Here is a guide of some Minneapolis (and St Paul) shows next week: March 23-March 29.
Post-SXSW, we find bands touring around the country, and many of them will end up at Coachella. Never been a better time to see live music with the coming Spring.

Rick Springfield

Speaking of ‘spring’, if you grew up in the 80s, like I did, you’d remember that massive hit song “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick Springfield, which he won a Grammy for Best Mal Rock Vocal Performance.

The Australian guitarist is currently on a ‘Stripped Down’ solo performance tour. The a-typical tour will include feedback from his fans with an interactive Q&A Session. Also, starting in late June, he’ll be playing alongside his friends and fellow musicians, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. That tour will mark the first time that Rick will tour with Pat and Neil.

Yellow Ostrich w/ Pattern Is Movement

Yellow Ostrich already blew away Justina when she covered them a few months ago in New York.

Justina described the band’s music and why she jumped at the chance to see them:

“I listened to Yellow Ostrich’s music the day before the show and knew immediately that I wanted to see them live. They have a lo-fi indie rock sound with vocals from Alex Schaaf (also member of The Chairs) whose voice is a mixture of fun.’s Nate Ruess and Ben Folds.”

Well the all-girl band is back with a new self-titled album, released January 21, 2014, on Rough Trade US.

Opening up the show is our favorite Scottish-turned-Los Angeles girl Cate Le Bon.
