Starting on Thursday is Lucius at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis. TIME dubbed them as “band to watch”, and it’s easy to see once you got a taste of their debut album Wildewoman on Mom+Pop Music… which sounds a bit like go-go girl groups from the 60s (thanks to the two women singers, Jess & Holly).
Anyway, the New York band just finished up their CMJ Showcases, and is heading out on tour in support of their debut:

Saturday we have The Head And The Heart at First Avenue in Minneapolis. They are so popular that they have been selling out all their shows across the country. In fact, they’ve even booked both Saturday and Sunday, and they sold out both dates! Who knew they were so huge? The band will be playing songs from their recently released album Let’s Be Still (October 15, 2013 on Sub Pop Records).
Opening up is Thao & The Get Down Stay Down and Quiet Life. The latter is a Portland indie/Americana band, on tour in support of their sophomore LP, Wild Pack.
