Geordie Greep, the former Black Midi singer/songwriter, will stop by the Albatross (formerly Underbelly), in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 15, 2026.
Black Midi
We saw Black Midi in October 2021 and said, “Possibly the best entrance introduction I’ve heard in a long time, black midi (singer/guitarist Geordie Greep, singer/guitarist Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin, bassist Cameron Picton, drummer Morgan Simpson, keyboards Seth Evans, and saxaphonist Kaidi Akinnibi) came on stage to a boxing-style announcer. The undefeated champion of the world! Although the band is named after the Japanese music genre black MIDI, the band sounds nothing like it. They’re more art-rock/experimental rock. The sound reminds me a little bit of Clinic.”
