The Guardian and the Royal Court theatre have put together something called Off the Page, which is a collection of six filmed “microplays”. The project brings together journalists, playwrights and directors to create responses to issues in six key areas of their coverage: food, music, fashion, sport, education and politics. The next microplay, on the subject of sport, will be online on 24 November.
In Off The Page #2, entitled “Groove Is in the Heart”, a film set in 1993 and 2014, you can clearly see The Smiths’ Salford Lads’ Club photo (from The Queen is Dead) … and if you look really hard, you can also see “How Soon is Now?” and “What Difference Does It Make?” single artwork in the background.

“Oh here is your audience now, and they’re screaming: get off the stage…” – Morrissey.
I wasn’t there, but apparently a lot of disappointed fans at the Morrissey at Club Stodola in Warsaw, Poland, on November 19th. Morrissey walked off stage after only 25 minutes. The official Live Nation statement reads “one of the spectators standing close to the scene said extremely offensive and chauvinistic words at the artist. The situation had forced the artist to leave the scene.”
From what I’ve read online, they were insults from a fan in the audience, regarding cancer(?)

Morrissey left the stage in a huff and his band tried ferreting out the heckler but couldn’t find him … so the venue announced the singer would not be coming back because he didn’t feel safe.
