Australia’s Amyl and The Sniffers is returning to Minneapolis/St Paul, playing the Palace Theatre on May 7, 2025.

We saw Amyl and the Sniffers in May 2022 and said, “What can I say about Melbourne’s Amyl & the Sniffers? After making their US television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers in mid-April, it seems like the world’s finally catching on to this ARIA award winner. The truth is, all their US tour dates had already sold out before their Late Night appearance, so rock/punk fans were already in the know. The Australian pub punk band fun to watch, as vocalist Amy Taylor ran and bounced across the stage, never stopping or slowing down. Rounding out the rest of the band are the always shirtless drummer Bryce Wilson, guitarist Dec Martens, and bassist Fergus Romer.”

Sheer Mag to open. We previously saw the band in Aug 2024 and noted, “Philadelphia’s Sheer Mag is touring in support of Playing Favorites (Third Man Records). Thanks to the band’s dedicated fanbase, they sold out the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on April 25, 2024. By the time the group took the stage, the dancefloor at the 7th Street Entry was completely packed. It was hot and sweaty, and singer Tina Halladay already had a stage fan blowing on her the whole time. The band has a 70s rock and punk sound, releasing 7-inch EPs in 2014, and then the group exploded when they were included in Rolling Stone’s “10 New Artists You Need To Know.””

Washington DC-by-way-of-the-U.K. punk duo Teen Mortgage is on tour in support of their debut album Devil Ultrasonic Dream. The tour will stop in at the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on May 7, 2025.

UPCHUCK to open. We saw the band in May 2022 and noted, “Next up was Atlanta’s Upchuck (singer KT, guitarist Mikey, guitarist Hoff, bassist Armando, and drummer Chris), who was joining the tour on their first night. The band sounded very angry, playing tracks from their debut EP, as well as new songs, such as “Night Calls”.”
