Grandaddy at First Avenue

You guys already know what a big fan I am of Grandaddy, and they’re on their 25th Anniversary of ‘Sophtware Slump’ tour… stopping by First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on October 8, 2025.
I saw the group on the original Sophtware Slump tour (as well as ealier) in May 2001 and noted, “A year later, as you can see from my ticketstub for their headlining First Avenue show on May 9, 2001, the band had sold out the 1,500-capacity venue. Virgil Shaw opened the show. I wish, back then, I would’ve paid more attention to taking notes or other mementos to help remember the shows.”
