Celebrating local radio station The Current’s 18th Anniversary, they’ve double booked Semisonic and Chastity Brown at First Avenue on January 27 and 28.

As soon as the dates were announced, both shows have sold out… although Semisonic said that a limited number of tickets for Friday’s show was released to the public.

We saw singer Dan Wilson in Sep 2017 and said, “Singer-songwriter Dan Wilson has been a Los Angeles transplant for several years now, but Minneapolis/St. Paul still claims him as one of our own, and friends, family, and fans all came out, to fill his recent concert at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul. ”

Lake Street Dive will be doing a two-night residency at the Palace Theatre in St Paul on January 27 and 28, as part of their Gather Round Sounds tour.
Monica Martin to open both nights.

The last time we heard from Lake Street Dive, they had released a six-track covers EP called Fun Machine: The Sequel.
