SUMMARY:Mpls: Vacation Manor at 7th St Entry (Jul 31\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Vacation Manor at 7th St Entry (Jul 31\, 2026)\n\n\nJuly 31\, 2026 Friday\n Vacation Manor\nwith Nolen Durham\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nVirginia indie-rock duo Vacation Manor will be headlining the 7th Street Entry\, on July 31\, 2026.\n\n\nThe last we heard from the duo was their EP Back to Town released on Nettwerk. The release was elf-produced by Nathan Towles [guitar\, vocals] and Cole Young [drums] over the past two years\, celebrating their 10 years as a band.\n\n\nNathan shares:\n\n\nWe’ve always set out to make records that feel personal and honest. Simply put\, ‘Back to Town’ was my way of reconciling the past\, trying to live into the present\, and have a sense of optimism for the future. Sonically this collection of songs draws from a lot of our main influences (The Sundays\, Wilco\, The Cure\, Brandon Flowers\, Oasis\, Nick Drake\, etc.) in a way that felt authentic to us.\n\n\n\n\nNolen Durham to open.\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

DESCRIPTION:Faouzia at Fine Line (Aug 1\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 1\, 2026 Saturday \n Faouzia\nat Fine Line\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nInternationally renowned vocalist\, songwriter\, and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Faouzia is headlining the Fine Line\, on August 1\, 2026.\n\n\n Faouzia \n\n\nWe saw Faouzia in Oct 2022 and wrote\, “Faouzia came on stage to a room full of screaming teenagers. Faouzia looked pleased at the sold out show\, and said that it’s an honor to have Minneapolis as her first American show. You see\, Minneapolis was her very first road trip with her family. She visited the Mall of America\, so she has a soft spot for the state. Most of Faouzia’s set featured songs from Citizens\, which fans helping to sing along to the singles\, like “RIP\, Love” and “Thick and Thin.” Faouzia first became famous at the age of 15\, winning various awards. Her first single\, “Knock on My Door” came out in 2015\, and recently\, she released her deeply personal single\, “Habibi (My Love)”. It’s simply a love song\, as Faouzia said\, “to remind those closest to me how priceless and valuable their love is. I used the word ‘Habibi’ (which means ‘my love’) since it’s an Arabic term I use (as well as anyone who speaks the language) and it is very authentic and real to me.””\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. Typically with supergroups\, it’s a rare thing to see them all together\, because each individual has their own project and schedule.\n\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n \n\n\nMelvins to open. We saw the band in April 2016 and noted\, “Second to play Sunday night was The Melvins. These guys have a huge following in Minneapolis. I truly thought they were from here but apparently that’s not true at all\, people up here just really\, really like them and you could tell by watching the crowd. Singer and guitarist Buzz Osborne\, aka King Buzzo (dressed in an illuminati robe)\, and was joined on stage by bassist Steven Shane McDonald and Dale Crover (the latter two wearing t-shirts with their first name). Fun fact\, McDonald is normally the bassist to the legendary Redd Kross…. and was probably the reason why the Melvins covered “Frosted Flake” on their set.”\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Twin Cities Irish Fest at Harriet Island (August 7-9\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Twin Cities Irish Fest at Harriet Island (August 7-9\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 4\, 2026 Tuesday\n Twin Cities Irish Fest\nat Harriet Island\ntwincitiesirishfest.com\n\n Twin Cities Irish Fest is the new name\, new look\, new branding for the Irish Fair of Minnesota. Everything’s new\, but still grounded in their goal “to promote and preserve Irish culture by creating exceptional experiences that bring people together from Minnesota and beyond in the spirit of joy and discovery.”