We got to see Cowboy Junkies at the Guthrie Theatre\, in Minneapolis\, in 2003. If you’re not familiar with the Minneapolis area\, this is a performance & theater of the arts building. It’s quite big and contains several stages within the building\, so we’ve seen smaller shows like Dar Williams\, to medium sized show like Kid Koala\, to big shows like the musical production of A Christmas Carol. The big stage features a unique thrust stage design that you can see the entire stage\, no matter what seat you were assigned to. It was pretty cool and it was the first time I’ve seen a rock concert with Cowboy Junkies.
