Toad the Wet Sprocket
at Fillmore
livenation.com

90s favorites Toad the Wet Sprocket is currently on their greatest hits tour… and will stop by the Fillmore in Minneapolis on Sept 9th, 2023. The group remastered their greatest hits album All You Want (Bonus Edition).

We caught the band in July 2015 and wrote, “Just a quick history lesson if you’re not familiar with this alt-rock/college rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket. They formed in the late 80s, and by the 90s, had some breakout hit singles (including “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, and “Fall Down”). Various reasons broke up the band in 1998, but officially announced they reformed in 2010.”

Stephen Marley
at First Avenue

first-avenue.com

Stephen Marley is heading out on tour in support of his fifth solo album, Old Soul… his first LP since 2016.

We previously saw Stephen Marley in Sep 2015 and wrote, “Stephen Marley was up first. His style is very close to that of his father’s which made the many covers of Bob that he did fit in so much better. Everything about his set was very calm and refreshing. Stephen played many songs off of his 2007 album Mind Control, that had won the Grammy for best reggae album that year, along with many songs off of his newer releases. No matter what original song or cover he did, Stephen stayed true to his sound and to the calmness and fun that reggae should be.”
