Minneapolis: June 22 to June 23, 2016
Here are some shows taking place in the Minneapolis/St Paul area from June 22 to June 23, 2016. April 8th saw the release of Fever Dream, a new solo album from songwriter/producer/DJ Ben Watt, known in the States as one half of Everything But the Girl. This is actually Watt’s third formal solo record; his first one, North Marine Drive was released over 30 years ago while Hendra was put out in 2014. Both were critically acclaimed, the latter being something of a return to the British folk sound he had started with Drive before delving into the “sophisti-pop” of EBTG and drum and bass/electronic of other projects.
