SUMMARY:Mpls: Empire of the Sun at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Aug 14\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Empire of the Sun at Mystic Lake Amphitheater (Aug 14\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 14\, 2026 Friday\n Empire of the Sun\nat Mystic Lake Amphitheater\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nAustralia’s Empire of the Sun returns to America with their latest show called That God: Afterlife 2026.\n\n\n Empire of the Sun at the State Theatre\, Minneapolis (09/16/13) \n\n\nWe saw the band in Sep 2013 and wrote\, “Empire of the Sun started shortly after 8pm with a drummer and keyboard/bassist and two dancers\, warming up to “Lux”. Then\, like a Christ-figure\, Luke Steele is slowly risen via a platform with his helmet and costume\, as two additional dancers are revealed. What an entrance! There were a few technical difficulties plaguing the show\, including Luke Steele’s guitar not working out and microphone mix issues\, but overall\, the synchronized dancing\, light show\, smoke\, and overall theatrics made up for any issues. The thing I noticed and mentioned in the audio recording\, is that each song and set piece were all planned and designed for\, indicating to me that Luke Steele (or whoever is the creative force behind it) has this amazing vision for this band. You can tell they worked really hard on the setlist\, the dance routine and especially the costumes. It wasn’t just the band on stage\, the audience was also part of the event\, with a few fans dressing up for the occasion (the face makeup\, the funky headbands\, etc).” \n\n\n\nEMPIRE OF THE SUN FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES\n8/1 – Montreal\, QC – Osheaga\n8/7 – Aspen\, CO – Up in the Sky\n8/7 – 8/9 – San Francisco\, CA – Outside Lands \nEMPIRE OF THE SUN – ASK THAT GOD TOUR: AFTERLIFE\nPolo & Pan and Midnight Generation will support on all headline dates\n8/11 – Morrison\, CO – Red Rocks Amphitheatre\n8/14 – Shakopee\, MN – Mystic Lake Amphitheater\n8/16 – Kansas City\, MO – Morton Amphitheater\n8/18 – Milwaukee\, WI – BMO Pavilion\n8/20 – Sterling Heights\, MI – Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre\n8/21 – Cuyahoga Falls\, OH – Blossom Music Center\n8/23 – Cincinnati\, OH – Riverbend Music Center\n8/25 – Toronto\, ON – RBC Amphitheatre\n8/28 – Mansfield\, MA – Xfinity Center\n8/29 – Queens\, NY – Forest Hills Stadium\n8/30 – Wantagh\, NY – Northwell at Jones Beach Theater\n9/2 – Holmdel\, NJ – PNC Bank Arts Center\n9/4 – Columbia\, MD – Merriweather Post Pavilion\n9/5 – Philadelphia\, PA – TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann\n9/6 – Raleigh\, NC – Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek\n9/9 – Charlotte\, NC – Truliant Amphitheater\n9/10 – Richmond\, VA – Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront\n9/12 – Birmingham\, AL – Coca-Cola Amphitheater\n9/13 – Alpharetta\, GA – Ameris Bank Amphitheatre\n9/16 – Miami\, FL – FPL Solar Amphitheater\n9/17 – Tampa\, FL – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre\n9/20 – Dallas\, TX – Dos Equis Pavilion\n9/21 – Austin\, TX – Moody Center\n9/24 – Houston\, TX – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Sponsored by Huntsman\n9/26 – Rogers\, AR – Walmart AMP\n9/29 – Phoenix\, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre\n10/1 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre\n10/3 – Bend\, OR – Hayden Homes Amphitheater\n10/7 – San Diego\, CA – Gallagher Square at Petco Park\n10/8 – Los Angeles\, CA – Hollywood Bowl\n10/9 – Las Vegas\, NV – PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: The Crane Wives at First Avenue (Aug 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:The Crane Wives at First Avenue (Aug 15\, 2026)\n\n\nAugust 15\, 2026 Saturday The Crane Wives\nwith Bryeat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com\n\nThe Crane Wives will be returning to Minnesota\, stopping by First Avenue\, on August 15\, 2026.