Paul Weller is returning to Minnesota, this time at the Pantages Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. We caught the Changingman at a rare Minneapolis appearance in 2014 and noted that it was only one of four U.S.A. dates. This time, he’s expanded the tour to include quite a few dates, so don’t miss him this time around!
Weller’s A Kind Revolution just came out.
Lucy Rose to open. She actually had to postponed her headlining show at the Turf Club to tour with Paul Weller.
Rose recently released her new single, ‘Second Chance’ from her third record Something’s Changing (Arts & Crafts).
We’ve seen Rose a few times, notably Amsterdam Bar in October 2013, The Junction in Cambridge in May 2013, and randomly at 7th Street Entry in June 2012, and can recommend you show up early to check out her set.

Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas is currently on her tour for her sophomore album Telephone / Telefono, a bilingual recording. She’ll be headlining the Turf Club on Friday.
The weird thing is that Hernandez is pregnant, and a week ago, she mentioned that she was 4 weeks pregnant. She’s documenting the whole thing on social media, and if you see her this Friday, you’ll be part of her future baby’s life.
Hernandez wrote on September 27, “ I still am in awe of how much a women’s body changes and goes through during pregnancy. I went into this tour telling myself that it would be okay if I threw in the towel after a couple weeks…but here we are almost 4 weeks in and a little over two to go and I still feel like going. The baby gifts, the home cooked meals and treats, watching people sing along, seeing you all dance, it all gives me so much joy that I know me and @the_violetts little girl can feel during every show. Thank you times a million for making this tour so special. I hope my daughter can look at this experience and know that she can have a family and still keep following her dreams, no matter how far out of reach they may seem some days.”
The Ultrasounds, not to be confused with British band Ultrasound, this local group previously opened up for Jessica in October 2016.
Also Daniel & The Real Feels is on the bill.