\n\n\nThis year’s festival will take place from August 7-9 on Harriet Island along the Mississippi River in St. Paul\, Minnesota. Early bands announced are Gaelic Storm\, Chasing Abbey\, 11-piece all-female Irish traditional music supergroup Biird\, Seo Linn\, and new band Howley (formed by the brothers of We Banjo 3. \n\n Gaelic Storm \n\n\nWe previously caught Gaelic Storm in Mar 2025\, and wrote\, “Gaelic Storm is on their “Roll out the Barrel” Tour… which is rolling out the barrel of fun. In fact\, before the band took the Pantages stage\, their walk on music was “Beer Barrel Polka” to get us in the mood for the theme. The Celtic band started in Santa Monica\, playing traditional Irish and Scottish music\, as well as writing original Celtic folk and rock songs. Their music debut in the Titanic (1997) soundtrack\, and since then have been bringing their music to a wide audience as a touring band… Murphy is very charismatic\, often going very goofy facial expressions and always joking. Being the only original band member he does stand out a little\, as the rest of the band looks very young\, such as Natalya Kay standing beside Pete Purvis and Parker Hastings (who replaced Twigger). In Gaelic Storm tradition\, the band is known as being a live band. Many of the fans in the audience have seen the band at least once or twice… so they keep returning whenever Gaelic Storm is in town. They have a very strong fanbase in Minneapolis\, so\, of course\, you can expect them to return on their next tour.”\n\n\nSchedule Details (Music):\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday (Aug 7)\n\n\nSaturday (Aug 8)\n\n\nSunday (Aug 9)\n\n\n\nThe High Kings \nChasing Abbey\nBiird\n\n\nHowley \nGaelic Storm\nTophouse\n\n\nPaddy Wagon\nSeo Linn\nSeo Linn\n\n\nBoiled In Lead\nBiird\nBonnie Drunken Lad \n\n\nSorcha\nHowley\nThe Northerly Gales \n\n\nLegacy\nWild Colonial Bhoys\nDòrian\n\n\nAdrienne O’Shea\nSorcha\nFiddle and Flannels \n\n\nHounds of Finn\nHounds of Finn\nAlec Collins\n\n\nMactir Academy of Irish Dance\nRelease the Craicen\nTodd Menton\n\n\nIrish Diplomacy\nSesiún\nSesiún\n\n\nBand O’Barley\nAdrienne O’Shea\nKindered Cresent\n\n\nHounds of Finn\nThe Sweet Colleens\nFolo Glas\n\n\nSesiún\nRiver City Rovers\nTune Pals\n\n\n\nThe Inland Seas \nBand O’Barley\n\n\n\nDylan Walshe\nBrian Boru Irish Pipe Band \n\n\n\nPhil Platt\, Lilting\n\n\n\n\nRúpálaí\n\n\n\n\nTwin Prop Jane \n\n\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Jax: Saidan at The Albatross (Aug 7\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Japanese horror-inspired USBM outfit SAIDAN will be releasing its highly anticipated fourth LP\, ‘FANGDRILLER: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist\,’ on June 19 via Avantgarde Music! The band is now unveiling the cinematic new single\, “Ethereal Blood\,” along with a music video\, which can be found at THIS LOCATION. \nA prequel to 2023’s ‘Visual Kill\,’ ‘FANGDRILLER’ follows The Student (Junko) as she tries to heal her fractured heart. Haunted by wistful solitude\, her isolation makes her the perfect victim for a mysterious cult known as Ethereal Blood. \nSAIDAN vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk comments\, “‘Ethereal Blood’ is an essential part of the conceptual identity of ‘Fangdriller.’ Whereas many of the other songs on the album use metaphorical imagery to explain where I was emotionally at the time\, ‘Ethereal Blood’ is a perverse initiation into something seemingly pure\, yet shrouded in violent isolation.” \nWhile lyrically dealing with topics of depression\, heartbreak\, loss\, and loneliness\, the album is musically inspired by the lo-fi nature of classic Visual Kei and gothic black metal. Saidan strives to deliver an album that sounds nostalgic for an era of music that doesn’t exist. Blistering solos\, deranged vocals\, anthemic-riffage\, and diabolical drumming are slammed together with doses of modern breakcore and wrapped in a black metal bow\, garnering a feeling of familiarity while offering something that’s boldly unique. \nMoreover\, SAIDAN will be embarking on a U.S. tour in support of prolific atmospheric black metal band Trhä along with Barbelith. The trek will kick off on July 23 in Indianapolis\, IN and will lay waste through the East Coast and parts of the midwest until the final stop on August 8 in Charlotte\, NC. SUMMARY:Mpls: Empire of the Sun at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Aug 14\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Empire of the Sun at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Aug 14\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 14\, 2026 Friday\n Empire of the Sun\nat Mystic Lake Amphitheater\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nAustralia’s Empire of the Sun returns to America with their latest show called That God: Afterlife 2026.