Multi-Platinum band The Fray announced the Summer of Light Tour, featuring special guests Dashboard Confessional, Colony House, The Strumbellas and Brother Elsey on select dates. The tour will stop in at the St Augustine Amphitheatre, in St Augustine, on August 8, 2026.
The Fray
We saw The Fray in Aug 2025 and said, “The Fray had a seamless entrance, as they stepped onto the stage with The Beatles “Here Comes the Sun” reverberating into their first song “She Is.” Then something funny happened when lead singer, Joe King, tried to introduce the background of “Look After You”, but was instead overtaken by the crowd who proceeded to sing the first verse. And that set the tenor of the evening as fans came to sing to The Fray’s debut album, How To Save A Life, as if it was the soundtrack to their lives some twenty years before. But there must be some carryover into the decades for a lot of the fans were far too young to be singing along in 2005. In fact, the song “How To Save a Life” recently reached rarefied air by claiming Diamond status. ”
