King Pari at Turf Club (Mar 20, 2026)
Minneapolis/Los Angeles band King Pari will be headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, for their Candy Eyes EP release show.
If you were wondering about the LA/Mpls thing, I think one of them was living in Los Angeles … currently the band is Joe Paris Christensen and Cameron Kinghorn, and I believe they are based in Minneapolis. Both played alongside some of Prince’s closest associates, and Joe’s previous band was among the last that Prince personally invited to play at Paisley Park. Their first gig as King Pari was support for Kamasi Washington in 2019. We mentioned that show in Aug 2019, but at the time of writing, we were not told who was opening the show.
Zak Khan and Fairooz Nazifa to open.
