Of Monsters And Men at The Amp (Sep 29, 2026)
Iceland’s biggest band, Of Monsters And Men, will be headlining the St Augustine Amphitheatre, on September 29, 2026.
I’ll never forget the first time we saw Of Monsters and Men, in March 2012: “ Of Monsters and Men sounded so happy to be here in America. They mentioned how they did the tourist-thing, seeing the Mall of America. There are also a lot of them on stage; I think I counted seven of them. Many of their songs contain “hey! hey!” and yes, it’s catchy. Since the band only has one album, My Head Is an Animal, most of the songs on the setlist were from that album. They did throw in The Cure’s “Close to Me” cover, which in typical Of Monsters and Men had a massive build up at the end. Not on the setlist is “Sloom”, which was an encore song squeezed in between “Your Bones” and “Lakehouse”.”
