Canada’s Austra is returning to Minneapolis, playing the 7th Street Entry, on January 17, 2026. This is the first proper tour in eight years.
Austra at Triple Rock Social Club (Sep 1, 2013)
We saw Austra in Sept 2013 and wrote, “The band is currently on tour with Austra in support of their debut album Perpetual Surrender, which came out August 20th on Jagjaguwar. As expected, Austra played songs like “What We Done?” and “Forgive Me”, from their latest Domino/Paper Bag album Olympia which came out earlier this Summer. To best sum up their sound, Brody from W♥M writes, “Fans of Florence + the Machine and Grimes will love a performance from this rising star. I caught her at Fun Fun Fun Fest a few years ago in Austin, Texas, and she’s got the wardrobe, face paint, dancers!””
