The last time we caught Wolfmother, it was at the Riviera Theatre, Chicago on 25 Nov 2006, at the height of their international stardom… We didn’t have tickets, but found scalpers who were selling tickets at a discount because the show was already starting. We got in, but on retrospect, it’s probably not a good idea to blindly buy these “tickets”, because they could be fakes.

The Australian hard rockers are back in the USA, touring in support of their latest Victorious, available now via UMe.

Opening up the show will be our favorite ladies of rock, Deap Vally. The last time we saw the duo, they had a new drummer called Liv Marsico, because the regular drummer Julie Edwards was on maternity leave. I am assuming Edwards is back by this time?

New York’s St Lucia is back in town next week. You may recall that the first time they came to Minneapolis, they had to get a venue upgrade due to overwhelming interests.
This time, the band is out promoting Matter, which recently came out on Columbia Records.

Unfortunately, Australia’s Tigertown (who is currently touring with St. Lucia) will not be at the Minneapolis show… however Grace Mitchell will replace them. The Portland-raised Mitchell recently released Raceday EP (Republic Records), featuring “NoLo”.