\n\n\nIn related news\, The Crane Wives’ Emilee Petersmark announced a new solo debut projected\, under the stagename Lee Emi. Her song “Black Hole” can be see on YouTube. Stay tuned for more details later this year.\n\nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.\n\n\n\n The Crane Wives at Palace Theatre\, St Paul MN (July 12\, 2025) \n\n\nWe saw The Crane Wives in July 2025 and wrote\, “They had a brilliantly dramatic set up before getting started\, building the crowd anticipation up before ever coming on stage. But when they did\, it was a stunning opening and Scars was outstanding. Petersmark and Pillsbury played excellently off each other and although one of them may have lead vocals\, their comfort in sharing lead was extremely obvious. The crowd\, particularly the younger teens in the front section were singing along to nearly every song. Bitter Medicine was alarmingly good\, with Petersmark’s “bull sh*t” lyric hitting hard. As the band rolled into older material\, Allies or Enemies had the audience in full throated sing along mode\, with Pillsbury thanking them for joining in. We also got a brief moment as they asked how many people were at their first The Crane Wives concert\, with many hands and screams. A quick question followed if it was anyone’s first ever concert and a surprising number of hands went back in the air. With a “We’ll try to make it a good one”\, the band was back in full action and I can’t find enough ways to say it was simply tremendous.”\n\nBrye to open.\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Summer Jam at Armory (Aug 15\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Summer Jam\nPresented by: BMN Entertainment\nLineup: G Herbo\, K Camp\, Hunxho\, + more!\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026\nAll ages\nDoors at 6:30 // Show at 8:00 \nhttps://armorymn.com/events/summer-jam/ \nToday\, Detroit rapper Skilla Baby leans into his smooth side on “Face Card” featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller. The slinky bedroom cut reminds us that Skilla is ambitious in every mode\, whether spitting raw bars or holding his own with two modern R&B giants. The new single hails from Skilla’s highly anticipated new album The Price Of Fame\, dropping July 31 via Geffen Records. Pre-save HERE and listen to “Face Card” HERE. \nWith production from Hitmaka (Big Sean\, Lil Wayne) and Aye YB (Ty Dolla $ign\, Kevin Gates)\, “Face Card” is about as luxe as it gets: pillowy layers of deep bass\, aqueous melody\, and silken vocals. Tiller takes the hook (“Said her face card 10\, you the baddest one”)\, and Brown delivers the soaring final verse\, but Skilla anchors the whole thing. His cool delivery lands between their fiery come-ons\, making his pick-up lines hit different: “You too pretty to be trippin’\, you ain’t post to be crying / If they ever say you ugly\, tell them b—–s they lyin’ / I turned your Cartier to a Patek\, I ain’t wasting your time / Girl\, you only twentysomething\, it ain’t even your prime.” \n“Face Time” is a change of pace after last month’s “GYSM” (“get you some money”)\, a lushly produced love song to stacking cash that followed to March’s “West to East” featuring 42 Dugg\, a streetwise ode to resilience and dominance. That uncompromising cut cemented the creative camaraderie between the two Motor City greats\, who linked up earlier this year on Dugg’s celebratory single\, “Thick One.” \nAfter teasing unreleased music on his socials this year\, Skilla recently wiped the slate clean\, posting a featurette (see HERE) about the wages of fame and sparking fan speculation that something big could be coming. Over the past year or so\, the in-demand artist has