Writer, musician, and podcaster (co-host of Binchtopia), Eliza McLamb is on tour in support of the debut album Going Through It (Royal Mountain Records).

Eliza McLamb (06 Oct 2023)

We saw McLamb on her first tour in Oct 2023, and wrote, “It sounded like this was McLamb’s first tour, stating that she’s never been to Minneapolis before on stage. She noted how cold it was here (even though the locals here calls it T-Shirt weather), and that she’s experience anything like this before, because she’s “from Los Angeles.” They spent the day wandering around Minneapolis and went to Dogwood Coffee and said that they let her smell the sweet latte.”

Mini Trees (22 April 2022)

Mini Trees to open.

Of course, we also saw Mini Trees on their first appearance in St Paul, on April 2022: “On their first appearance in the area, Los Angeles based Mini Trees thanked the audience for showing up early to hear them play…. Many of Lexi’s songs are reflection of being a mix race of Cuban-born father and Japanese-American mother, and her perspective through her identity… never quite fitting in, growing up in suburban southern California. The group ended their set with their first single, “Spring”, which they jokingly hoped that Minnesota could one day enjoy (it’s been an absolutely miserably cold spring).”

Australia’s 2x ARIA Award-winning Lime Cordiale will be back in St Paul, this time playing the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, on April 6, 2024.

    Lime Cordiale (19 July 2023)

We saw Lime Cordiale in July 2023 and wrote, “Australian pop rock group Lime Cordiale is a duo, consisting of brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach, but when they play live, they have additional members James Jennings (drums), Felix Bornholt (keys) and Nicholas Polovineo (guitars/trombone). Their debut album Permanent Vacation came out in 2017, but it wasn’t until their collaboration with English actor-musician Idris Elba in 2022 for Cordi Elba, that really put the band on the map on the international stage.”
