Wham! Glam! Thank You, Ma’am!
British glam rockers The Darkness is back! The band formed in 2000 and by 2006 had called it quit. Of course, they couldn't stay away - by 2012, they had reformed (which we mentioned the reunion tour). Britain's rising new glam/rock band The Struts are taking on the US with their current tour promoting their album Everybody Wants. Their hit single "Could Have Been Me" is currently on the top 5 of Billboard's Alternative charts, and the self-proclaimed "glamorous indie" band has been racking up Best New Artists awards consistently for the past year. Lead singer Luke Spiller is a sight to behold, strutting around onstage like he was born to be there (hence where their manager thought of their band name). They do a killer cover of Lorde's Royals, which we hope to hear when we cover their show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles this Wednesday, October 14th.