mostly been spotted stretching out on features like DDG’s “gta\,” Finesse2Tymes’ “Outta My Mind\,” “NBA” with RTB MB and RTB Capo\, and EmanuelDaProphet’s “LIL ANGEL ‘SHE HER’\,” among others. Last month\, he linked up with Detroit’s own Ebony Riley for the steamy “You Better Know.” \nPrior to that\, Skilla dropped his Crack Music 3 mixtape\, which included highlights like “Jwett\,” “Donavan McNabb\,” the 4Batz-assisted “So Bad\,” “Sensual” featuring Toosi\, and “Controversy 2” with Tee Grizzley. Just ahead of the release\, Skilla celebrated his birthday with a pair of hometown shows creative-directed by none other than multihyphenate powerhouse Teyana Taylor. Guests included Sada Baby\, Tee Grizzley\, G Herbo\, YTB Fatt\, Bfb Da Packman\, and more. \nAll of that followed the Deluxe Edition of The Coldest mixtape\, which dropped the same month that Skilla scored the coveted “People’s Champ” fan-voted slot on the XXL 2024 Freshman Class cover. Ever since\, Skilla Baby has turned every high and low into fuel for an unstoppable rise. \nSkilla Baby Live Dates \nJun 19 – Denver\, CO @ The Circuit Summer Kickoff \nJun 21 – Chicago\, IL @ V Live \nJul 03 – Syracuse\, NY @ Westcott Theater \nJul 10 – Detroit\, MI @ The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre ^ \nAug 15 – Minneapolis\, MN @ Summer Jam \n^ supporting G Herbo \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

Despite getting the FIFA’s made-up “Peace Prize” to pleased Donald Trump\, it is not going well for the World Cup this Summer. There is an ongoing boycott on the World Cup from people around the globe who feels that “the US is not safe to visit.”\n\n\nAll eyes are on Bad Bunny at the upcoming NFL’s Super Bowl LX on February 8th. It’s going to be a doozy to watch\, especially after his Grammy winning.\n\nThe far-right\, pro-MAGA\, pro-ICE musicians\, led by Kid Rock\, with a bunch of people you’ve never heard of\, will be playing their own “All-American Halftime Show”.\n\n\nMeanwhile\, Midwest-emo icons American Football announced a 2026 World Tour. SUMMARY:POW! When UK Punk Went Pop\, 1980-84 (Aug 18\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:POW! When UK Punk Went Pop\, 1980-84\nA memoir by Tony Fletcher \nOut August 18th \nBefore authoring eleven books\, including best-selling biographies of Who drummer Keith Moon\, R.E.M. and the Smiths\, Tony Fletcher was a teenaged music magazine publisher (Jamming!) in his native England. But\, with a degree of industry that sounds absolutely exhausting\, he also ran a record label\, interviewed rock stars\, led a band\, promoted concerts\, worked as an on-air TV interviewer — and still found time for romance. \nFletcher chronicled the early days of his life and career in Boy About Town (2013)\, but he went on to have many more extraordinary experiences\, which are detailed in this colorful and engaging memoir\, where the story gets really interesting. \n1980–’84 was an explosive time in British rock\, as the disruptive energy of bands like the Clash and Sex Pistols gave way to more sophisticated and chart-friendly genres and bands. Fletcher was on the front lines\, attending all the important concerts and meeting the top acts\, many of whom became MTV regulars: Madness\, Dexy’s Midnight Runners\, Wham!\, the Human League\, Echo and the Bunnymen\, Killing Joke Adam and the Ants. Then there’s the time he interviewed Paul McCartney… \nThis is a coming of age story\, the tale of a naïve young man in a cultural whirlwind who learns some hard lessons about business\, journalism\, love and sex – all the while trying to get his own band a record deal. \npaperback $22.95 ISBN 979-8-9990487-7-6\neBook $8.95 ISBN 979-8-9938678-0-9 \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Jax: Easy Honey at Jack Rabbits (August 29\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Charleston\, SC-based