Who Dat! Whoooooo Wants More Cowbelll!!!!!! Freeeeeee Energy got a standing "o" and plenty of crowd reactions just like a 1970 and 80's Tom Petty kick-ass, fun band. The Red Wing, Minnesota natives put on another rockadelic performance. It was a tiny crowd at the Circle Bar, off St Charles just outside downtown New Orleans. Maybe 30 people. Shocking, I know. These cats deserve better, and gave the small mosh of crazy NOLA hoodrats plenty to dance too.

They played all the hits from Stuck On Nothing and had the crowd grooving and moving to "Bang Pop", Self-Titled, "Dream City". I was hoping for "Young Hearts" and "Dark Trance". but believe me they made up for it with all the great material from the new release.

Oh right. Free Energy has a new album release Love Sign my two new favorites are "Electric Fever" and "Time Rolls On".

Bonus : Solid band shirts and they brought back the tape cassettes! These guys are truly old school!
