SUMMARY:Jax: Easy Honey at Jack Rabbits (August 29\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Charleston\, SC-based indie-rockers Easy Honey have released their rapid-fire five song EP Plaid on the newly-formed Third Brother Records (via Atlantic Records’ 10K Projects). PRESS HERE to listen! Written and recorded over a three-day session at an isolated cabin in snowy Marble\, Colorado and mixed by the legendary Tony Hoffer (Beck Phoenix\, The Kooks\, Air\, M83)\, the tremendous creative power between Easy Honey’s members Selby Austin (vocals\, guitar)\, Darby McGlone (vocals\, guitar)\, Charlie Holt (drums\, vocals) and Webster Austin (bass\, vocals) is on full display on this EP. FLOOD premiered the collection this AM and called it a “swift\, five-song smattering of surf-rock\, basement-indie\, and some harmonica licks for good measure [that] takes the carefree euphoria of summiting a peak and filters it through the melancholy haze of the Dust Bowl. The result? An atmosphere Easy Honey says feels like ‘dusk in western North Carolina'” – PRESS HERE to check it out. \nWhile the quartet is celebrated for their heartfelt\, nostalgic sound\, this versatile collection finds them deepening their musical exploration with a more refined and expansive approach; reflecting a creative concept they’ve dubbed “tilting the cone.” It’s a sampler platter of styles that leaves the listener wanting more\, tethered together by their classic song structures\, instantly memorable hooks and relatable\, raucous yet sentimental lyrics about love\, wistfulness and life’s big moments. \nOpener “Basement Kissing” is a folky indie-rocker laced with harmonica and punctuated by some artful time-signature trickiness. It’s also their attempt to capture the energy of a house show they played in Harrisonburg\, Virginia—and anyone who’s ever been to one would probably agree that they’ve succeeded. Meanwhile\, the sprightly “Everything I See” (which was part of ESPN’s Music of the Month)\, driven by Darby’s funky guitar riff\, was his attempt at pairing darkness and light. The EP packs tons of lyrical concepts and musical adventure into short blasts of classic songwriting: “Pink Lady\,” which Webster says reminds him of an ’80s-era Graham Nash tune\, draws on Darby’s story of innocence and heartbreak; Selby describes the more Americana-leaning “Bonfire Burning” as a “retrospective\, looking-at-your-childhood-type song.” But even at its folkiest\, the track never feels straightforward—a killer chromatic lead guitar line adds a gently woozy atmosphere\, and then there’s the Nick Drake-styled closer “Twilight\,” which melds some Charleston imagery and touring references and Kerouac nods into a meditative life-on-the-road stunner. \n“The cone was the symbol of the last record\, how far we went\,” says Easy Honey. “We had this idea: What if we just go deeper into different genres and it’ll pull us out of ourselves more but also\, in this weird way\, cyclically make us more ourselves? That’s what Plaid is about—these songs are all very different\, but they all intersect in some way.” \nEasy Honey’s catalog is already robust: five EPs\, one live record\, and three studio albums\, including 2024’s critically acclaimed Cupidity Unlimited (check out their Garden & Gun Back Porch Session HERE)\, and as their live shows have taken off with an organic buzz (reaching another level in 2025 when they opened a run of dates for indie-pop artist Carter Vail)\, the band has stayed prolific in the studio\, refining a sound that echoes their name: sweet but thick\, sugary but substantial\, harkening back to a more carefree era of rock music. \nThe band’s Plaid Headline Tour is underway\, with new dates just announced\, and the full routing can be found below \nEASY HONEY UPCOMING SPRING/SUMMER TOUR DATES \nApril 30 – Phoenix\, AZ – Rebel Lounge \nMay 2 – Redondo Beach\, CA – Beach Life Festival \nMay 3 – San Diego\, CA – Voodoo Room @ House of Blues \nMay 5 – San Francisco\, CA – Bottom of the Hill \nMay 7 – Portland\, OR – Polaris Hill \nMay 8 – Seattle\, WA – Baby Yaga \nMay 9 – Boise\, ID – Shrine Social Club – Basement \nMay 11 – Denver\, CO – Lost Lake Lounge \nMay 14 – Houston\, TX – Bronze Peacock @ House of Blues \nMay 15 – Austin\, TX – 29th Street Ballroom \nMay 16 – Grand Prairie\, TX – The Jambox \nMay 17 – Grand Prairie\, TX – The Jambox \nMay 28 – Savannah\, GA – Hop Atomica \nJune 20 – Catonsville\, MD – Music City Summer Fest \nJuly 3 – Milwaukee\, WI – Summerfest \nJuly 25 – Macon\, GA – Bragg Jam Concert Crawl \nJuly 30-31 – Appleton\, WI – Mile of Music Festival \nAugust 2 – Chicago\, IL – Lollapalooza \nAugust 4 – Bethlehem\, PA – Musikfest \nAugust 5 – Wellfleet\, MA – Beachcomber \nAugust 7 – Hampton Beach\, NH – Wally’s \nAugust 9 – Lewes\, DE – Anna’s Coastal Kitchen \nAugust 11 – Philadelphia\, PA – Nikki Lopez \nAugust 13 – Duck\, NC – Swellsa Brewing \nAugust 14 – Wilmington\, NC – Bowstring \nAugust 15 – Charleston\, SC – The Windjammer \nAugust 27 – Miami\, FL – Zey Zey \nAugust 28 – Tampa\, FL – New World \nAugust 29 – Jacksonville\, FL – Jack Rabbits \nAugust 30 – Fernandina Beach\, FL – Tiger Island Room \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Lambchop at Crooners Supper Club (Aug 30\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Lambchop announced recently their highly-anticipated upcoming album\, Punching The Clown\, is set to be released on 21 August 2026 via City Slang. Along with the announcement they shared the lead track ‘Weakened’\, today they have followed up with a new track\, ‘Stella’. \nFollowing the divine heights of its predecessor\, Lambchop’s latest track settles into a state of lush minimalism; guitar and banjo intertwine beneath an omnipresent choir that drifts gracefully throughout the forthcoming album. \nSpeaking of the track Kurt says: “Had a long dream last night where I ended up deep in the woods playing guitar and singing. When I was done and walking back to my car there were a few people in the woods who voiced their approval. Felt pretty good. I have no idea