\, BC @ The Pearl\n06/13 – Portland\, OR @ Revolution Hall\n06/16 – Sacramento\, CA @ Harlow’s\n06/17 – San Francisco\, CA @ The Fillmore\n06/19 – Santa Ana\, CA @ GARDEN AMP\n06/20 – San Diego\, CA @ Music Box\n \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

DESCRIPTION:AFI at First Avenue (May 2\, 2026)\n\n\nMay 2\, 2026 Saturday\nAFI\nwith Choir Boy\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nFan-favorite AFI is back with Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… (Run For Cover Records)\, and doing a tour (their first tour since 2021) in support of the record. The tour will stop by First Avenue\, on May 2\, 2026\, with Choir Boy as support. \n\n The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n\n AFI at First Avenue\, Minneapolis (30 Jan 2017) \n\n\nWe saw AFI in Feb 2017 and said\, “As for AFI\, they started in 1991\, led by singer Davey Havok. Currently the band features only two original members\, Havok and drummer Adam Carson. The band broke mainstream success with Sing The Sorrow in 2003\, but the truth is that they already had millions of fans leading up to their breakout album. Of course\, like most bands that started very young\, Davey Havok’s influences changed over time… particularly moving away from their hardcore punk roots to something more like “Alt Press” type sound. Still\, hearing AFI’s fans all sing to every song\, including new songs\, tells me a lot about their fanbase. They are a hardcore\, dedicated fanbase and they love every AFI songs\, from old to new.”\n\n\nChoir Boy to open.\n \nTour Dates\n\n04/15 – Seattle\, WA @ Showbox SoDo*\n04/17 – Portland\, OR @ Roseland Theater*\n04/18 – Vancouver\, BC @ The Commodore Ballroom*\n04/21 – Missoula\, MT @ The Wilma*\n04/22 – Boise\, ID @ Knitting Factory Boise*\n04/25 – Las Vegas\, NV @ Sick New World Festival\n04/27 – Albuquerque\, NM @ El Rey*\n04/28 – Boulder\, CO @ Boulder Theater*\n04/30 – Omaha\, NE @ The Admiral*\n05/01 – Kansas City\, MO @ The Truman*\n05/02 – Minneapolis\, MN @ First Avenue*\n10/24 – Fort Worth\, TX @ Sick New World Festival\n \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...

The night began positively and upbeat showcasing an album singer AC Newman describes as a “celebration record” and proved to be the perfect prescription to come in out of the cold for. Singer Neko Case\, who dressed in a gray t-shirt and Cleopatra-print leggings (which were all the talk after\, on social media) and Newman both commented before the jumpy new ‘Dancehall Domine’\, “we’ve had a lot of cupcakes\, so we’re bouncing’ off the walls”\, to the crowd’s chagrin.”\n\n\nWill Sheff (of Okkervil River) to open.\n \n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading...
