The (What If God Was) “One of Us” singer Joan Osborne is doing four shows over two nights on October 3 and 4, at the Dakota Jazz Club, in Minneapolis. According to the billing, it looks like Osborne will be covering Bob Dylan songs.

We saw Osborne in Sept 2023 and said, “American singer/songwriter Joan Osborne shot into fame with her recorded song “One Of Us” (written by Eric Bazilian), from her debut album Relish, in 1995. The song poses the question, what if God was one of us, just trying to find his way home. The single was certified Gold and earning three Grammy nominations. The song was so popular, even Prince covered the song on his album Emancipation in 1996.”