indie-rockers Easy Honey have released their rapid-fire five song EP Plaid on the newly-formed Third Brother Records (via Atlantic Records’ 10K Projects). PRESS HERE to listen! Written and recorded over a three-day session at an isolated cabin in snowy Marble\, Colorado and mixed by the legendary Tony Hoffer (Beck Phoenix\, The Kooks\, Air\, M83)\, the tremendous creative power between Easy Honey’s members Selby Austin (vocals\, guitar)\, Darby McGlone (vocals\, guitar)\, Charlie Holt (drums\, vocals) and Webster Austin (bass\, vocals) is on full display on this EP. FLOOD premiered the collection this AM and called it a “swift\, five-song smattering of surf-rock\, basement-indie\, and some harmonica licks for good measure [that] takes the carefree euphoria of summiting a peak and filters it through the melancholy haze of the Dust Bowl. The result? An atmosphere Easy Honey says feels like ‘dusk in western North Carolina'” – PRESS HERE to check it out. \nWhile the quartet is celebrated for their heartfelt\, nostalgic sound\, this versatile collection finds them deepening their musical exploration with a more refined and expansive approach; reflecting a creative concept they’ve dubbed “tilting the cone.” It’s a sampler platter of styles that leaves the listener wanting more\, tethered together by their classic song structures\, instantly memorable hooks and relatable\, raucous yet sentimental lyrics about love\, wistfulness and life’s big moments. \nOpener “Basement Kissing” is a folky indie-rocker laced with harmonica and punctuated by some artful time-signature trickiness. It’s also their attempt to capture the energy of a house show they played in Harrisonburg\, Virginia—and anyone who’s ever been to one would probably agree that they’ve succeeded. Meanwhile\, the sprightly “Everything I See” (which was part of ESPN’s Music of the Month)\, driven by Darby’s funky guitar riff\, was his attempt at pairing darkness and light. The EP packs tons of lyrical concepts and musical adventure into short blasts of classic songwriting: “Pink Lady\,” which Webster says reminds him of an ’80s-era Graham Nash tune\, draws on Darby’s story of innocence and heartbreak; Selby describes the more Americana-leaning “Bonfire Burning” as a “retrospective\, looking-at-your-childhood-type song.” But even at its folkiest\, the track never feels straightforward—a killer chromatic lead guitar line adds a gently woozy atmosphere\, and then there’s the Nick Drake-styled closer “Twilight\,” which melds some Charleston imagery and touring references and Kerouac nods into a meditative life-on-the-road stunner. \n“The cone was the symbol of the last record\, how far we went\,” says Easy Honey. “We had this idea: What if we just go deeper into different genres and it’ll pull us out of ourselves more but also\, in this weird way\, cyclically make us more ourselves? That’s what Plaid is about—these songs are all very different\, but they all intersect in some way.” \nEasy Honey’s catalog is already robust: five EPs\, one live record\, and three studio albums\, including 2024’s critically acclaimed Cupidity Unlimited (check out their Garden & Gun Back Porch Session HERE)\, and as their live shows have taken off with an organic buzz (reaching another level in 2025 when they opened a run of dates for indie-pop artist Carter Vail)\, the band has stayed prolific in the studio\, refining a sound that echoes their name: sweet but thick\, sugary but substantial\, harkening back to a more carefree era of rock music. \nThe band’s Plaid Headline Tour is underway\, with new dates just announced\, and the full routing can be found below \nEASY HONEY UPCOMING SPRING/SUMMER TOUR DATES \nApril 30 – Phoenix\, AZ – Rebel Lounge \nMay 2 – Redondo Beach\, CA – Beach Life Festival \nMay 3 – San Diego\, CA – Voodoo Room @ House of Blues \nMay 