SUMMARY:Nation of Language at First Avenue
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \nSep 26\, 2025 Friday \nNation of Language\nwith Greet Death and DJ Jake Rudh\nat First Avenue\nfirst-avenue.com\n \nThe last time Nation of Language was supposed to play in Minnesota\, they had to cancel at the last minute due to falling sick and cannot sing. It’s been a while\, but now the band is back in town\, three years later!\n\nOf course\, we did see the band when they played the Turf Club in October 2021: “Nation of Language was very excited to finally play their songs. You see\, their debut album\, Introduction\, Presence\, was released in May 2020… and due to the COVID pandemic\, the band never had the chance to bring those songs to life on the stage. So instead a handful of albums made their ways to writers and radio DJs. They had no idea if anyone would listen to their music\, so imagine their surprise when they heard positive feedbacks. People were hearing their music on local radio stations\, they were hearing it through indie publications\, etc… so the band kept writing and producing new songs… which was eventually recorded as A Way Forward\, their second album. So\, with this tour\, the band played a combination of old and new (future release) songs\, as you can see from their setlist.”\n\nGreet Death to open. Their latest album Die in Love is out nnow.\n\nAlso DJ Jake Rudh to DJ between sets. \nUSA Tour Dates \n\n\n	September 18 – Warsaw Brooklyn\, New York\n	September 18 – Warsaw Brooklyn\, New York\n	September 19 – Warsaw Brooklyn\, New York\n	September 20 – Warsaw Brooklyn\, New York\n	September 21 – Royale Boston\, Massachusetts\n	September 23 – The Majestic Theatre Detroit\, Michigan\n	September 24 – Thalia Hall Chicago\, Illinois\n	September 26 – First Avenue Minneapolis\, Minnesota\n	September 27 – Turner Hall Ballroom Milwaukee\, Wisconsin\n	September 29 – Slowdown Omaha\, Nebraska\n	September 30 – The Truman Kansas City\, Missouri\n	October 2 – The Gothic Theatre Denver\, Colorado\n	October 3 – The Virginian Jackson\, Wyoming\n	October 4 – Knitting Factory Boise\, Idaho\n	October 5 – Top Hat Missoula\, Montana\n	October 8 – The Pearl Vancouver\, Canada\n	October 9 – The Showbox Seattle\, Washington\n	October 10 – The Showbox Seattle\, Washington\n	October 11 – Revolution Hall Portland\, Oregon\n	October 13 – The Fillmore San Francisco\, California\n	October 15 – The Fonda Los Angeles\, California\n	October 16 – The Fonda Los Angeles\, California\n	October 17 – Music Box San Diego\, California\n	October 19 – 191 Toole Tucson\, Arizona\n	October 21 – Mohawk Austin\, Texas\n	October 22 – The Bomb Factory Dallas\, Texas\n	October 23 – White Oak Music Hall Houston\, Texas\n	October 25 – Variety Playhouse Atlanta\, Georgia\n	October 26 – Cat’s Cradle Chapel Hill\, North Carolina\n	October 27 – The Broadberry Richmond\, Virginia\n	October 29 – Union Transfer Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania\n	October 30 – 9:30 Club Washington\, District of Columbia\n\n\n  \n\n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Deltron 3030 at Uptown Theater
