OH WONDER

at First Avenue

Friday, 06/03/16, 8pm ($20)

first-avenue.com

London-based alt-pop Oh Wonder is headlining First Avenue’s mainroom next Friday, June 3rd. The duo (Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West) has already sold out major cities, such as London, Paris, and Los Angeles… so check them out now before they get much bigger.

Oh Wonder’s self-titled debut album is out now via Island, Republic, and Caroline International.

Opening will be Los Angeles’ Lany (stylized as LANY, pronounced ‘lay-nee’). We previously caught the trio (Paul Klein, Les Priest and Jake Goss) in July 2015 and wrote, “I was surprised by the amount of people that knew who these guys were. People were singing along to every word and swaying back and forth to every note. The girls in the crowd were swooning over the singer, who may as well have been a model.”

Expect some of those sing-along fans to be at this Friday’s show.
