AMANDA PALMER

I’ve said this before, but Amanda Palmer is very entertaining. Every time I see one of her show, it’s different and incredibly fun.
With this upcoming sold out show at the Cedar Cultural Center on Sunday, November 16th, I see that it is essentially a book signing tour for her new book The Art of Asking…. however, knowing Palmer, I am pretty there will be some singing/dancing involved, as well as an appearance from Neil Gaiman and other special guests. We’ll likely hear her read excerpts from the book, and there will be a long line to get autographs.
I believe the last time I saw Palmer and Gaiman together signing, the story I’m told was that it took three hours to sign/chat with all their fans.
Look, however long it takes to meet your favorite musician/artist/writers, it is worth it.

Don’t forget to watch Bleachers (aka Jack Antonoff) on Conan O’Brien this November 5th, for his new single “Rollercoaster”. His debut single “I Wanna Get Better” was already #1 at Alt radio after 20 weeks on the chart.
Bleachers are currently on tour in support of his debut album Strange Desire (RCA Records), which came on the Billboard Alternative album chart at #2 (#11 on the Top 200).