\n\n\n Empire of the Sun at the State Theatre\, Minneapolis (09/16/13) \n\n\nWe saw the band in Sep 2013 and wrote\, “Empire of the Sun started shortly after 8pm with a drummer and keyboard/bassist and two dancers\, warming up to “Lux”. Then\, like a Christ-figure\, Luke Steele is slowly risen via a platform with his helmet and costume\, as two additional dancers are revealed. What an entrance! There were a few technical difficulties plaguing the show\, including Luke Steele’s guitar not working out and microphone mix issues\, but overall\, the synchronized dancing\, light show\, smoke\, and overall theatrics made up for any issues. The thing I noticed and mentioned in the audio recording\, is that each song and set piece were all planned and designed for\, indicating to me that Luke Steele (or whoever is the creative force behind it) has this amazing vision for this band. You can tell they worked really hard on the setlist\, the dance routine and especially the costumes. It wasn’t just the band on stage\, the audience was also part of the event\, with a few fans dressing up for the occasion (the face makeup\, the funky headbands\, etc).” \n\n\n\nEMPIRE OF THE SUN FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES\n8/1 – Montreal\, QC – Osheaga\n8/7 – Aspen\, CO – Up in the Sky\n8/7 – 8/9 – San Francisco\, CA – Outside Lands \nEMPIRE OF THE SUN – ASK THAT GOD TOUR: AFTERLIFE\nPolo & Pan and Midnight Generation will support on all headline dates\n8/11 – Morrison\, CO – Red Rocks Amphitheatre\n8/14 – Shakopee\, MN – Mystic Lake Amphitheater\n8/16 – Kansas City\, MO – Morton Amphitheater\n8/18 – Milwaukee\, WI – BMO Pavilion\n8/20 – Sterling Heights\, MI – Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre\n8/21 – Cuyahoga Falls\, OH – Blossom Music Center\n8/23 – Cincinnati\, OH – Riverbend Music Center\n8/25 – Toronto\, ON – RBC Amphitheatre\n8/28 – Mansfield\, MA – Xfinity Center\n8/29 – Queens\, NY – Forest Hills Stadium\n8/30 – Wantagh\, NY – Northwell at Jones Beach Theater\n9/2 – Holmdel\, NJ – PNC Bank Arts Center\n9/4 – Columbia\, MD – Merriweather Post Pavilion\n9/5 – Philadelphia\, PA – TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann\n9/6 – Raleigh\, NC – Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek\n9/9 – Charlotte\, NC – Truliant Amphitheater\n9/10 – Richmond\, VA – Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront\n9/12 – Birmingham\, AL – Coca-Cola Amphitheater\n9/13 – Alpharetta\, GA – Ameris Bank Amphitheatre\n9/16 – Miami\, FL – FPL Solar Amphitheater\n9/17 – Tampa\, FL – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre\n9/20 – Dallas\, TX – Dos Equis Pavilion\n9/21 – Austin\, TX – Moody Center\n9/24 – Houston\, TX – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Sponsored by Huntsman\n9/26 – Rogers\, AR – Walmart AMP\n9/29 – Phoenix\, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre\n10/1 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre\n10/3 – Bend\, OR – Hayden Homes Amphitheater\n10/7 – San Diego\, CA – Gallagher Square at Petco Park\n10/8 – Los Angeles\, CA – Hollywood Bowl\n10/9 – Las Vegas\, NV – PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: The Crane Wives at First Avenue (Aug 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:The Crane Wives at First Avenue (Aug 15\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 15\, 2026 Saturday The Crane Wives\nwith Bryeat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nThe Crane Wives will be returning to Minnesota\, stopping by First Avenue\, on August 15\, 2026.\n\n\nIn related news\, The Crane Wives’ Emilee Petersmark announced a new solo debut projected\, under the stagename Lee Emi. Her song “Black Hole” can be see on YouTube. Stay tuned for more details later this year.