DESCRIPTION:September 24\, 2025 Wednesday\nDeltron 3030\nwith Kid Koala and Lealani\nat Uptown Theater\nuptowntheatermn.com \nSupergroup Deltron 3030 is bringing rap music from the year 3030 to 2025. As you guys already know\, we’re big fans. If you didn’t know\, Deltron 3030 is Del Tha Funkee Homosapien\, Dan the Automator and Kid Koala. It’s rare to see them together\, so you need to be singing along with them at the Uptown Theater\, in Minneapolis\, on September 24\, 2025. Be there or be square! \nWe last saw Deltron 3030 in Oct 2013\, and said\, “The encore was unbelievable\, after “Do You Remember”\, the band kicked into a song that Dan said\, “you all know this one”\, as they launched into “Clint Eastwood”. That song made Gorillaz famous\, but we all knew this was made by the same people in Deltron\, but minus Damon Albarn. That’s okay\, the part of Albarn were loudly sung by the audience to a roaring\, satisfying finish.”   \nKid Koala and Lealani to open. \nYou might recall seeing Lealani and Kid Koala in July 2023: “Lealani would join Koala on stage\, for the song finale. They thanked us for coming out and wished Chase Bliss a happy birthday (Chase Bliss sponsored all three Kid Koala’s Minneapolis / St Paul events as part of their celebration). Being here for three days\, I asked them if they visited The Mall of America\, in which they had no idea what that is. I guess they didn’t do the tourist thing. With fans lining up for autographs and conversations\, they were more than gracious to sign everything presented to them. They were in no hurry to leave\, even though it will be a very\, very long drive back to Hamilton\, Ontario for their final show in this 2023 tour.” \nTour dates: \n\n\nSep. 24\, 2025 – Minneapolis\, MN – Uptown Theater\nSep. 25\, 2025 – Chicago\, IL – House of Blues\nSep. 27\, 2025 – Detroit\, MI – Majestic Theatre\nSep. 28\, 2025 – Toronto\, ON – The Concert Hall\nSep. 29\, 2025 – Montreal\, QC – Théâtre Beanfield\nOct. 2\, 2025 – Boston\, MA – Big Night Live\nOct. 3\, 2025 – Philadelphia\, PA – Union Transfer\nOct. 4\, 2025 – Washington\, DC – 9:30 Club\nOct. 6\, 2025 – New York\, NY – Webster Hall\n\n\n\n \n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:Nourished By Time at 7th St Entry
DESCRIPTION:September 23\, 2025 Tuesday\nNourished By Time\nat 7th St Entry\nfirst-avenue.com \nBaltimore singer-songwriter and producer Nourished By Time is touring in support of The Passionate Ones (available August 22nd via XL). The tour will stop by the 7th Street Entry\, in Minneapolis\, on September 23\, 2025. \nNote: There is a strict 4 ticket limit. Any attempt to exceed the ticket limit of 4 per customer or household\, or to game the system in any way\, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets up to 72 HOURS prior to the show. \nWe saw Nourished by Time in Feb 2025\, and said\, “The opener was Nourished by Time (Marcus Brown). The Baltimore-based artist was leading a trio\, with guitar and keyboards backing him. The vocal style is a rich baritone with a good underlying beat. Those dual keys and well programmed backing music make a deep background that Brown’s vocals\, switching between singing and rap\, make a great contrast. This is a major step forward from his performance opening for Dry Cleaning just two years ago (which itself was quite enjoyable!). Dancing across the stage throughout\, this was lively and set the table for the acts to follow. This R&B infused set was a perfect appetizer to the next artists.” \n\n\nTour dates: \n\n\nSeptember 11 – Baltimore\, MD – Ottobar *\nSeptember 12 – Philadelphia\, PA – Foundry at The Fillmore *\nSeptember 13 – New York\, NY – Irving Plaza *\nSeptember 15 – Boston\, MA – The Sinclair *\nSeptember 17 – Montreal\, QC – Le Studio TD *\nSeptember 18 – Toronto\, ON – Velvet Underground *\nSeptember 20 – Detroit\, MI – El Club *\nSeptember 22 – Chicago\, IL – Lincoln Hall *\nSeptember 23 – Minneapolis\, MN – 7th Street Entry #\nSeptember 25 – Milwaukee\, WI – Vivarium #\nSeptember 28 – Denver\, CO – Larimer Lounge #\nSeptember 30 – Salt Lake City\, UT – Kilby Court #\nOctober 2 – San Francisco\, CA – The Independent *\nOctober 4 – Seattle\, WA – Barboza *\nOctober 6 – Vancouver\, BC – Hollywood Theatre *\nOctober 7 – Portland\, OR – Mississippi Studios *\nOctober 9 – Los Angeles\, CA – El Rey Theatre *\nOctober 10 – San Diego\, CA – The Casbah *\nOctober 13 – Austin\, TX – 3TEN ACL Live *\nOctober 14 – Houston\, TX –The Bronze Peacock at House of Blues Houston *\nOctober 15 – Dallas\, TX – Club Dada *\nOctober 17 – Atlanta\, GA – The Masquerade – Altar *\nOctober 18 – Nashville\, TN – Blue Room *\nOctober 20 – Charlotte\, NC – Neighborhood Theatre *\nOctober 21 – Washington\, DC – The Atlantis *\n* Zsela opening | # witS & Smitty | ^ Tony Bontana opening | + Laura Groves opening | ~ Joviale opening \n\n\n\n\n \nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

DESCRIPTION:Evanescence at Xcel Energy Center (Sep 19\, 2025)\n\n\nSeptember 19\, 2025 Friday \nEvanescence \nwith Poppy\, Dorothy\, Black Map\nat Xcel Energy Center\nxcelenergycenter.com \n\n\nIt’s an all-star 93x’s “Family Reunion” show at Xcel Energy Center\, in St Paul\, on Friday\, September 19\, 2025. \n  \nTwo-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Evanescence is headlining the show. The band broke through the mainstream in 2003 with their debut album Fallen (selling over 17 million copies worldwide)\, and recently the band’s single\, “Afterlife” from the Netflix series\, Devil May Cry\, got over 20 million streams and over 10 million views on YouTube in just the first few weeks. “Afterlife” is the fastest-moving single of the band’s career. \n  \nNext is Poppy the strange pop/metal\, weird singer. \n  \n\n \nPoppy at First Avenue (Sep 07\, 2023)\n\n\nWe saw her in Sep 2023 and said\, “What is there to say about Poppy? Well\, she is no shrinking violet. In the “BLOODMONEY” video she slams and throws quite a few extras/dancers with a series of dance/martial art moves. She is also an evolving performance act born out of the fertile mind of Moriah Rose Pereia who first made a name for herself by creating a popular YouTube channel that PoppyTV\, which the producer\, Corey Michael Mixter\, aka Titanic Sinclar\, described as “… a combination of Andy Warhol’s pop accessibility\, David Lynch’s creepiness and Tim Burton’s zany comedic tone.”” \n  \n\n \nDorothy at Varsity Theater (May 2\, 2022)\n\n\nDorothy Martin\, aka Dorothy\, is on the bill. We saw her in May 2022 and said\, “American rock band Dorothy closed out the show. The band features vocalist Dorothy Martin\, drummer Jason Ganberg\, guitarists Devon Pangle and Eli Wulfmeier\, and bassist Eliot Lorango. They became famous when Rolling Stone said this is a band “you need to know”\, ranking them #14 on their 50 Best New Artists of 2014.” \n  \nFinally we have Black Map\, featuring Ben Flanagan\, Mark Engles\, and Chris Robyn. The trio fuses post-hardcore\, alt-rock\, and hard rock … which is the perfect sound for this 93x show. \n  \n\nPOPPY Tour Dates: \n\n  \n\n\nSEP 14 — Grand Rapids\, MI @ GLC Live at 20 Monroe\nSEP 15 — Indianapolis\, IN @ Egyptian Room at Old National Centre\nSEP 18 — Milwaukee\, WI @ Fiserv Forum | 102.9 Hog Havoc\nSEP 19 — St. Paul\, MN @ Xcel Energy Center | 93X Family Reunion\nSEP 21 — West Des