I know it’s depressing, but I was betting that Morrissey would cancel the Minneapolis show, considering that he canceled or rescheduled Minneapolis three times in 2012 to 2013.

The ‘still ill’ explanation was given for last minute cancellation of tonight’s show in Salt Lake City and tomorrow’s Denver shows. It looks like Minneapolis may be safe (for now).

Here is the official statement:

Due to band illness, we are devastated to announce we cannot proceed with tonight’s show in Salt Lake City and tomorrow’s show in Denver.

Thank you to the fans for the ongoing love and support while we take a moment to restore and recover.

All being well, M and the band will be back on stage in Minneapolis on Friday night.