what that was about. Some songs are like dreams\, ‘Stella’ was one of those.” \nThe new album will feature band leader Kurt Wagner alongside Andrew Broder on guitar\, Justin Vernon on banjo\, a full choir helmed by Blake Morgan; recorded and mixed by Mark Nevers and produced by Ryan Olson. \nPurchase the Limited Rough Trade Exclusive here:\nhttps://www.roughtrade.com/artist/lambchop \nUS tour dates:\n28 Jun – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n30 Aug – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n27 Sep – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n29 Sep – Chicago\, IL @ Old Town School of Music / Maurer Hall\n01 Oct – New York City\, NY @ Public Records\n02 Oct – New York City\, NY @ Public Records \nUK + EU tour dates:\n18 Nov – Viseu\, PT @ Teatro Viriato\n19 Nov – Lisbon\, PT @ Culturgest\n21 Nov – Braga\, PT @ Theatro Circo\n22 Nov – Espinho\, PT @ Auditório de Espinho\n24 Nov – Manchester\, UK @ New Century Hall\n25 Nov – Sheffield\, UK @ Octagon\n26 Nov – Gateshead\, UK @ Sage 2\n27 Nov – London\, UK @ Union Chapel – TICKETS (featuring choir)\n28 Nov – London\, UK @ Union Chapel – TICKETS (featuring choir)\n1 Dec – Dudelange\, LU @ Opderschmelz\n2 Dec – Antwerp\, BE @ Arenberg\n3 Dec – Roeselare\, BE @ De Spil\n7 Feb – Oslo\, NO @ Konserthus\n9 Feb – Trondheim\, NO @ Byscenen\n11 Feb – Copenhagen\, DK @ DR Koncerthuset\n12 Feb – Hamburg\, DE @ Christianskirche\n13 Feb – Berlin\, DE @ Passionkirche\n14 Feb – Erlangen\, DE @ Markgrafentheater\n16 Feb – Vienna\, AT @ Theater Akzent\n17 Feb – Budapest\, HU @ House Of Music\n19 Feb – Glasgow\, UK @ St Lukes\n20 Feb – Galway\, IE @ St Nicholas’ Church\n21 Feb – Dublin\, IE @ The Helix \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Peter Hook & The Light at First Avenue (Sep 1\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Peter Hook & The Light at First Avenue (Sep 1\, 2026)\nNorth American Tour 2026\nwith DJ Jake Rudh\nDoors Open\n7PM\nShow Starts\n8PM\nAges\n18+ \nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show. \nPeter Hook Named For Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ahead Of 2026 North American Tour \nThe Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation (rockhall.com) today announced Joy Division and New Order as one of its 2026 inductees\, spotlighting a standout group of artists whose impact has left a lasting mark on music and culture. Peter Hook was a founding member and bass player for both\, playing a critical role in what defined their respective unique sound. \nShares Peter Hook on the news\, “I am so happy about being accepted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame you would not believe it! It’s such a compliment to all the fans of Joy Division and New Order and now it’s been confirmed. My thanks to Ian Curtis\, Rob Gretton and Tony Wilson – your inspiration and hard work has meant everything to me. I will be delighted to be inducted and am looking forward to the night so much! See you there. Peter Hook” \nMeanwhile\, Peter Hook will be returning to the US this August and September with PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT for an extensive 22 date tour where they will perform the New Order album Get Ready in its entirety\, alongside a selection of the most seminal tracks from the rich and extensive back catalogues of both Joy Division and New Order. A new date has been added for Cincinnati to launch the tour on August 22. Tickets are available now at https://peterhookandthelight.live. \nThe Get Ready album was released in 2001 and reached #2 on the US Billboard Electronic album chart and #6 in the UK album chart. It featured singles “Crystal\,” “Someone Like You” and “60 Miles An Hour.” It was the seventh studio album from New Order and was dedicated by the band to Rob Gretton\, manager of both Joy Division and New Order\, who had died in 1999. \n“Get Ready was a honeymoon record. Looking back now it was very enjoyable to make\, and I think is massively underrated. It did sort the wheat from the chaff and led to a New Order mk2 which played better but had lost a naivety whilst gaining a maturity. Barney and I became a ‘power couple’ in Manchester during the making of the record but\, sadly\, the old problems recurred when we came to play live. The writing was on the wall from then on. The two of us worked very hard to make this a great record and I think we succeeded. I am looking forward to playing all the tracks\, many of which had never been played live before these Get Ready dates. The Light will shine through …” PETER HOOK \nPeter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands\, Joy Division and New Order. That dedication to his back catalogue has now seen him move through Unknown Pleasures\, Closer\, Still\, Movement\, Power Corruption & Lies\, Low Life\, Brotherhood\, Technique\, Republic and the Substance albums to arrive at Get Ready in 2025 and 2026. Having toured each album extensively\, the band have now amassed well over 800 shows. \nAmong the many highlights since Peter Hook reintroduced his early repertoire to a legion of audiences across the world\, both new and old\, have been appearances at Benicassim\, Primavera Sound\, Kendal Calling\, Bestival\, Victorious and Rebellion\, alongside extensive touring in Europe\, the UK\, China\, Japan\, North and South America\, Australia and New Zealand to great acclaim from both fans and critics alike. \nGET READY DATES // NORTH AMERICA 2026 \nAUGUST \nSat 22 CINCINNATI\, OH Bogarts\nSun 23 CLEVELAND\, OH The Agora\nThu 27 TORONTO\, ON History\nFri 28 CHICAGO\, IL Metro\nSat 29 CHICAGO\, IL Metro\nMon 31 ROYAL OAK\, MI Royal Oak Music Theatre \nSEPTEMBER \nTue 01 MINNEAPOLIS\, MN First Avenue\nFri 04 BOSTON\, MA Citizens House of Blues\nSat 05 BROOKLYN\, NY Brooklyn Paramount\nMon 07 PHILADELPHIA\, PA Union Transfer\nTue 08 WASHINGTON\, DC 9:30 Club\nThu 10 HOUSTON\, TX White Oak Music Hall\nFri 11 DALLAS\, TX House of Blues\nMon 14 DENVER\, CO Ogden Theatre\nTue 15 PHOENIX\, AZ The Van Buren\nFri 18 DEL MAR\, CA The Sound\nSat 19 LOS