Mpls: Tommy Stinson at Turf Club (Jun 10, 2026)
June 10

Former Replacements’ bassist Tommy Stinson is returning to the Turf Club, on June 10, 2026, in St Paul. You never really know what to expect of Stinson… but whatever he has in mind, it’s always fun.
We saw Stinson in Sep 2015 and wrote, “As for Tommy Stinson, he was having the time of his life. According to Stinson, he just grabbed a few of his buddies and they’re out on tour and writing and recording new music (including his new 7″ for “Breathing Room”, which they played mid-set). While some fans were expecting Stinson to play some Replacements’ classics, Stinson avoided playing any of those songs. That’s fine, I don’t think fans expected it as much. Highlight of their set was for the encore, when the band came back in matching pepperoni outfits to playing out to a couple of Bash & Pop (the band that Stinson formed right after The Replacements broke up), including “Never Aim To Please” and finale “Friday Night (Is Killing Me)”.”
If your band is coming to the Minneapolis/St Paul area, please email details to vu@weheartmusic.com with a good lead time. Thank you.
