Nashville pop savant Tristen is returning to the 7th Street Entry this Sunday, May 5th, in support of her latest 7” called Dream Within a Dream – available May 10 via Louisville’s This Man Records.
We last saw her open for Robyn Hitchcock and wrote, “Hitchcock reached back several times to older Soft Boys songs as well as those done with The Venus 3, even working in a David Bowie-penned Mott the Hoople cover with opener, Tristen, as part of the three-song encore.”
Opening up the show will be Kenny G superfan Meg Kirsch.

Danish punk rock band Iceage will be playing the Turf Club this May 6th. We caught the band in April 2013 and said, “Singer Elias Bender Rønnenfelt looked very emotional – yet with a blank uncaring stare that reminded me of Ian Curtis. Their music wouldn’t really fit neatly in a punk genre; they seem to have a little self-loathing to their lyrics and sound.”