ANGELES\, CA Hollywood Palladium\nMon 21 SAN FRANCISCO\, CA The Warfield\nTue 22 SARATOGA\, CA The Mountain Winery\nFri 25 SEATTLE\, WA The Showbox\nSat 26 PORTLAND\, OR McMenamins Crystal Ballroom\nSun 27 VANCOUVER\, BC Commodore Ballroom \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Margaret Glaspy at Fine Line (Sep 11\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Friday\nSep\n11\n2026\nFine Line\nMargaret Glaspy\nThe I Am Both Tour\nwith Anna Tivel\nDoors Open\n7PM\nShow Starts\n8PM\nAges\n18+ \nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show. \nMargaret Glaspy 9/11/26 \n \nGlaspy also announces her first tour in support of I Am Both with dates announced stateside and in the UK and Europe. The North American run kicks off on September 11 in Minneapolis\, MN and concludes in Sellersville\, PA on December 12. Along the way she will stop in Brooklyn for a show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on September 25 and at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on November 17. All shows are listed below. Tickets are on-sale on Friday\, June 5 at 10am local here. \nGlaspy continues to build a body of work that has positioned her among indie rock’s most celebrated songwriters. “Act Natural” the single off her last full-length Echo The Diamond – became the highest-charting AAA radio single of her career and most recently\, legendary critic Robert Christgau selected her EP The Golden Heart Protector as the #1 album of 2025 so far on his annual Dean’s List Substack. \nHer fourth full-length album\, I Am Both emerged from live sessions at New York City’s Reservoir Studios alongside drummer/percussionist Jay Bellerose (Bonnie Raitt\, Robert Plant\, Alison Krauss)\, keyboardist Patrick Warren (Tracy Chapman\, Tom Waits\, Bruce Springsteen)\, and bassist Ross Gallagher (Paula Cole\, Grails). Written largely in longhand and later refined on a typewriter\, I Am Both Glaspy offers an ardent refusal of any outside pressure to compromise her multidimensionality. “I wrote the title track a while ago; the story is based on a female character that I look up to deeply—a woman who contains multitudes while seeing reality very clearly\,” says Glaspy. “It can feel safer to try to fit myself into a category\, but I find that embracing my own complexity is much healthier for me.” That embrace of complexity runs throughout the album’s eleven tracks. \n“When I started writing for this record I had a goal of getting my practice back – to walk the walk in terms of how I envision myself as a songwriter\,” says Glaspy\, a Northern California-bred artist who made her debut with 2016’s lavishly acclaimed Emotions and Math. “At first it was really hard to break that addiction to social media\, but after a while something shifted. It felt like I’d gotten back to original thought instead of being under the influence of so many outside opinions. It was life-changing.” \nThe follow-up to 2023’s Echo the Diamond (hailed by Uncut as “songs that glint like shards of glass yet brim with love\, grief\, courage\, existential doubt and all the stuff that makes us human”)\, I Am Both brings Glaspy’s disarmingly direct vocals and eloquent guitar work to a cathartic form of folk-leaning indie-rock. And like today’s single “Michigan\,” a number of songs on I Am Both unfold as finely detailed story fragments that privilege impression over exposition\, each one etched with a precise emotional truth. \nUltimately\, I Am Both finds Glaspy embracing a more grounded and deeply personal vision of songwriting – one rooted less in expectation or ambition than in connection\, instinct\, and emotional truth. “In any industry\, success is measured by climbing as high as you possibly can\, but these days I think of music as something more like a public service\,” she says. “You show up in city after city and you bring the music with you\, and hopefully it reaches whoever needs to hear it. I feel really honored to be of service in that way.” \nMargaret Glaspy tour dates \n9/11 — Fine Line — Minneapolis\, MN \n9/12 — Vivarium — Milwaukee\, WI \n9/13 — Evanston Folk Fest — Evanston\, IL \n9/14 — The Ark — Ann Arbor\, MI \n9/16 — Mod Club — Toronto\, ON \n9/17 — Beachland Ballroom — Cleveland\, OH \n9/18 — Mr. Smalls — Pittsburgh\, PA \n9/21 — Eddie’s Attic — Atlanta\, GA \n9/22 — Cat’s Cradle — Carrboro\, NC \n9/24 — Iron Horse — Northampton\, MA \n9/25 — Brighton Music Hall — Boston\, MA \n9/26 — Music Hall of Williamsburg — Brooklyn\, NY \n10/9 — Prachtwerk — Berlin\, Germany \n10/11 — TivoliVredenburg (Club Nine) — Utrecht\, Netherlands \n10/12 — Witloof Bar — Brussels\, Belgium \n10/14 — L’Archipel — Paris\, France \n10/16 — St Matthias Church — London\, UK \n10/17 — Halle St. Michael’s — Manchester\, UK \n10/18 — St. Luke’s — Glasgow\, UK \n10/20 — Lantern Hall — Bristol\, UK \n10/21 — Howard Assembly Room — Leeds\, UK \n10/22 — Kitchen Garden Cafe — Birmingham\, UK \n10/23 — Boia Festival @ Tabernacle — St Davids\, UK \n10/26 — Cyprus Avenue — Cork\, Ireland \n10/27 — Upstairs at Dolan’s — Limerick\, Ireland \n10/28 — The Deer’s Head — Belfast\, Ireland \n11/4 — Off Broadway — St. Louis\, MO \n11/5 — Bottleneck — Lawrence\, KS \n11/7 — Ophelia’s — Denver\, CO \n11/9 — Urban Lounge — Salt Lake City\, UT \n11/10 — Shrine Basement — Boise\, ID \n11/12 — Tractor Tavern — Seattle\, WA \n11/13 — Biltmore Cabaret — Vancouver\, BC \n11/14 — Mississippi Studios — Portland\, OR \n11/16 — The Chapel — San Francisco\, CA \n11/17 — Troubadour — Los Angeles\, CA \n11/20 — The 04 Center — Austin\, TX \n11/21 — The Kessler Theater — Dallas\, TX \n12/11 — The Atlantis — Washington\, DC \n12/12 — Sellersville Theater — Sellersville\, PA \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The latest milestone in an extraordinary career spanning 13 albums\, 22 Top 40 UK singles\, three #1 UK albums\, and an array of era-defining anthems like “The Only One I Know\,” “North Country Boy” and “One to Another\,” the album launches a bold new era for the much-beloved British band – Tim Burgess (vocals) Martin Blunt (bass)\, Mark