As you know, I’m a very big fan of these DC Finest books. I am planning on collecting all the titles (right now there are about 50 books announced). This checklist that I’m putting together is really just for me to figure out what books are coming out and to prioritize my collection.
Looking at DC Finest schedule, it looks like they are releasing a new book every week or two! It is very aggressive.
As of this writing, DC Finest retails for $39.99, but the rumor is that DC Finest will be raising its price to match Marvel Epic Collection ($54.99). I will believe it when I see it, I feel anything higher than $40 is a turn-off for me… especially because I usually will buy them if the price falls below $25. I won’t pay $40 (again, but with some exceptions).
The priority titles for me are any George Perez books, Events books, Batman, Neal Adams, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Horror, Westerns, and 70s-90s.
