Los Angeles shoegaze band Liily (Dylan Nash, Sam De La Torre, Charlie Anastasis & Maxx Morando) will be touring in support of their debut record TV or Not TV. After being added to popular Spotify playlist, the band found themselves on Amazon Music, Apple Music, and their songs featured on BBC Radio 1’s Indie Show With Jack Saunders.

We were supposed to have seen Nashville indie rockers Colony House in March 2020, but due to the pandemic, we never got around to seeing them. The band is returning to the Fine Line this October 25, 2021, to make up for 2020.
Their new album, Leave What’s Lost Behind, reached #3 on the Apple iTunes Alt Charts and #14 on the overall Apple iTunes Charts.

Canadian quartet
Tokyo Police Club is celebrating their “10th Anniversary of CHAMP” tour… and will be stopping by the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis on October 27. Funny enough, this is the third time the band have tried for this tour, having twice having to delay their Champ 10 tour, due to the pandemic.
For the first time, you can get their album Champ on vinyl, along with an expanded digital version, via Mom + Pop (U.S./Mex./Aus.), Dine Alone (Can.) and Memphis Industries (UK/EU).

Originally booked at the 7th Street Entry, this Kidd G show was upgraded to the larger capacity Fine Line Music Café down the street. The musician is touring in support of his debut album Down Home Boy.
Explaining the album name, Kidd G said, “I’m still the same down-home guy who’s all about family, friends, my hometown and making music and I think that comes across in my music.”

Singer/songwriter Dar Williams will be headlining the Cedar Cultural Center this October 28th. Her latest album I’ll Meet You Here will be out October 1st, on BMG’s recently launched Renew label.
We like Williams and have seen her a few times, noting that “she had stories about all of her songs. These songs were all true stories… and, of course, very few of them are about love – which Dar admitted confessed that she is not a fan of love songs…”