Collins (guitar)\, Tony Rogers (keyboards) and Pete Salisbury (drums) – one that finds them at peace with their past while looking forward to a bright future. Recorded at Wales’s legendary Rockfield Studios and their own Big Mushroom in Middlewich\, Cheshire with producers Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange and Lightspeed Champion)\, Fred Macpherson (Spector\, Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man)\, and Stephen Street (The Smiths\, Blur\, The Cranberries)\, the album honors the highs and the lows of The Charlatans UK’s own mighty legacy\, whilst not being defined by it\, a career-long drive to be progressive and innovative. \nTo herald the upcoming tour\, the band has released a remix of the single “We Are Love” by Ride’s Mark Gardener. \nHailed by Mojo in a four-starred rave as “joy-sparking…it works beautifully\, gently distorting (The Charlatans UK’s) songwriting surfaces with sudden psychedelic sun-spots and experimental flares\,” We Are Love includes such instant classic singles as the Hammond organ-driven “Deeper and Deeper” and the celebratory statement of intent and title track\, “We Are Love\,” both joined by official music videos and electrifying live performances on the UK’s Later…with Jools Holland. \nOne of the most enduring UK bands of the last four decades\, The Charlatans UK are currently poised to embark on the UK/EU leg of their tour in support of We Are Love\, with sold-out dates beginning this Friday\, April 24 at Norwich’s Norwich UEA and then continuing into early May. SUMMARY:Jax: Modest Mouse at The Saint Augustine Amphitheatre (Sep 17\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:The institution that is Modest Mouse has released another song from its forthcoming new album in the form of the quiet gut-punch “Third Side of the Moon.” The track has been a highlight of the band’s live show since it was first introduced two years ago. Frontman Isaac Brock’s vivid lyrical style is the anchor\, its poignant minimalism centering on the oversight of small details: “I can’t remember if your eyes were green or brown or red / ‘cause you always spoke in a whisper and I ain’t so good at listening.” \n“Third Side of the Moon” will appear on An Eraser and A Maze\, the band’s first new album in five years and debut on Glacial Pace Recordings/Virgin Music Group. It will be released on June 5th and was produced by Brock with additional production by Jacknife Lee (REM\, U2)\, Suzy Shinn (Weezer)\, and Justin Raisen (Charli xcx\, Kim Gordon\, Lil Yachty). Previous single “Picking Dragons’ Pockets” has been the most added on Mediabase’s Alternative chart for two consecutive weeks. \nThere’s a theory in physics — the idea that past\, present\, and future all exist simultaneously\, and that the passage of time itself is an illusion. It’s also the best way to understand An Eraser and a Maze\, because you can hear every era of Modest Mouse coexisting at once on it. It might mark the end of a timeline. Or the start of one. Or maybe both at once. \nModest Mouse is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of its debut studio album\, This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing To Talk About. It remains one of the most critically respected bands of the modern era and one that never really fit anywhere – which is precisely why it has mattered so much. \nModest Mouse will bring its critically lauded live show on the road for a North American spring/summer tour beginning May 12th in Spokane\, WA\, including festival stops at Bonnaroo\, Outside Lands and Shaky Knees. SUMMARY:Mpls: Public Image Ltd (PiL) at First Avenue (Sep 22\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:John Lydon’s iconoclastic band\, Public Image Ltd (PiL)\, has announced an extensive tour of North America beginning this fall. Billed as ‘This Is Not…The Final PiL Tour’\, the first leg begins September 3rd in Pioneertown\, and includes Los Angeles\, San Francisco\, Seattle\, Minneapolis\, New York\, Chicago\, Detroit\, Toronto\, Boston\, and other major cities\, concluding October 9th in Nashville\, with a second leg confirmed for February of next year. Tickets for all shows are on sale this Friday\, March 20th at 10am local time\, and are available from all venues and via the band’s website. \nThis year’s tour dates follow the momentum gained in 2025\, when the band played a string of shows and festival appearances in the UK and Europe. Following the passing of his wife\, Nora\, and lifelong friend and manager\, John Rambo Stevens\, both in 2023\, Lydon thought he might retire from touring. However\, he was overwhelmed by the response\, love\, and support of fans and this year is set to be an important one for the band. \nA new live album\, ‘Alive’\, recorded during last year’s tour\, is set for a Spring release (details forthcoming)\, and the band are currently in the studio recording an album of new material for release in early 2027. \nLooking forward to the shows this year\, Lydon said: “After losing Nora\, and Rambo\, I couldn’t see a way through. The thing is\, people were so overwhelmingly positive\, they really showed me a lot of love\, and they asked me to tour PiL again. With so many people asking and with the band meaning so much to them\, I couldn’t just stay on my sofa and not tour – tempting though that obviously is.” \n“We’re looking forward to playing to our friends in North America. It feels like it’s been a long time and we’re pleased to be coming back. We’ve just been into the studio for four weeks to start work on our new record. You’ll be hearing a lot more from PiL.” \nAfter fronting the Sex Pistols\, John Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd (PiL). Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time\, their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums. \nWith a shifting line-up and unique sound – fusing rock\, dance\, folk\, pop and dub – Lydon guided the band from their debut album ‘First Issue’ in 1978 through to 1992’s ‘That What Is Not’\, before a 17-year hiatus. \nLydon reactivated PiL in 2009\, touring extensively and releasing three critically acclaimed albums\, ‘This is PiL’ (2012)\, ‘What The World Needs Now…’ (2015) and ‘End of World’ (2023). \nFollowing the departure of long-serving drummer Bruce Smith at the end of 2023\, his replacement\, Mark Roberts\, joins John Lydon (vocals)\, Lu Edmonds (guitar) and Scott Firth (bass). \nThe full list of PiL’s dates is as follows: \nSeptember 3 – Pioneertown\, CA – Pappy & Harriet’s\nSeptember 5 – Santa Cruz\, CA – Rio Theatre\nSeptember 8 – Santa Ana\, CA – The Observatory\nSeptember 10 – Los Angeles\, CA – The Belasco\nSeptember 11 – San Diego\, CA – House of Blues\nSeptember 12 – San Francisco\, CA – The Fillmore\nSeptember 14 – Portland\, OR – Wonder Ballroom\nSeptember 15 – Seattle\, WA – Neptune Theatre\nSeptember 16 – Boise\, ID – Treefort Music Hall\nSeptember 22 – Minneapolis\, MN – First Avenue\nSeptember 23 – Milwaukee\, WI – Turner Hall Ballroom\nSeptember 25 – Detroit\, MI – St. Andrew’s Hall\nSeptember 26 – Toronto\, ON – Danforth Music Hall\nSeptember 28 – New York\, NY – Webster Hall\nSeptember 29 – Pittsburgh\, PA – Roxian Theatre\nOctober 1 – Washington\, D.C. – 9:30 Club\nOctober 2 – Philadelphia\, PA – Union Transfer\nOctober 3 – Boston\, MA – Paradise Rock Club\nOctober 5 – Richmond\, VA – The National\nOctober 6 — Raleigh\, NC – Lincoln Theatre\nOctober 8 – Atlanta\, GA – Variety Playhouse\nOctober 9 – Nashville\, TN – Brooklyn Bowl \n2027\nFebruary 17 – Salt Lake City\, UT – The Grand At The Complex\nFebruary 18 – Denver\, CO – Gothic Theatre\nFebruary 20 – Oklahoma City\, OK – Tower Theatre\nFebruary 21 – San Antonio\, TX – Aztec Theatre\nFebruary 23 – Austin\, TX – Mohawk\nFebruary 24 – Dallas\, TX – Echo Lounge & Music Hall\nFebruary 25 – Houston\, TX – White Oak Music Hall\nFebruary 27 – March 6 – New Orleans\, LA – The 80’s Cruise 2027\nMarch 8 – St. Petersburg\, FL – Jannus Live\nMarch 9 – Fort Myers\, FL – The Ranch\nMarch 10 – Fort Lauderdale\, FL – Revolution Live\nMarch 12 – Orlando\, FL – The Plaza Live\nMarch 13 – Ponte Vedra Beach\, FL – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall\nMarch 14 – Charlotte\, NC – The Underground\nMarch 16 – Louisville\, KY – Mercury Ballroom\nMarch 17 – Lexington\, KY – Manchester Music Hall\nMarch 19 – St. Louis\, MO – The Sovereign\nMarch 21 – Cincinnati\, OH – Bogart’s\nMarch 23 – Columbus\, OH – Newport Music Hall\nMarch 24 – Cleveland\, OH – Globe Iron \nhttp://www.pilofficial.com\nhttp://www.facebook.com/pilofficial\nhttp://www.instagram.com/pilofficial\nhttp://www.x.com/pilofficial \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Lambchop at Crooners Supper Club (Sep 27\, 2026)

SUMMARY:Mpls: They Might Be Giants at First Avenue (Oct 1\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Explore More\n■ They Might Be Giants\nThey Might Be Giants (TMBG) is an American alternative rock and children’s band formed in 1982 in Brooklyn\, NY\, by core members John Flansburgh and John Linnell. Initially a duo\, the band expanded in the early 1990s and is known for satirical\, offbeat music blending punk\, polka\, and vaudeville. With 23 studio albums\, including their 1986 debut and 1990’s Flood\, TMBG wrote the Malcolm in the Middle theme and won a Grammy for “Here Come the 123s”\n\n\nFor a limited time\, you can grab They Might Be Giants’s Flood Live In America digital download for free via their website www.TMBGshop.com. Read our review of their latest album\, The World Is to Dig.\n\n\n They Might Be Giants \n\n\nDespite being delayed for a over a year\, that was fun to see TMBG play Flood in Oct 2022: “The other thing is that they decided to play Flood\, but in completely random order and out of sequence. Which is fine\, as I recently played the album on shuffle mode and it had the same effect. Each song stands on its own\, they’re all good. Even so-so song “Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love” had something new to offer. The band played this song backward\, in real time. SUMMARY:Jax: Vitamin String Quartet and Girl Named Tom at Florida Theatre (October 1\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Pop-culture-inspired instrumentalists Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) have shared their classical take on SZA’s “Snooze\,” which arrives with a live performance video. It’s the latest offering from their forthcoming album VSQ Performs SZA\, out June 12 via CMH Label Group/Vitamin Records. Featuring hits from the R&B juggernaut’s catalog – including “Kill Bill\,” “Saturn” and “Nobody Gets Me” – the upcoming collection offers 13 string renditions that translate SZA’s emotionally rich songs into a vibe-forward\, cinematic string masterpiece. \nAlong with the new song\, VSQ has announced their “Crazy Ordinary World” Tour this fall with acclaimed vocal trio Girl Named Tom\, with both groups bringing their captivating arrangements to Nashville\, Atlanta\, D.C. and more starting on September 27 – see a full list of dates below. \n“So happy we decided to cover ‘Snooze\,’” says Vitamin String Quartet violist Tom Lea. “I love how this arrangement blossoms like a flower. The lazy flow on this song translates perfectly for a string quartet\, and it takes on a beautiful new life beyond SZA’s world.” \nWith over 2 billion streams and over 1 million physical units sold\, VSQ is “altering the definition of classical music in the public record\,” according to Slate\, with Variety agreeing that they’ve “reached a mainstream\, global audience.” The quartet is fresh off high-profile placements in season four of the Netflix and Shondaland original hit series Bridgerton\, which featured their iconic reimaginings of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control\,” Coldplay’s “Life In Technicolor\,” Third Eye Blind’s “Never Let You Go” and Paramore’s “All I Wanted.” They’ve performed some of their beloved renditions for The TODAY Show\, Jam In The Van and FLOOD Magazine. \nAcross over 300 releases\, Vitamin String Quartet have produced cutting-edge string renditions of a highly eclectic mix of