\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n The Crane Wives at Palace Theatre\, St Paul MN (July 12\, 2025) \n\n\nWe saw The Crane Wives in July 2025 and wrote\, “They had a brilliantly dramatic set up before getting started\, building the crowd anticipation up before ever coming on stage. But when they did\, it was a stunning opening and Scars was outstanding. Petersmark and Pillsbury played excellently off each other and although one of them may have lead vocals\, their comfort in sharing lead was extremely obvious. The crowd\, particularly the younger teens in the front section were singing along to nearly every song. Bitter Medicine was alarmingly good\, with Petersmark’s “bull sh*t” lyric hitting hard. As the band rolled into older material\, Allies or Enemies had the audience in full throated sing along mode\, with Pillsbury thanking them for joining in. We also got a brief moment as they asked how many people were at their first The Crane Wives concert\, with many hands and screams. A quick question followed if it was anyone’s first ever concert and a surprising number of hands went back in the air. With a “We’ll try to make it a good one”\, the band was back in full action and I can’t find enough ways to say it was simply tremendous.”\n\nBrye to open.\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Summer Jam at Armory (Aug 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Summer Jam\nPresented by: BMN Entertainment\nLineup: G Herbo\, K Camp\, Hunxho\, + more!\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026\nAll ages\nDoors at 6:30 // Show at 8:00 \nhttps://armorymn.com/events/summer-jam/ \nToday\, Detroit rapper Skilla Baby leans into his smooth side on “Face Card” featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller. The slinky bedroom cut reminds us that Skilla is ambitious in every mode\, whether spitting raw bars or holding his own with two modern R&B giants. The new single hails from Skilla’s highly anticipated new album The Price Of Fame\, dropping July 31 via Geffen Records. Pre-save HERE and listen to “Face Card” HERE. \nWith production from Hitmaka (Big Sean\, Lil Wayne) and Aye YB (Ty Dolla $ign\, Kevin Gates)\, “Face Card” is about as luxe as it gets: pillowy layers of deep bass\, aqueous melody\, and silken vocals. Tiller takes the hook (“Said her face card 10\, you the baddest one”)\, and Brown delivers the soaring final verse\, but Skilla anchors the whole thing. His cool delivery lands between their fiery come-ons\, making his pick-up lines hit different: “You too pretty to be trippin’\, you ain’t post to be crying / If they ever say you ugly\, tell them b—–s they lyin’ / I turned your Cartier to a Patek\, I ain’t wasting your time / Girl\, you only twentysomething\, it ain’t even your prime.” \n“Face Time” is a change of pace after last month’s “GYSM” (“get you some money”)\, a lushly produced love song to stacking cash that followed to March’s “West to East” featuring 42 Dugg\, a streetwise ode to resilience and dominance. That uncompromising cut cemented the creative camaraderie between the two Motor City greats\, who linked up earlier this year on Dugg’s celebratory single\, “Thick One.” \nAfter teasing unreleased music on his socials this year\, Skilla recently wiped the slate clean\, posting a featurette (see HERE) about the wages of fame and sparking fan speculation that something big could be coming. Over the past year or so\, the in-demand artist has mostly been spotted stretching out on features like DDG’s “gta\,” Finesse2Tymes’ “Outta My Mind\,” “NBA” with RTB MB and RTB Capo\, and EmanuelDaProphet’s “LIL ANGEL ‘SHE HER’\,” among others. Last month\, he linked up with Detroit’s own Ebony Riley for the steamy “You Better Know.” \nPrior to that\, Skilla dropped his Crack Music 3 mixtape\, which included highlights like “Jwett\,” “Donavan McNabb\,” the 4Batz-assisted “So Bad\,” “Sensual” featuring Toosi\, and “Controversy 2” with Tee Grizzley. Just ahead of the release\, Skilla celebrated his birthday with a pair of hometown shows creative-directed by none other than multihyphenate powerhouse Teyana Taylor. Guests included Sada Baby\, Tee Grizzley\, G Herbo\, YTB Fatt\, Bfb Da Packman\, and more. \nAll of that followed the Deluxe Edition of The Coldest mixtape\, which dropped the same month that Skilla scored the coveted “People’s Champ” fan-voted slot on the XXL 2024 Freshman Class cover. Ever since\, Skilla Baby has turned every high and low into fuel for an unstoppable rise. \nSkilla Baby Live Dates \nJun 19 – Denver\, CO @ The Circuit Summer Kickoff \nJun 21 – Chicago\, IL @ V Live \nJul 03 – Syracuse\, NY @ Westcott Theater \nJul 10 – Detroit\, MI @ The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre ^ \nAug 15 – Minneapolis\, MN @ Summer Jam \n^ supporting G Herbo \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
