For those who aren’t brushed up on their dance music, Dannii Minogue is the sister of Kylie Minogue. I am assuming Dannii followed in her sister’s footsteps by appearing on Australian television, before taking the plunge of being a pop singer in the early 1990s.

Well her last studio album was in 2003’s Neon Nights, but that hasn’t stop her record label from releasing the very breast and greatest tits collection: The Hits & Beyond (2006), Club Disco (2007), and her latest Unleashed (2007).

Unleashed was, er, unleashed last November 5th in the UK… I don’t think any of her albums actually sold in the US, except Warner Brothers International is going to make this available to the domestic market on January 15, 2008 (this information is according to amazon.com).

There was a little controversy with the album artwork for this release. Apparently someone at the Warner thought it was too risqué and released the album censored. Even the back of the CD is covered up, check out the evidence, or lack thereof.

Anyway, according to Amazon’s Top 1000 Reviewer Amanda Swales (United Kingdom), she apparently really highly recommended “It Won’t Work Out”:

OMG!! This mix is simply stunning; Dannii recorded the vocals for a possible single release. The single didn’t happen, which is a shame. D’s vocals are amazing.

“It Won’t Work Out” didn’t seem to work out for me, it just seems like a Madonna song. I thought “All I Wanna Do” was pretty good, so that’s what I’m going to use.