artists\, erasing boundaries between classical\, dance\, hip-hop\, rock\, and pop. From Lil Nas X to Björk\, Studio Ghibli to My Chemical Romance\, VSQ approaches their renditions with respect and care\, breathing new life into music they already love. \nThe group has recently been on a prolific creative streak\, releasing their vinyl-only compilation VSQ Performs The Weeknd earlier this year\, and 2025 releases include VSQ Performs KPop Demon Hunters\, VSQ Performs Billie Eilish\, VSQ Performs BLACKPINK\, VSQ Performs the Hits of 2025\, and VSQ Performs Frank Ocean. To date\, VSQ has had 11 Billboard charting albums\, with their 2024 release VSQ Performs Taylor Swift hitting #1 on both the Classical and Classical Crossover charts. \n“Crazy Ordinary World” Tour with Girl Named Tom: \nSeptember 27 – Nashville\, TN – Schermerhorn Symphony Center\nSeptember 30 – Tampa\, FL – Straz Center for the Performing Arts – Ferguson Hall\nOctober 1 – Jacksonville\, FL – Florida Theatre\nOctober 2 – Greensboro\, NC – The Carolina Theatre\nOctober 4 – Charlotte\, NC – Carolina Theatre\nOctober 6 – Wilmington\, NC – The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College\nOctober 7 – Washington\, D.C. – Lincoln Theatre\nOctober 9 – Lancaster\, PA – American Music Theatre\nOctober 11 – Atlanta\, GA – Atlanta Symphony Hall\nOctober 14 – Portsmouth\, NH – The Music Hall\nOctober 15 – Morristown\, NJ – Mayo Performing Arts Center\nOctober 16 – Great Barrington\, MA – The Mahaiwe Theatre\nOctober 17 – New Haven\, CT – Shubert Theater\nOctober 18 – Bethlehem\, PA – Musikfest Café\nOctober 20 – Columbus\, OH – Southern Theatre\nOctober 21 – Athens\, OH – Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium\nOctober 22 – Cincinnati\, OH – The Ludlow Garage\nOctober 23 – Wabash\, IN – Honeywell Center – Ford Theater\nOctober 26 – Skokie\, IL – North Shore Center for the Performing Arts +\nNovember 13 – Anchorage\, AK – Alaska Center for the Performing Arts +\nNovember 14 – Fairbanks\, AK – Davis Concert Hall + \n+ VSQ only \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

Co-written and produced with Micah Tawlks (COIN/Hayley Williams) and Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves/Teddy Swims)\, along with Ava Suppelsa (Max McNown/Avery Anna)\, the track comes hot on the heels of “Rock Bottom Baby.” The two combined show off some of Day’s most confident and vibrant work to date. \nWith the single Stephen Day has announced a 23-date autumn tour across the U.S.\, kicking off October 3 in Minneapolis\, and running through November 21\, in Denver. \nDiscussing “Back In My Bed” Day notes\, “This song feels like an homage to the music that made me fall in love with playing guitar and writing songs when I was a teenager. I think by nature the guitar part brought out this lyric that I think a lot of my favorite songs are built around. This idea that there’s this one person you just can’t seem to shake or forget and you hope deep down that they feel the same way too.” \nA modern crooner that has been growing his fanbase since debuting with his 2015 EP Undergrad Romance and the Moses in Me while still a sophomore in college. SUMMARY:Mpls: They Might Be Giants at The Fitzgerald Theater (Oct 4\, 2026)
With 23 studio albums\, including their 1986 debut and 1990’s Flood\, TMBG wrote the Malcolm in the Middle theme and won a Grammy for “Here Come the 123s”\n\n\nThey Might Be Giants\n\n\nFor a limited time\, you can grab They Might Be Giants’s Flood Live In America digital download for free via their website www.TMBGshop.com. They would play back the video in reverse during the intermission and it sounded pretty good! Even though they jokingly said\, all we would hear is “Satan Join Us”. I thought I knew the Flood album from start to finish\, so it was also a nice surprise and refreshing to hear a brand-new set of lyrics for “Road Movie to Berlin”\, featuring the line about “the king of liars”. It does throw you off to hear something new\, and now that I’ve heard it\, I wish that was the full song on the record.”\n\n Tour Dates\n\nMay 15 Union Transfer @ Philadelphia\, PA\nMay 16 Union Transfer @ Philadelphia\, PA\nMay 17 Union Transfer @ Philadelphia\, PA\nMay 28 Brooklyn Steel @ Brooklyn\, NY\nMay 29 Brooklyn Steel @ Brooklyn\, NY\nMay 30 Brooklyn Steel @ Brooklyn\, NY\nJun 5 Citizens House of Blues @ Boston\, MA\nJun 6 Citizens House of Blues @ Boston\, MA\nSep 24 Pabst Theater @ Milwaukee\, WI\nSep 25 Pabst Theater @ Milwaukee\, WI\nSep 26 Barrymore Theatre @ Madison\, WI\nSep 27 Barrymore Theatre @ Madison\, WI\nSep 29 The Truman @ Kansas City\, MO\nOct 1 First Avenue @ Minneapolis\, MN\nOct 2 First Avenue @ Minneapolis\, MN\nOct 3 The Fitzgerald Theater @ St Paul\, MN\nOct 4 The Fitzgerald Theater @ St Paul\, MN\nNov 6 Emo’s Austin @ Austin\, TX\nNov 7 Emo’s Austin @ Austin\, TX\nNov 8 Emo’s Austin @ Austin\, TX\nNov 10 The Heights Theater @ Houston\, TX\nNov 11 The Heights Theater @ Houston\, TX\nNov 13 The Echo Lounge & Music Hall @ Dallas\, TX\nNov 14 The Echo Lounge & Music Hall @ Dallas\, TX\nNov 19 9:30 Club @ Washington\, DC\nNov 20 9:30 Club @ Washington\, DC\nNov 21 9:30 Club @ Washington\, DC\nNov 22 9:30 Club @ Washington\, DC \n\n\n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

