Kalporz Night 25 at Diagonal, Forlì, Italy (March 21, 2026)
A quarter century of music, passions, and shared stories. On Saturday, March 21st, Kalporz celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special evening at the Diagonal in Forlì: #KalporzNight25 , a party designed to bring together readers, collaborators, and friends who have animated the site’s community over the years.
It will be an opportunity to meet in person, toast together, and share the musical curiosity that has always inspired the “Kalporzian philosophy.” An informal evening open to all, dedicated to discovery, memory, and, of course, music.
The party will begin at 7:30 pm with RadioKalporz , a sort of live radio: the site’s writers will take turns selecting music, explaining the reasons behind the chosen songs, songs that in different ways have marked Kalporz’s history and its path.
From 9:00 PM onwards, DJ sets by the editors and other guests will take over the decks, continuing the evening with music, meetings and fun.
The event will also feature a stand with Kalporz merch and some surprises to celebrate this important milestone.
Kalporz has been writing about music with its own vision since 2000 , born from an idea by Luca Vecchi and continued over the years by Paolo Bardelli, Piero Merola, and Enrico Stradi . Always attentive to new developments, trends, and emerging scenes, the magazine covers music in an original way, without filters and with great editorial care. Its musical curiosity, beyond genre, has always been oriented towards the search for “beautiful things.”
Today Kalporz is made up of around thirty collaborators , including scribblers and photographers, from all over Italy but with their hearts in Emilia-Romagna . Over the years it has developed various initiatives and collaborations: from 2003 to 2013 it curated the “Live in Kalporz” program at the Calamita in Cavriago (RE), hosting artists such as Piano Magic, Steve Wynn, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Baustelle, Offlaga Disco Pax and Erlend Øye , among others.
In 2018, Kalporz won the MEI Musicletter award , a national prize for music journalism, for “best website.” Today, he maintains active international collaborations with webzines such as Scream & Yell (Brazil), AOW (France), We Heart Music (USA), and Monolith Cocktail (Scotland), as well as engaging with Italian art and comics outlets such as Art a Part of Culture and Lo Spazio Bianco .
#KalporzNight25 will therefore be not only a celebration, but also an opportunity to celebrate a twenty-five-year history of listening, stories, meetings, and discoveries.