Moines @ Val Air Ballroom\nSEP 22 — Tulsa\, OK @ Cains Ballroom\nSEP 23 — Kansas City\, MO @ Uptown Theater\nSEP 25 — Albuquerque\, MN @ Revel\nSEP 27 — Anaheim\, CA @ House of Blues Anaheim\nSEP 28 — Ventura\, CA @ Majestic Ventura Theatre\nSEP 30 — San Diego\, CA @ The Observatory North Park\nOCT 2 — Las Vegas\, NV @ House of Blues Las Vegas\nOCT 4 — El Paso\, TX @ Southwest University Park | KLAQ Rocks The Park\nOCT 6 — Dallas\, TX @ House of Blues – Dallas\nOCT 11 — Mexico City @ Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú^\nOCT 12 — Mexico City @ Auditorio Blackberry\n*Supporting Evanescence\n^Supporting Avenged Sevenfold\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…

SUMMARY:The Darkness at Varsity Theater
DESCRIPTION:September 19\, 2025 Friday\nThe Darkness\nwith Mark Daly\nat Varsity Theater\nlivenation.com\n \nBombastic British hard rock band The Darkness is touring in support of their new album Dreams On Toast (Cooking Vinyl). The tour will stop by the Varsity Theater\, in Minneapolis\, on September 19\, 2025.\n \nWe saw the Darkness in October 2023 and wrote\, “The Darkness\, the bombastic\, longtime East Suffolk\, UK band had returned to downtown Kansas City at The Truman to help commemorate the 20th Anniversary of their globally successful debut album\, Permission to Land\, and had as usual\, amazed the crowd with a solid set and were about to play their biggest hit\, “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” as a high point\, when singer Justin Hawkins made the plea. He urged fans to live and experience the moment through their own eyes\, not through a tiny cell phone screen\, and unite to have one last song’s length collective party\, before the band would say ‘good night’ and most did oblige- pogo-ing in place\, hands in the air\, and singing along.” \nMark Daly to open. \nDREAMS ON TOAST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES: \n\n\n8/29 Pryor\, OK Rocklahoma*\n8/30 Saint Louis\, MO The Pageant\n8/31 Nashville\, TN Brooklyn Bowl\n9/2 Atlanta\, GA Masquerade – Heaven Stage\n9/3 Huntsville\, AL Von Braun Center – Mars Music Hall\n9/5 Norfolk\, VA The NorVa\n9/6 Richmond\, VA The National\n9/7 Washington\, DC Lincoln Theatre\n9/9 Allentown\, PA Archer Music Hall\n9/10 New York\, NY Irving Plaza\n9/12 Toronto\, ON Phoenix Concert Theatre\n9/13 Kitchener\, ON Elements\n9/14 Montréal\, QC Club Soda\n9/16 Indianapolis\, IN Egyptian Room at Old National Centre\n9/17 Detroit\, MI Saint Andrew’s Hall\n9/19 Minneapolis\, MN Varsity Theater\n9/20 Milwaukee\, WI The Rave/Eagles Club – The Rave Hall\n9/21 Cleveland\, OH Agora Theatre and Ballroom\n11/7 Houston\, TX Warehouse Live Midtown\n11/8 Austin\, TX Emo’s\n11/9 Dallas\, TX The Echo Lounge & Music Hall\n11/12 Los Angeles\, CA The Wiltern\n11/13 San Francisco\, CA The Fillmore\n11/15 Boise\, ID Knitting Factory Concert House\n11/17 Portland\, OR Revolution Hall\n11/18 Vancouver\, BC Commodore Ballroom\n11/19 Seattle\, WA The Showbox\n11/21 Salt Lake City\, UT The Depot\n11/22 Denver\, CO Summit Music Hall\n*festival show\n\n\n  \n\nSocial Share\n Share on Add Us (Opens in new window)\n Add Us\n \n Share on Instagram (Opens in new window)\n Instagram\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n More\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n Threads\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window)\n Mastodon\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window)\n Nextdoor\n Like this:Like Loading…