The contrast between the two creates a dynamic finale that captures the album’s stripped-back intensity\, and is a powerful closing moment for the record. Originally written for Marta’s own album\, Tricky ultimately reclaimed “Out Of Place” for Different When It’s Silent. \nDifferent When It’s Silent follows a prolific period of activity. Since 2020’s Fall to Pieces\, Tricky has released music under several different guises\, including the collaborative project Lonely Guest\, the Fifteen Days project with producer Mike Theis under the name Theis Thaws\, and last year’s joint record Out The Way with Marta\, all via his own label\, False Idols. Yet returning to an album under his own name took on a different shape. \n“In my mind it was another side project” he explains. But after hearing the material\, his manager Alan McGee felt the songs clearly belonged to a Tricky record.\nRecorded between Tricky’s home in France and sessions in Bristol\, the album draws strongly on the musical community that shaped him. Central to its sound is the voice of Bristol singer Mitch Sanders\, whose soulful falsetto runs through much of the record. Their connection reflects a shared musical background and an instinctive chemistry that carries through the performances.\nAcross fourteen tracks\, Tricky blends skeletal blues\, brooding electronics\, distorted guitars and stark hip-hop rhythms into a sound that feels both stripped-back and expansive. The album moves fluidly across styles while maintaining the restless experimentation that has defined his work for more than three decades. \n“I just love making music” Tricky says. “I’m grateful I’ve had the chance to live this life and keep creating.” \nWith Different When It’s Silent\, Tricky delivers one of the most focused and powerful records of his career – a reminder that artists who build their own language never fall out of time. \nSee below for all live shows. \nMay\n12th – Dublin\, Ireland – Vicar St\n15th – London\, UK – Troxy\n16th – Manchester\, UK – Aviva Studios\n17th – Bristol\, UK – Beacon\n23rd – Bydgoszcz\, Poland – Drums Fusion Festival\n24th – Brussels\, Belgium – Ancienne Belgique\n25th – Paris\, France – Trianon\n26th – Lyon\, France – Radiant\n28th – Antwerp\, Belgium – De Roma\n29th – Nijmegen\, The Netherlands – Doornroosje\n30th – Maastricht\, The Netherlands – Muziekgieterij \nJune\n1st – Den Haag\, The Netherlands – Paard\n3rd – Groningen\, The Netherlands – De Oosterpoort\n4th – Berlin\, Germany – Huxleys\n5th – Warsaw\, Poland – Progresja\n7th – Prague\, Czechia – Meet Factory\n8th – Vienna\, Austria – Wuk\n9th – Budapest\, Hungary – A38 Ship\n11th – Bucharest\, Romania – Quantic Pub\n12th – Sofia\, Bulgaria – FOMO the club\n13th – Zagreb\, Croatia – Boogaloo\n14th – Zurich\, Switzerland – Kaufleuten\n16th – Bern\, Switzerland – Bierhübeli\n18th – Hamburg\, Germany – Mojo Club\n20th – Copenhagen\, Denmark – Vega\n24th – Cologne\, Germany – Kantine\n26th – Malmö\, Sweden – Slagthuset\n27th – Uppsala\, Sweden – Parksnäckan\n28th – Gothenburg\, Sweden – Filmstudion \nJuly\n4th – Amarante\, Portugal – Mimo Festival\n9th – Milan\, Italy – Triennale (Palace Of Art) \nAugust\n23rd – Brecon Beacons\, UK – Green Man Festival\n29th – Bristol\, UK – Forwards Festival \nSeptember\n2nd – Vilnius\, Lithuania – Kably’s\n3rd – Riga\, Latvia – Spelet Concert Hall\n4th – Narva\, Estonia – Station Narva Festival\n16th – Detroit\, MI – El Club\n20th – Dallas\, TX – Trees\n21st – Austin\, TX – Mohawk\n23rd – Phoenix\, AZ – Crescent Ballroom\n24th – Los Angeles\, CA – The Bellwether\n28th – Portland\, OR – Wonder Ballroom\n29th – Vancouver\, B.C – Hollywood Theatre\n30th – Seattle\,WA – Neumos \nOctober\n2nd – Salt Lake City\, UT – Commonwealth\n4th – Denver\, CO – Bluebird Theater\n6th – Minneapolis\, MN – Fine Line\n8th – Toronto\, ON – Danforth Music Hall\n9th – Montreal\, QC – Le Studio TD\n11th – Brooklyn\, NY – Brooklyn Steel\n12th – Cambridge\, MA – The Sinclair\n13th – Washington\, D.C – Lincoln Theatre\n15th – Atlanta\, GA.- The Loft at Center Stage \nDifferent When It’s Silent is out July 17th via False Idols. \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Dana and Alden at 7th St Entry (Oct 8\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\nOct\n8\n2026\n7th St Entry\nDana and Alden\nDoors Open\n7PM\nShow Starts\n8PM\nAges\n18+ \nDana and Alden 10/8/26 \n \nJust in time to soundtrack the opening games of the World Cup\, Dana and Alden share their new single “El Gaucho” featuring Brazilian legend Marcos Valle\, and renowned Brazilian musicians Mirella Costa and Zaza Desiderio. The brother jazz duo’s new single is an ode to Dana’s favorite soccer player of all time\, the inimitable Ronaldinho of Brazil\, and exudes the fleet-footed rhythms of the best soccer-inspired anthems led by the percussion prowess of Alden and Rio de Janeiro’s Zaza Desiderio. The song is accompanied by a Weston Borg filmed-and-directed music video shot in Rio de Janeiro that features Marcos Valle\, Mirella Costa and Zaza Desiderio and pays homage to the city of Rio and the magic of Ronaldinho. \n“‘El Gaucho’ was birthed one day when we tracked a Brazilian tune on our tape machine and began to watch Ronaldinho highlights while listening back to it at the insistence of our flautist Salim\,” Alden said of making the song. “The tune embodied his playing style immaculately\, the way he weaved through players and danced with the ball on the field. We brought the song to the legendary Marcos Valle who wrote lyrics and sang on it—a dream come true. Our dear friends Mirella and Zaza added rich layers of harmonies and percussion and wrote the entire outro which became a stadium-like chant section.” \n“El Gaucho” is the third advance stop on the journey that is the duo’s forthcoming album Papa’s Boat\, which is set to arrive August 14th via Concord Jazz. Following “Good Kid” and “Lee’s Greenhouse” featuring Mei Semones\, Dana & Alden’s new single finds the duo teaming up with one of their musical heroes in Marcos Valle\, who they’ve been deeply inspired by since their preteens. Marcos is also featured on “Friendship Is A Boat”. \nLast week\, Dana & Alden announced their Fall headlining Papa’s Boat tour\, which begins September 10th in Vancouver. The run will see them play the biggest headline tour of their career to-date\, spanning shows across North America through November. Their tour is preceded by festival sets at Newport Jazz Fest and Poland’s OFF Festival this Summer. \nPapa’s Boat is not only a personal ode to the brothers’ late maternal grandfather\, it’s a continuation of his wanderlust spirit. Characterized by an adventurous and jubilant album that chronicles his travels both narratively and through sonic references\, Dana and Alden aren’t just paying homage to Papa\, they’re embodying his lust for life into an album that places community\, tactile connection