SoCal’s emerging indie rock trio Sun Room will be headlining Jack Rabbits, in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 1st, in support of their EP Ritual of Chaos.
Sun Room at First Avenue (Mar 25, 2023)
We saw the band in Mar 2023 and wrote, “Opening the show was California’s Sun Room. The four-piece features Luke Asgian (lead vocals & guitar), Ashton Minnich (guitar), Max Pinamonti (bass), and Gibby Anderson (drums). From what we’ve heard, it’s no-nonsense rock ‘n roll. They seemed influenced by Oasis and The Rolling Stones, based on their cover of “Get Off Of My Cloud”. According to their biography, when they started as a band, they played local house shows in the surf community in Southern California. Two of their songs (“Crashed My Bike” and “Something That You’re Missing”) were included on Netflix’s Outer Banks. Soon enough, the band found themselves headlining sold out shows.”