5 – San Francisco\, CA – Bottom of the Hill \nMay 7 – Portland\, OR – Polaris Hill \nMay 8 – Seattle\, WA – Baby Yaga \nMay 9 – Boise\, ID – Shrine Social Club – Basement \nMay 11 – Denver\, CO – Lost Lake Lounge \nMay 14 – Houston\, TX – Bronze Peacock @ House of Blues \nMay 15 – Austin\, TX – 29th Street Ballroom \nMay 16 – Grand Prairie\, TX – The Jambox \nMay 17 – Grand Prairie\, TX – The Jambox \nMay 28 – Savannah\, GA – Hop Atomica \nJune 20 – Catonsville\, MD – Music City Summer Fest \nJuly 3 – Milwaukee\, WI – Summerfest \nJuly 25 – Macon\, GA – Bragg Jam Concert Crawl \nJuly 30-31 – Appleton\, WI – Mile of Music Festival \nAugust 2 – Chicago\, IL – Lollapalooza \nAugust 4 – Bethlehem\, PA – Musikfest \nAugust 5 – Wellfleet\, MA – Beachcomber \nAugust 7 – Hampton Beach\, NH – Wally’s \nAugust 9 – Lewes\, DE – Anna’s Coastal Kitchen \nAugust 11 – Philadelphia\, PA – Nikki Lopez \nAugust 13 – Duck\, NC – Swellsa Brewing \nAugust 14 – Wilmington\, NC – Bowstring \nAugust 15 – Charleston\, SC – The Windjammer \nAugust 27 – Miami\, FL – Zey Zey \nAugust 28 – Tampa\, FL – New World \nAugust 29 – Jacksonville\, FL – Jack Rabbits \nAugust 30 – Fernandina Beach\, FL – Tiger Island Room \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Lambchop at Crooners Supper Club (Aug 30\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Lambchop announced recently their highly-anticipated upcoming album\, Punching The Clown\, is set to be released on 21 August 2026 via City Slang. Along with the announcement they shared the lead track ‘Weakened’\, today they have followed up with a new track\, ‘Stella’. \nFollowing the divine heights of its predecessor\, Lambchop’s latest track settles into a state of lush minimalism; guitar and banjo intertwine beneath an omnipresent choir that drifts gracefully throughout the forthcoming album. \nSpeaking of the track Kurt says: “Had a long dream last night where I ended up deep in the woods playing guitar and singing. When I was done and walking back to my car there were a few people in the woods who voiced their approval. Felt pretty good. I have no idea what that was about. Some songs are like dreams\, ‘Stella’ was one of those.” \nThe new album will feature band leader Kurt Wagner alongside Andrew Broder on guitar\, Justin Vernon on banjo\, a full choir helmed by Blake Morgan; recorded and mixed by Mark Nevers and produced by Ryan Olson. \nPurchase the Limited Rough Trade Exclusive here:\nhttps://www.roughtrade.com/artist/lambchop \nUS tour dates:\n28 Jun – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n30 Aug – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n27 Sep – Minneapolis\, MN @ Crooners Supper Club\n29 Sep – Chicago\, IL @ Old Town School of Music / Maurer Hall\n01 Oct – New York City\, NY @ Public Records\n02 Oct – New York City\, NY @ Public Records \nUK + EU tour dates:\n18 Nov – Viseu\, PT @ Teatro Viriato\n19 Nov – Lisbon\, PT @ Culturgest\n21 Nov – Braga\, PT @ Theatro Circo\n22 Nov – Espinho\, PT @ Auditório de Espinho\n24 Nov – Manchester\, UK @ New Century Hall\n25 Nov – Sheffield\, UK @ Octagon\n26 Nov – Gateshead\, UK @ Sage 2\n27 Nov – London\, UK @ Union Chapel – TICKETS (featuring choir)\n28 Nov – London\, UK @ Union Chapel – TICKETS (featuring choir)\n1 Dec – Dudelange\, LU @ Opderschmelz\n2 Dec – Antwerp\, BE @ Arenberg\n3 Dec – Roeselare\, BE @ De Spil\n7 Feb – Oslo\, NO @ Konserthus\n9 Feb – Trondheim\, NO @ Byscenen\n11 Feb – Copenhagen\, DK @ DR Koncerthuset\n12 Feb – Hamburg\, DE @ Christianskirche\n13 Feb – Berlin\, DE @ Passionkirche\n14 Feb – Erlangen\, DE @ Markgrafentheater\n16 Feb – Vienna\, AT @ Theater Akzent\n17 Feb – Budapest\, HU @ House Of Music\n19 Feb – Glasgow\, UK @ St Lukes\n20 Feb – Galway\, IE @ St Nicholas’ Church\n21 Feb – Dublin\, IE @ The Helix \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Mpls: Peter Hook & The Light at First Avenue (Sep 1\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Peter Hook & The Light at First Avenue (Sep 1\, 2026)\nNorth American Tour 2026\nwith DJ Jake Rudh\nDoors Open\n7PM\nShow Starts\n8PM\nAges\n18+ \nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show. \nPeter Hook Named For Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ahead Of 2026 North American Tour \nThe Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation (rockhall.com) today announced Joy Division and New Order as one of its 2026 inductees\, spotlighting a standout group of artists whose impact has left a lasting mark on music and culture. Peter Hook was a founding member and bass player for both\, playing a critical role in what defined their respective unique sound. \nShares Peter Hook on the news\, “I am so happy about being accepted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame you would not believe it! It’s such a compliment to all the fans of Joy Division and New Order and now it’s been confirmed. My thanks to Ian Curtis\, Rob Gretton and Tony Wilson – your inspiration and hard work has meant everything to me. I will be delighted to be inducted and am looking forward to the night so much! See you there. Peter Hook” \nMeanwhile\, Peter Hook will be returning to the US this August and September with PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT for an extensive 22 date tour where they will perform the New Order album Get Ready in its entirety\, alongside a selection of the most seminal tracks from the rich and extensive back catalogues of both Joy Division and New Order. A new date has been added for Cincinnati to launch the tour on August 22. Tickets are available now at https://peterhookandthelight.live. \nThe Get Ready album was released in 2001 and reached #2 on the US Billboard Electronic album chart and #6 in the UK album chart. It featured singles “Crystal\,” “Someone Like You” and “60 Miles An Hour.” It was the seventh studio album from New Order and was dedicated by the band to Rob Gretton\, manager of both Joy Division and New Order\, who had died in 1999. \n“Get Ready was a honeymoon record. Looking back now it was very enjoyable to make\, and I think is massively underrated. It did sort the wheat from the chaff and led to a New Order mk2 which played better but had lost a naivety whilst gaining a maturity. Barney and I became a ‘power couple’ in Manchester during the making of the record but\, sadly\, the old problems recurred when we came to play live. The writing was on the wall from then on. The two of us worked very hard to make this a great record and I think we succeeded. I am looking forward to playing all the tracks\, many of which had never been played live before these Get Ready dates. The Light will shine through …” PETER HOOK \nPeter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands\, Joy Division and New Order. That dedication to his back catalogue has now seen him move through Unknown Pleasures\, Closer\, Still\, Movement\, Power Corruption & Lies\, Low Life\, Brotherhood\, Technique\, Republic and the Substance albums to arrive at Get Ready in 2025 and 2026. Having toured each album extensively\, the band have now amassed well over 800 shows. \nAmong the many highlights since Peter Hook reintroduced his early repertoire to a legion of audiences across the world\, both new and old\, have been appearances at Benicassim\, Primavera Sound\, Kendal Calling\, Bestival\, Victorious and Rebellion\, alongside extensive touring in Europe\, the UK\, China\, Japan\, North and South America\, Australia and New Zealand to great acclaim from both fans and critics alike. \nGET READY DATES // NORTH AMERICA 2026 \nAUGUST \nSat 22 CINCINNATI\, OH Bogarts\nSun 23 CLEVELAND\, OH The Agora\nThu 27 TORONTO\, ON History\nFri 28 CHICAGO\, IL