The Backseat Lovers

The Backseat Lovers will be performing their new album Waiting to Spill from start to finish on this special 2022 tour. The new album comes out October 28 on Capitol Records.

We saw the band in October 2021, and wrote, “It was a sold-out show for Backseat Lovers. There were still so many young fans outside the venues, hoping to score unwanted tickets from attendees … so I know the group can play a bigger venue and draw a much bigger crowd. The band was still relatively young, when right after their high school graduations, they released an EP Elevator Days, followed by a full length debut album When We Were Friends… which had over 55 million streams, thanks to their single “Kilby Girl”. As you can see, they played the hit song in the middle of their set, to a sing-along crowd in the dancefloor. ”

Peach Tree Rascals is on tour in support of their sophomore EP Does a Fish Know it’s Wet? (10k/Homemade Projects). The collective’s signature “Rascal Pop” sound returns in this unabashedly upbeat project, hinting that the group behind these easy-breezy beats is just as lighthearted and fun.

Let’s Eat Grandma

British pop duo Let’s Eat Grandma (Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth) will be headlining the 7th Street Entry this November 12th.

We don’t know where the band got their name, but they probably stole it from The Maine, who has a song called “Let’s Eat Grandma”, which we heard at the Varsity Theater in 2015. That’s weird, right? You can hear the official recording of the track on YouTube.

Let’s Eat Grandma’s album Two Ribbons is out now.
