On May 10, the Making Music series is back!

Multidisciplinary artist JG Everest hosted and curated Making Music, a conversation series at the Whole Music Club (University of Minnesota) and the Walker Art Center, from 2005 to 2013. Everest interviewed dozens of local and national musicians for the series, including Alan Sparhawk, Jason Moran, Dessa, Christy Costello, Jeremy Messersmith, Mankwe Ndosi, Dan Wilson, Slug, Lazerbeak, P.O.S, Lori Barbero (Babes In Toyland), and more.

On May 10, Mark Wheat will take over as host of Making Music, marking his return to the Minnesota music scene, with special guest Channy Leaneagh of POLICA. Join us at The Southern Theater for the first live taping of the Making Music reboot, 13 years after the original series. Doors open at 3 p.m. and the show starts at 4.