Metro\nSat 29 CHICAGO\, IL Metro\nMon 31 ROYAL OAK\, MI Royal Oak Music Theatre \nSEPTEMBER \nTue 01 MINNEAPOLIS\, MN First Avenue\nFri 04 BOSTON\, MA Citizens House of Blues\nSat 05 BROOKLYN\, NY Brooklyn Paramount\nMon 07 PHILADELPHIA\, PA Union Transfer\nTue 08 WASHINGTON\, DC 9:30 Club\nThu 10 HOUSTON\, TX White Oak Music Hall\nFri 11 DALLAS\, TX House of Blues\nMon 14 DENVER\, CO Ogden Theatre\nTue 15 PHOENIX\, AZ The Van Buren\nFri 18 DEL MAR\, CA The Sound\nSat 19 LOS ANGELES\, CA Hollywood Palladium\nMon 21 SAN FRANCISCO\, CA The Warfield\nTue 22 SARATOGA\, CA The Mountain Winery\nFri 25 SEATTLE\, WA The Showbox\nSat 26 PORTLAND\, OR McMenamins Crystal Ballroom\nSun 27 VANCOUVER\, BC Commodore Ballroom \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

We wanted each traveler to represent a different version of the journey. One traveler struggled unprotected against the landscape\, the other was cautious\, outfitted in an orange hazmat – type suit. I decided to shoot 16mm and capture everything against the green landscape\, creating a vibrant contrast. That imagery helped guide the production and inform the story.” \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\nSep\n9\n2026\n7th St Entry\nSaint Harison\nNorth America Tour\nDoors Open\n6:30PM\nShow Starts\n7:30PM\nAges\nAll Ages \nThe ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show. \nSaint Harison 9/9/26 \n \nSAINT HARISON TO TOUR NORTH AMERICA THIS FALL \nNORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES\n09/09 – 7th Street Entry – Minneapolis\, MN\n09/11 – Lincoln Hall – Chicago\, IL\n09/12 – The Shelter – Detroit\, MI\n09/13 – The Great Hall – Toronto\, ON\n09/15 – Cafe 939 at Berklee – Boston\, MA\n09/16 – The Bowery Ballroom – New York\, NY\n09/18 – Songbyrd DC – Washington\, DC\n09/19 – Lounge at World Stage – Philadelphia\, PA\n09/22 – Vinyl – Atlanta\, GA\n09/24 – Bronze Peacock – Houston\, TX\n09/25 – Cambridge Room – Dallas\, TX\n09/27 – Globe Hall – Denver\, CO\n09/29 – Roxy Theatre – Los Angeles\, CA \nFollowing the release of his ghosted EP and sold-out show at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles\, rising R&B artist Saint Harison has announced his North American headline tour. \nStarting on September 9 in Minneapolis the tour will bring Saint’s acclaimed live show to audiences across North America\, with stops in Chicago\, Detroit\, Toronto\, Boston\, New York\, Washington\, D.C.\, Philadelphia\, Atlanta\, Houston\, Dallas\, and Denver and before concluding on September 29 at Los Angeles’ iconic Roxy Theatre. \nArtist presale tickets will be available beginning Tuesday\, June 10 at 10am local time\, with general on-sale beginning Friday\, June 12 at 10am local time. Fans can sign up for presale access and find additional ticket information at saintharison.com. \nThe announcement arrives as Saint continues to build momentum around ghosted\, his deeply personal and critically acclaimed new EP. This week\, one of the project’s standout singles\, “bad\,” reached No. 1 at U.S. R&B Radio\, marking the first chart-topper of Saint’s rapidly ascending career. The eight-track project expands the emotional and sonic world he has cultivated over the last several years\, blending R&B\, soul\, indie\, doo-wop\, and pop influences with the vulnerability\, restraint\, and emotional clarity that have quickly become hallmarks of his artistry. \nAcross ghosted\, Saint moves through longing\, confusion\, self-awareness\, and acceptance with striking intimacy. From the devastating piano balladry of “white to a wedding” to the sweeping\, doo-wop-inspired textures of “daffodil\,” the project showcases Saint at his most lyrically vulnerable while further cementing his reputation as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary soul and R&B. \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
