East Tennessee-native Josiah and the Bonnevilles is headlining First Avenue, on June 10, in support of As Is (Rounder Records).
The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household, or to game the system in any way, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.
We saw Josiah in Sept 2023 and said, “The self-described, “red neck”, talked about how he grew up in a small town Morristown, Tennesse (near Nashville), and never thought one day that he would be standing in front of a very large crowd people, singing songs about his life. The audience was encouraging Josiah on and he seemed to really love being on stage. However, he confessed that he gets all nervous and so the sound guy someone would turn on the lights on the audience, so he could focus. Josiah said that he first came to fame when he started covering mainstream popular songs, in his “redneck country style”. Hence, midway in his set, he covered Taylor Swift (“Anti‐Hero”), Tyler Childers (“Jersey Giant”), and Justin Bieber (“Ghost”).”
Max Alan and Brenna MacMilllan to open.