and passion for exploration above all else. Led by the jazz prowess of Dana’s saxophone and Alden’s drums\, the album features a cadre of musician friends new and familiar\, including the aforementioned Marcos Valle\, Zaza Desiderio\, Mirella Costa\, as well as Melanie Charles\, Mei Semones\, and Cinya Khan. \nPapa’s Boat was recorded across London\, New York and Brazil\, with the duo taking musical cues from each of the album’s spiritual homes. With the guidance of Yussef Dayes\, Gilles Peterson and Marcos Valle on their recording trips\, the duo infused the various soundscapes of their travels into an eclectic musical concoction that draws elements from indie rock\, samba\, bossa nova\, jazz\, rap\, pop and more. The album was made with the duo’s backing band\, all of whom were key collaborators and producers on Papa’s Boat: Andrew Mitchell on bass\, Ebba Dankel on vocals and keys\, Eli Torgersen on vocals and guitar\, and Salim Charvet on sax and synths. The album was masterfully engineered by Malcolm Catto at his Quatermass Sound Lab studio in Dalston. \nLace up and hit the field with “El Gaucho” above\, see below for Dana & Alden’s full run of upcoming tour dates and more information on Papa’s Boat. \nUpcoming Dana and Alden Live Dates: \n7/31-8/2 – Newport\, RI @ Newport Jazz Festival \n8/7 – Katowice\, Poland @ OFF Festival \n9/10 – Vancouver\, BC @ The Pearl \n9/11 – Seattle\, WA @ Neumos \n9/12 – Portland\, OR @ The Get Down \n9/14 – Eugene\, OR @ WOW Hall \n9/17 – Salt Lake City\, UT @ Metro Music Hall \n9/19 – Denver\, CO @ Bluebird Theater \n9/22 – San Francisco\, CA @ The Independent \n9/23 – Felton\, CA @ Felton Music Hall \n9/25 – Los Angeles\, CA @ Echoplex \n9/26 – San Diego\, CA @ The Casbah \n9/27 – Phoenix\, AZ @ Crescent Ballroom \n9/29 – San Antonio\, TX @ Paper Tiger \n9/30 – Houston\, TX @ White Oak Music Hall \n10/1 – Austin\, TX @ Antone’s \n10/2 – Dallas\, TX @ Club Dada \n10/3 – New Orleans\, LA @ Chickie Wah Wah \n10/5 – Nashville\, TN @ Cannery Hall (Row One Stage) \n10/7 – Kansas City\, MO @ recordBar \n10/8 – Minneapolis\, MN @ 7th St Entry \n10/9 – Milwaukee\, WI @ The Cactus Club \n10/10 – Chicago\, IL @ Lincoln Hall \n10/13 – Detroit\, MI @ El Club \n10/15 – Cleveland\, OH @ The Grog Shop \n10/16 – Columbus\, OH @ A&R Music Bar \n10/17 – Pittsburgh\, PA @ Mr. Smalls Theatre \n10/19 – Toronto\, ON @ Lee’s Palace \n10/20 – Montreal\, QC @ Theatre Fairmount \n10/22 – Burlington\, VT @ Higher Ground \n10/23 – Boston\, MA @ The Sinclair \n10/25 – Hamden\, CT @ Space Ballroom \n10/27 – Brooklyn\, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg \n10/28 – Philadelphia\, PA @ First Unitarian Church (Sanctuary) \n10/29 – Washington\, DC @ Atlantis \n10/30 – Carrboro\, NC @ Cat’s Cradle (Back Room) \n10/31 – Asheville\, NC @ The Grey Eagle \n11/2 – Atlanta\, GA @ The EARL \n11/5 – Tampa\, FL @ New World Music Hall \n11/6 – Orlando\, FL @ The Social \n11/7 – Miami\, FL @ ZeyZey (Zaku Stage) \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Bebe Stockwell at 7th St Entry (Oct 9\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Friday\nOct\n9\n2026\n7th St Entry\nBebe Stockwell\nwith Khatumu\nDoors Open\n6PM\nShow Starts\n7PM\nAges\nAll Ages \nBebe Stockwell 10/9/26 \n \nRising indie folk singer-songwriter Bebe Stockwell releases her new song “Wild Love” via Columbia Records\, the latest offering from her forthcoming project Volume 1\, available June 26. \nBuilt around warm acoustic textures\, sweeping harmonies\, and Bebe’s captivating vocal delivery\, “Wild Love” captures the exhilarating feeling of giving yourself over completely to love. Inspired by the classic songs she found herself returning to while writing\, the track embraces the untamed\, instinctive side of romance the kind that feels all-consuming in the best possible way. \n“I was listening to a lot of old tunes when I wrote ‘Wild Love\,’” shares Bebe. “I kept coming back to songs that felt timeless and completely swept up in love. I wanted to write something that captured what it feels like to be totally feral and in love when you stop overthinking and just let yourself fall headfirst into it.” \n“Wild Love” offers another glimpse into Volume 1\, an album that further establishes Bebe as one of indie folk’s most compelling emerging voices. Expanding on the introspective world she introduced on her previous EP Driving Backwards\, the project showcases her signature blend of vivid storytelling\, folk-inspired production\, and emotionally grounded songwriting. Across Volume 1\, Bebe explores love\, longing\, self-discovery\, and growing pains with the honesty and warmth that have become hallmarks of her music. \nBebe’s momentum continues to build on the road. Following her recent run supporting Sam Barber on The American Route Tour\, she will spend the summer performing across the U.S.\, the UK\, and Ireland\, including dates supporting Buffalo Traffic Jam and appearances at several festivals. This fall\, she’ll embark on her first North American headline tour\, bringing songs from Volume 1 directly to fans across the country. \nBEBE STOCKWELL FALL 2026 HEADLINE TOUR\nSeptember 21 – Dallas\, TX – Club Dada\nSeptember 22 – Houston\, TX – Bronze Peacock\nSeptember 24 – Austin\, TX – Antone’s\nSeptember 26 – Phoenix\, AZ – Valley Bar\nSeptember 28 – San Diego\, CA – Voodoo Room\nSeptember 29 – Los Angeles\, CA – Moroccan Lounge\nOctober 1 – San Francisco\, CA – Cafe du Nord\nOctober 4 – Portland\, OR – Mississippi Studios\nOctober 5 – Seattle\, WA – Madame Lou’s\nOctober 8 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Kilby Court\nOctober 9 – Minneapolis\, MN – 7th St Entry\nOctober 10 – Denver\, CO – Bluebird Theater\nOctober 15 – Chicago\, IL – Lincoln Hall\nOctober 17 – Nashville\, TN – The Basement East\nOctober 18 – Atlanta\, GA – The Loft\nOctober 21 – Washington\, DC – Union Stage\nOctober 22 – Philadelphia\, PA – The Foundry\nOctober 24 – Boston\, MA – Brighton Music Hall\nOctober 25 – New York\, NY – Bowery Ballroom \nFor more information and tickets\, visit bebestockwellmusic.com.
